Norton's '2005 Internet Security'

Advantages: Good complete package
Disadvantages: Noticeably slows down speed of system once installed

...I bought this product after previously using Symantec's security products (anti virus, firewall, anti spam etc.) and because I've always felt safe and secure and have never had any problems with them before, however...... I noticed after installing it, and also after recommending it to approx. 6 friends and installing it on their machines, that it noticeably reduced the speed performance of our PCs, compared with before we installed it. Mainly on booting up the system. The programme itself has to load up all of the components it uses to protect your system before you can start using your PC - fair enough obviously! But in doing this, bootup time is significantly extended. Xbox 360, the whole package

Advantages: Easy to use, easy to get online, high quality graphics, wide spread of games
Disadvantages: High cost extras which should potentially be included

...As an avid user of the Xbox 360 both in the offline and on-line format (Xbox live) i've come to see the good things and the less so. First of all the Xbox 360 is at this time the most complete gaming system on offer, in terms of quality of gameplay, games and ease of set-up. From my personal experience it is simple to plug straight into Xbox live with the online purchase of the service. However this brings me to my first of only a few negatives, as is so often the case with microsoft, the extras aren't built in and they don't come cheap; many internet users now have wireless connections and in order to run Xbox live through the wireless a special adapter must be bought costing in the region of £60 which is dissapointing when you consider the Nintendo Wii has a built in Wireless adapter. Advantages: very easy to install, three packages to choose from.
Disadvantages: You get disconnected after every two hours.
