Tesco Internet Shopping

Advantages: Saves time and carrying heavy goods
Disadvantages: if you forget something

...I have been ordering food from Tesco via the Internet for the past 3 months, I have been absolutely thrilled to bits with the sevice. I have had a few hiccups but on calling Customer Services and explaining they have gone out of their way to be as helpful and rectify any problems immediately. I have been given extra shopping that I have not ordered and advised to keep the items with Tesco's compliments. I have also returned goods not required and my bank account has been recredited within a couple of working days. The delivery people are also super. I have to say that I give a 10 out of 10 for the service. Something I was concerned about was receiving naff fruit and veg but I have only received the best of everything and I am usually a very difficult customer to please. P.S. There is a £5.00 delivery charge for this service....

Kaspersky Internet Security - average protection

Advantages: Provides basic tools for anti virus, easy to install
Disadvantages: none really, just prefer AVG.

The online shop I use the most...

Advantages: Easy to find books, free delivery (Super Saver Deliveries), can sell your own things 2nd hand
Disadvantages: not a very reliable review/rating system, some Marketplace Sellers are dodgy

...Marketplace orders. Make sure you get what you paid for. Also, if you buy from very "new" sellers that have a 0 or just 1 or 2 ratings, you should beware... as they might not turn out to be reliable - and don't have an online track record to prove it either! All in all, I love Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com despite all the gripes I have with it. No other online store comes close to the huge range of products and books that Amazon stocks. And the reliability of their delivery services is excellent. Update (29/4/2009): Amazon has now changed its Super Saver Delivery service terms. Now you can get Super Saver Delivery (i.e. Free Delivery) if you buy at least £5 worth of qualifying products!...

Asda Internet Shopping

Advantages: shop from the comfort of home, no heavy bags to carry
Disadvantages: web site is slow, aisles can be confusing

...My cat has been ill recently and therefore I have had to keep him indoors and purchase cat litter. The weekly shop was becoming heavier and heavier and to carry all the shopping in from the car was hard work. I decided I would try out internet shopping once, to see if it was convenient and to get someone else to do all the heavy lifting for me! I decided to try Asda first as it is my local store and I do most of my shopping there. I logged on to the website which was easy to register and began my first shop. The first shop is always the most time consuming on here as you have to work your way through aisle by aisle on the computer. A couple of weeks ago, the Tonight with Trevor McDonald programme reported about M&S and all the problems the company are having, and how they're losing customers. While not a major M&S shopper, they do occasionally bring out nice clothes, and I always like their trousers. Through Mutual Points, I found a link for their website, and went to see what was on it.
