Advantages: Easy to set up, good quality picture and text output. Disadvantages: Could have better written manual
...Around the beginning of April, I switched on my old and trusted Epson 880 and went to print out a page, nothing happened. Nothing that is, except all the lights across the front of the machine flashing on and off. A quick reference to the handbook took me to the page that read, ?If all lights are flashing, there is an internal fault. Please contact a qualified Epson engineer?. Well it was getting on for 10 years old and had served me well, so I decided it was time for a new printer.
I was fully intending to get another Epson, but the sales assistant in PC World advised me that a the Canon IP4300 was a far better buy, and would be far cheaper to run than any of the Epsons. After he showed me some of the photographic results, I was sold and I got to admit, I am very pleased with my purchase.
On getting the printer home, I found it...
Advantages: portable printer and fast Printing speed Disadvantages: none
...Canon continues to be a product of the successful Pixma portable inkjet printers with iP100 Canon ink and the number to be doubled to a maximum resolution of 4800x1, 200dpi color. As a result, I have seen a significant increase in speed and print quality, the portable iP100 competitive with even some full-size printer. I prefer this Canon for low profile, a fast print speed, improving the cartridge and the overall flexibility of this printer.
While the iP100 same physical profile, single cartridge system has been absolutely perfect. First remove the top iP100 of the total number of jets 1088-1856. Compared with 1072 the jets in H470 and you'll see why the Canon more than a full model for HP in its class, the printer is more competitive. How iP90v and the iP90, which allows users to adjust their economic cartridges life with two...
Advantages: works well, has all features expected from a modern phone, easy user interface Disadvantages: head phones are very expensive
...I have this phone on my desk and it is really excellent. I don't have any problems. It looks like new and it is used every working day.
The user interface is very easy and intuitive.
The phone has a small light which is red when the phone rings. This is great becuase all my colleagues have the same phone and sometimes we don't know which phone rings. In addition it is possible to change the ring tone.
The display has big letters, you may see what was the last missed calls.
You may forward the call to an other number.
Nothing is missing - all functions are there. I didn't manage to create my own phone book but maybe because this is an IP phone.
The phone fell on the floor more than one time and it is still working.
The speakerphone works well and you may set the volume and save the settings.
There are some variants with a colour...
Advantages: ease of use, strong, durable, linking into GAL, remote managment and upgrades from call manager. Disadvantages: Call quality is dependant on quality of the Network. Duplex settings, over utilized network, etc
...In my experience with the Cisco IP phone 7941, which has been for 5 years or so, has been nothing but pleasure. There features to link into AD and the ability to log onto any phone in the building and look up a user on the GAL on AD is very handy indeed. Call Transfer,Conference, Mute are the standard features.
The Phones will have to be set up to work with a call manager, Which is a centre point to manage the phones, and has the ability to record conversation for quality control, etc.
They have 2 options when it comes to powering these phones, on is to buy a power adapter, the other is to buy a Cisco Switch that can supply power to the phones via Ethernet.
They are strong and reliable, they have been used as call centre phones, and we know what kind of abuse they would be put through in that environment.
All in all, i would rate...
Advantages: Cheap and replaceable. Attractive and efficient technology. Disadvantages: Ink costs more than the machine. Potential ecological mayhem.
...My new Canon PIXMA IP1800 replaces my Canon PIXMA IP1600 so the planet may be doomed and It could be my fault.
My Canon PIXMA IP1600 had nothing wrong with it. It wasn't broken. The pictures spilled out on glossy paper at A4 ready for framing. The text was crisp and black. I'd had it for a year or so. It was cheap yet efficient and as good as any printer I'd ever owned. It had no tray to catch paper coming out but otherwise was printing perfectly and I've been delighted with it. This is partly why I bought the Canon PIXMA IP1800 which is also excellent. But why bother? They're almost the same machine!
The ink is running out on my old printer and, bizarrely, new cartridges would cost more than a brand new one. My wife was furious.
She looked at the packets of ink cartridges with a shop assistant because she didn't believe me...

Review of Canon PIXMA iP1800
Advantages: Reliable Phone Disadvantages: average costumer support and i hate the display screen :P
...My 3 year experience with this phone was awesome; I have never seen such a phone with so many options. This dual port, multi-line display IP speakerphone provides user-programmable access to the features and applications enabled by Mitel IP-based IP Communications Platforms. You can configure all 12 key for different options like i.e. your headsets, DND,prefix and lot more. You need a Mitle license to make it work with Mitel PBX. Per license cost almost 200$ per channel and phone cost you around 400$.
You can use this Phone without Mitel as well using SIP protocol and you don't need any license t some of the function might don't work for you if using with other technology as I am still digging out how to use the programmable keys with asterisk PBX or directly using any long distance carrier . You can configure this phone using Web GUI...

Review of Mitel 5212 IP
Advantages: easy to use, small, light weight, good quality Disadvantages: Noisy, high supply cost in the long run, poor design
...especially when I'm printing on high-resolution paper with high quality preference.
All in all, I think that the Canon Pixma iP1000 is small and handy, especially for those who need to bring it with them. But for some people who care more on the supply cost and do print a lot of works, I recommend you to look for other choices....
Advantages: cheap ink, fast printing, quiet mode Disadvantages: If not in quiet mode then it can be quite noisy
...The canon ip1500 is probably the best printer i have had, It is smart looks good and unlike other cheap models out there it works perfectly fine, This printer is a fast printer and has several features like head cleaning and low ink warning. The ink for this printer unlike some others on the market is also cheap so you cant go wrong with buying a canon ip1500 cheap printer which does a good job and cheap ink which lasts a while. Its fast reliable and cheap. This printer retails at about £40 and the ink i used to buy from a site called choice stationary and i pay about £3 for my ink. Black and colour.
I have had my printer now for about 2 years and i have not had one problem with it at all. I use it all the time for printing documents and work related stuff. basically if you want a standard printer from printing documents etc and want...

Review of Canon PIXMA iP1500
Advantages: Quiet, fast, square, a paper tray plus a feeder and excellent prints. Disadvantages: Slightly bigger than others of the same price range.
...My previous printer was a Canon i850 - not a bad little printer - but it gave up recently so I started shopping around for a replacement. I half-heartedly looked at other makes, but the price and quality of the Canon printers, together with the price of their cartridges, always drew me back to them. They have a large range that I considered - the IP4200 was the cheapest at around £60, then the IP5200 and I also considered the MP500, an "all-in-one" printer.
The specs I looked at were:
IP4200 - price around £60, resolution 9600x2400 at 1pl (picolitre - very fine drops of ink), DVD/CD direct printing, one paper tray and one paper feeder.
IP5200 - price around £82 and everything else much the same as above, but it had two paper trays.
MP500 - price around £120, printer the same as above, but with a scanner/copier working at 1200x...
