MULTIMEDIA
The iPhone, doubles as an iPod and can play music as well as view videos and photos. All of this content needs to be ?Sync?ed using iTunes, which is something I?ve never liked with iPods as I?d rather be able to drag and drop content into and out of the device. Even now, I find iTunes quite restricting and a little tricky to organise content but it works. Transferring videos to the iPhone is a bit trickier but once on there, video quality is very good. Music quality is also very good either using headphones (included) or using the speakers, which is fairly loud but no good in a noisy room. Something good is that the headphone socket is a standard 3.5mm headphone socket located on the top of the iPhone. Phones from other manufacturer?s like Sony Ericsson, Samsung, etc all seem to use their own connectors and they sockets aren...
Advantages: fast, fun, easy to use, less use pc, Sat Nav and ipod Disadvantages: lowish battery, poor camera
...When the iPhone first came out i like everyone else sat looking at the adverts and thought thats so cool! but then as people got them i very quickly realized the adverts did not show how long everything took. then the 3g came out and it was an improvement on the internet side of thing but the application still involved a lot of hanging around. but then i this popped up onto my radar before was even announced. and when it was and they had made th iphone faster and gave it a much longer battery life i thought this is the time that i should bounce onto the band wagon. What a difference it has made. when i woke up in the morning and wanted to check train times it meant booting up a computer that took hours to turn on making me late now done in around a minute after waking up. the camera is not what you would want from a phone of 2009 but i...
Advantages: Incredibly easy to use with huge selection of quality dowloadable apps. Almost perfect... Disadvantages: Battery life it at best acceptable
...A couple of months ago I bought an Apple iPhone 3GS 16Gb. It is my first iPhone, and also my first smart phone. I was tempted by the original iPhone and the iPhone 3G, but was put out by some key feature omissions, notably lack of MMS and voice dialling.
The iPhone is immaculately presented in a surprisingly small, well designed box. The contents comprise the iPhone, wired headphones with microphone, a short USB charging cable and a charger. The chunky instruction manual that seems to come with every other phone on the market is notably absent; there is just a concise quick start leaflet. As always with an Apple product, EVERYTHING is meticulously designed to the same high standard. The charger is very discrete and is no bigger then a standard 13amp plug, the USB cable has incredibly small connectors at either end...
Advantages: Upgraded sofware and Hardware, better camera Disadvantages: Appearance hasn't changed, Expensive
... Apple iPhone 3GS - An iPhone Upgrade
Now I?ve heard people saying ?what is the point of Apple releasing an new iPhone when it looks exactly like the old one!? and to be honest they may have a point... If it ain?t broke, don?t fix it - right? Well no actually, while there may be very few external changes, inside it?s a different story. The 3GS has a larger CPU, more storage space, new internal compass and Apple have improved the optics for the new iPhone?s camera. These modifications coincide neatly with a leap forward in the iPhone?s system software, the release of the iPhone OS 3.0 ? which will allow features including copy and paste, tethering, landscape keyboard options for more applications and a version of Spotlight, designed specifically for the iPhone.
Appearance
As I have already mentioned, in terms...
...has come into my life. The music is normally synched onto your phone much like that of doing it through your Ipod, the drag and drop and making play list. The audio is really clear as one would expect, you can skip tracks, pause an replay songs much like the normal ipod. The only downside for me was the headphones Apple provide, as they are similar to the phones the Ipod has. For some abnormal reason the standard headphone don't seem to fit around my ear loabs properly and always fall out. I remember I had to wait for Apple to create headphone that go around the whole ear in order to effectively use the MP3 player, weird. Instead because of my abnormality I saw myself buying a wireless Bluetooth headset that allowed me to listen to music more comfortably

Review of Apple iPhone
Advantages: fantastic amounts of applications that you can take on and off quickly. Disadvantages: poor camera only 3 megapixel
...I spent ages recently deciding what new mobile phone to get. I wanted touch screen but also wanted the best in terms of gadgets and things that the phone could do other than be a phone.
I looked at the N97 which looked to be fantastic against the reviews and also the TG1 from Toshiba. Now i could go into all the specifications of the iphone compared to the rest, but when i was looking that ment nothing to me. I needed to know if the phone was fast, and what could it do other than being a phone and also was it the best in terms of value.
To start with the iphone has the second biggest screen behind the Toshiba TG1. The iphone interface is what you make it. Your apps fill the menu screen so you decide what is on them. The apps come from the app store and when i tell you that the apps range from games to eye sight tests you really...
Advantages: Sleek design, simplicity, the mass amount of apps you can get for it Disadvantages: Battery life, 3 megapixel camera, no flash, quite expensive
...Now this is one of the best things I have EVER spent my money on.
Starting with the look, it is sleek and simple. One of the things that Apple strives for is the look of these handsets, which I personally love.
The user intreface is also sleek and simple, as it uses icons instead of text - which most mobile handsets use. You can have different 'pages' for your apps, and you can organise your apps in whatever way you want..
The touchscreen is one of the only touchscreens that I have ever liked, and enjoyed using. Previous phones that I have had with touchscreens are too tricky to get the right buttons, and slow in response. The iPhone certainly beats all other touchscreens by far! I enjoy using the touchscreen on this phone.
The camera is a 3 megapixel, which is poor compared to other phones out on the market, but the 3 megapixel...
Advantages: It's advanced technology and huge variety of features. Disadvantages: The very low and quickly decreasing battery life.
...The iPhone 3G S is an amazing piece of palm-sized technology. It has everything you could possibly ask of a mobile phone (except Blue-tooth data exchange), and much more! I was shocked at it's ease of use considering its a smart phone! However, although it does have a few new features from its predecessor, the iPhone 3G, but it didn't seem as much of a technological breakthrough considering the transition of the original iPhone to the iPhone 3G, which is one of the reasons I gave it 4, and not 5 stars.
First of all, there is the biggest thing about the iPhone 3G S, is the addition if the S to the title. It stands for speed, and they're not lying. I compared my friends iPhone 3G to my iPhone 3G S, and I noticed how much quicker internet pages load, applications load up, and even basic things like sending a text (which may have been due...
Advantages: very easy to use, amazing looking. Disadvantages: price slighlty expensive
...I own one of these and they are absolutely brilliant, it feels great, looks amazing and in my opinion its the best gadget there is. its not only a phone its also a email device, pda, a proper organiser and a good mp4 player. its possible to buy games, utilies and a numereous amount of application which makes life must easier, theres retaurant finder, maps that gives you directions like a sat nav, without the talking, the 2megapixel camera isnt superb but the picture quality is like havin a laptop in your hand, it is crystal clear. the iphone is light and you gets some amazing cases to use with it. there is loads of application from apple itune stores which is cheap, try it out, in my opinion its great....

...the home screen. On the top, you will find a headphone jack and a lock/unlock button. Press the button, and your screen will shut off until you press another button. To unlock the iPhone, you press a button and slide the arrow across the screen. On the left side of the iPhone you will find a volume adjusting button and a silence switch. When you slide the switch, you are toggling the ringer on and off. When the switch is in the silenced position, your iPhone will not make any noise at all. On the bottom, you will find two speakers and the place where you plug in your charger, or computer cable. Every iPhone comes with a dock, which you can plug speakers in and charge at the same time.
Overall, the iPhone is a great phone, and I highly recommend anyone to get it....
