Advantages: Attractive, easy to use touch screen and applications
Disadvantages: Expensive and the headphones are not very durable

...In my opinion the iPod touch is the best in the MP3 player category. With features such as the applications and album artwork it is much more than just a music playing device. However, I would recommend most music listeners to go for a higher memory option. The headphones are not very durable however, and are expensive to replace. That s one drawback of the iPod, all the accessories and software updates tend to be expensive. With the accessories it may be best to look elsewhere than the official Apple products as there are good alternatives. Unless you want a simple music player, in which case I would recommend the iPod shuffle, I think this easily beats the competition in attractiveness and, like most Apple products, just being cool! Its is not the cheapest in its category, but I think it is without a doubt the best....

...Well, after my old 40GB Ipod Classic met a tragic end, I decided to buy 2 new Ipods as its replacement - an Ipod mini for the gym, and the 32GB Ipod Touch for listing all of my music on. I could have bought another classic Ipod, but wanted something that could do more than the usual Ipod items of music and videos. I could have bought a different MP3 player that wasn't an Ipod at all - but (a) that was the brand I was used to and (b) I already had an Itunes library set up (so it was convenient for me to buy from the same manufacturer). I could have bought the 8GB or the 16GB version of the Touch, but as my music collection is 20GB, I wanted the 32GB. Anything less would have meant that my entire collection wouldn't be on it - which kind of defeated the object of buying a new large hard drive Ipod. So, as I definitely wanted...

Advantages: extreme usefulness

...the apple ipod touch 32GB is the best value for money in my eyes when it comes to versitility, durability and capacity although the capacity is put to shame by that of the ipod video which has about 100GB it is still plenty of space for all your application, music and video needs. versitility: the ipod touch contains an itunes app store with over 10,000 application to do anything form straightening a picture to practising guitar in cramped conditions, but if your not into those it also has thousands more practical apps such as a mobile internet browser and a scientific calculator. durability: I personaly have an ipod touch and form the time i got it i must have dropped it at least 20 times on concrete and stone floors until I finally made the clever descision to just buy a case but before that i found that the ipod touch can take...

Advantages: Good music player, good apps
Disadvantages: only 7.01gb. can only fit 1100 songs

...This is the best gadget i own, it combines decent mini games, music and social networking in one easy package. It has made using facebook alot easier, so i don't have to tun on my laptop every time i want to check it. true, the app for facebook closes down when i try to chat with some people, but thats the only hitch. along with e-buddy its the best facebook mobile out there. The mini games are quite good, but not worth buying the ipod purely for them though. many games are free, but the best ones cost about 60p to £2. i would recommend pocket god, which is addictive. then theres the music player, which is as good as any ipod out there. the reason why i give it only 4 stars is because whilst it claims it can fit 1750 songs on it you would be able to get at most about 1100 songs on it without any apps on the device as well. also it...

I have been an Apple fan for a while and have have an iPod mini (4gb), iPod video (30gb) and now my iPod touch (as well as a Mac mini =] ). If you are wanting an MP3 player that will just play your music then you may be put off the iPod touch as for the same price you can have a considerably bigger music player. However the Album Art scrolling feature- known as Cover Flow make it more interesting, and there is nothing more fun than scrolling through your albums with your fingers! However this is a lot more than an MP3 player. Although it will hold 2000 songs or tonnes of videos it also has a lot more features built in. ...I got my 8GB ipod touch for christmas and its been great every since day one! It came with a cool leather case to protect the beautiful shiny backplate that it has (so easily scratched its incredible!) It feels really nice in your hands and is just so easy and simple to use. It works using a touch screen system and only two main buttons. One for turning it on and off and one is the home button which is used to close appications and return to the homepage. One of the best features of the 2nd gen touch is the WIFI connection. I connected it to my homehub router in seconds and then was able to use apples pre-installed web browser safari, which i was very impressed by. I love My Ipod Touch

Advantages: Responsive, durable, easy to use and fun
Disadvantages: A little too thin and you need access to a computer

...I love my Ipod Touch so much that I want to purchase the Iphone. I use it all the time especially because I travel a lot with my family. I am a movie junkie and this way I can also keep my 7yr old occupied with cartoons, games or music. The touch is excellent, there is a note pad and the keys are precise to the touch. I use it to write notes at work, shopping list or even if I am traveling I write down things I want to remember about the trip so I can write it in my journal even though, I am sure there is a journal application you can download but I like to write. ...I have had this product for a number of months and have had no problems with it. I love music and the internet so this product is the best product for me at the moment. I think it is better with the new software update wich i recently purchased to enhance my ipod experience. The 2nd generation ipod touches come with this already but for those who have the first gen ipod toch it is by far better with the latest software.
