Disadvantages: Zero support for some old peripherals, crashes car stereo , Bit heavy!

...and click 'get album artwork' - this did take a while... but worked! Whilst coverflow looks nice I don't think it adds extra functionality to the IPod... more a space draining quirk! It does look awesome though ;-) Sound playback is the usual high standard - but this is really down to you, the user - I have all my imported (off CD) music set to apple loss-less. Which will take up more space, but with 160 GIGS to play with... it is not a great deal more! It must be said - the headphones supplied are useless... get some Sennheiser CX300 - the added clarity is noticeable - and you do not need it as loud! The hat trick is that the ear buds stay in my ear when I am working out. Video playback; to test this I ripped Family Guy from dvd to IPod using the ImToo software package. Quality was good - but KILLS your battery! So not ideal...

I have owned the ipod shuffle and the video and i would have to say the classic is the best. The menus are easy to minovure around and the coverflow is a very nice touch. The cover flow enables you to find the album just by remembering what the cover looked like, sound like it cannot be hard to forget a fav track, with 160gig its easily done so you will be thankfull of the cover flow after twenty minutes of searching. The iPod goes from strength to strength

...I purchased this to replace my 3rd Gen? 40gb iPod and boy what a difference. The screen on the new 160gb iPod is MUCH bigger than my old iPod and also the screen is in colour. The 160gb iPod's screen shows a lot more info than my old iPod such has Cover Flow (I will mention this later in the review) and album covers. The quality of the screen is absolutely amazing; it remains bright in direct sunlight and is ALWAYS very easy to read. The iPod 160gb also has the ability to play videos but I cannot comment on this feature as I have not used it yet. The excellent click wheel is still here as well; for people who are not familiar with this, the white circle on the front of the iPod has 4 functions on it, MENU (TO GO INTO MENUS, TRACK LISTS, VARIOUS OTHER FUNCTIONS) SKIP FORWARD, SKIP BACK, PLAY/PAUSE. Advantages: lots of space for movies and tv shows

...I bought this in Argos for £220 a good bargain I have to say. I have only had this iPod for a few weeks but I have found it very useful it's an iPod classic but it has been redesigned and re-released please do not ask me what they exactly they have changed this is my first one. But if I were to guess it would be the size of memory at 160 GB it is more than enough for all my music, pictures, videos and movies. Or if you do not need that much you could get the 80GB version Not only is this a great little screen but if you really want you can purchase a TV cable so you can connect it up to the TV since its160GB you can put movies on their easily and the picture quality is quite good. The battery life is up to 7 hours of videos. On the down side iTunes can be expensive for example a TV show can cost £1.99. I'm not here to tell you that...
