...After a bike accident in which smashed my old ipod nano 1G and after 3 days in hospital without it to listen to i bought a IPOD NANO 3G Black 8GB, it i great the sound quality is good with new headphones however the ipod earphones are not great and it has a equalizer to match the sort of music you play, and the amount to choose from is huge, the screen is incredibley bright and clear and can be adjusted and when playing video the quality was way better than my digital TV. 8GB is plenty of room for movies and music as the videos are compressed for ipod compatibility. The itunes software does not allow you to do this however free programs are available that do. ...I bought this iPod off ebay about half a year ago. I have found that this iPod is extremely good just like all the other iPods. However this iPod is the best looking iPod ever! With the black and the red it looks absolutely stunning. This iPods seem to last for ages however because of its colour it does scratch quite easily but this does not do anything to the actual iPod it is just cosmetic and you can only see the scratches if you hold them in a special angle to the light. It has all of the features of any other iPod. This is the photo version so do not be fooled into thinking it is. However the iPod still holds around 5000 songs or 20000 photos. It has a battery life of around 15 hours depending on what you do with it. The iPod comes with many extra features such as an alarm clock, clock, a place ofr you to store contact details... ...I bought this logik ipod docking station in the curry's sale 12/12/07 I bought it for £25. So what does this ipod docking station do ? It tells you the time it charges your ipod it has a radio you can play your ipod on it it can be powered via mains or 2 aaa battery's It has massive built in speakers it comes with a nice handy remote. It has an alarm The first thing I am going to talk about is the amazing 3 inch clock display with its bold font you can see the time from anywhere in a room. The display also has a light so that even at night you can see the time with out the darkness of the numbers being hard to see. One downfall from this is the light is BRIGHT! And I have this docking station in my bedroom therefore when trying to sleep it is hard so I put a t-shirt or something over the display to make the light less bright... Read review

...When i purchases this Ipod earlier this year, shortly after they came out in England, i was very dissapointed with this ipod. With its mirrored back leadign to scratching and dust collection it is necesary to buy a case for it, but what a selection, you can buy a rubbish cloth case which you cannot see the screen, or a rubber one which makes changing a song almost physically impossible. But to talk about the Ipod itself, the black is prone to scratching far more easily than the silver version. Although it looks better in my opinion, more futuristic and sleek it does gather dust at an alarming rate...... The cheapest place i could find the ipod (at a reputable seller) was on www.play.com but thats if your ok with buying over the internet, but HMV arent that bad if youw ant to go and see it. ...be used as an alarm, games which include Brick, Parachute, Solitaire and a Music Quiz which plays bits of songs you have and you have to guess what it is as quickly as possible. It also has a calendar, contacts list, notes and a stopwatch. If you like to listen to audio books you can buy them on the itunes music store as well as pod casts of your favourite radio shows. I used to have the video ipod which held more songs but I think the ipod nano is so much better because although it has less space it is a lot smaller so it is easier to carry about in pockets when I go out. I would recommend anyone to buy this because it is very easy to use and a lot better than the older ipods.... Read review

...This product is attractive and slick enough to got well with any black iPod. I bought mine to go with my black nano, with which it looks very smart. It worked straight out of the box, which is SO relieving, and I've had no problems with it at all. The alarm is perfectly easy to set, and allows you to wake up to iPod, Radio or buzzer. iPod and Radio are the only two real options though, as the buzzer is the most ungodly noise to wake up to. It allows you to set up to two alarms, and allows you to set the volumes for the alarms. The screen will display what alarms are set and what you will wake up to. The Radio function has no problems with it, and works with AM and FM. The reception is good, although the FM receiver is a long wire which could get in the way and/or spoil the look. ...the Ipod, making it look really good in a darken room. The really funny thing is how something so small can make so much noise; it only weighs 400 grams and is the size of an A5 piece of paper! Because of the size and weight, it will easily fit into your suitcase, if you (like me) love listening to music on holiday. If you had a 20-kilo weight allowance for your suitcase, you could pack 50 of these!, that's how light and small it is. It even comes with a plug that fits electricity sockets in Europe and the USA as well as the standard UK plug. It also has a slot to fit 4 AA batterys so you can take it everywhere! I even use this how my new alarm clock! Simply set the alarm time on your ipod, leave the speakers on and then when the alarm is set off, your selected song will play on your ipod and then thru the speakers! And the great thing... .... The calendar and sleep clock are also handy if you're listening to your iPod in bed. I also managed to synchronise my iPod calendar to my phone calendar (see my Sony Ericsson review) so I definitely didn't forget any birthdays! The alarm is rather annoying though! Another thing I do like about the iPod mini is the Music Quiz game, which came in very handy during one rainy camping trip! The brick game is hard to play with the clickly wheel though! The battery is my biggest issue with the iPod mini. My iPod has now been taken to bits and a new battery put in place, which lasts around 5 hours I am pleased to say. However the original battery had slowly stopped working unless it was permanently on charge. When I first got the iPod the battery would last around 5 to 6 hours but this slowly went down to 4 then to 3 and eventually I had to charge... Read review
