I have owned the ipod shuffle and the video and i would have to say the classic is the best. The menus are easy to minovure around and the coverflow is a very nice touch. The cover flow enables you to find the album just by remembering what the cover looked like, sound like it cannot be hard to forget a fav track, with 160gig its easily done so you will be thankfull of the cover flow after twenty minutes of searching. Advantages: Quick, simple, large memory, long batterey life, compact, stylish.
Disadvantages: At first it is complicated to use

...satisfying to use, there is a built in search engine in this ipod so you can search your songs by lettrer or by word, this can be extremely usefull when you have over 100 songs because you dont have to seach through albums etc. Probably my favourite thing about the ipod classic is when you turn it off, it remembers where you turned it off and when it is turned back on it starts up where it was turned off, even in the middle of a tv show! Another thing i love about this device is the lock switch at the top which allows the user to lock the ipod to prevent accidental pressing of buttons. It has a contacts folder and a clock. If you are bored you could also try the games which are included free with the device. they are simple, easy to controll but give a good challenge that kept me interested. Downloading from itunes to the ipod takes only minuites...

I play videos and TV shows from mine and I find that very useful as it is very good quality. I also use it to put photos on and its easy to show people and when I want to look at my memories. Also I know that my photos are saved on it and recently when my computer failed I found it really useful as I knew I had them on my Ipod.
