...I have had my ipod classic for nearly two years now and ive only ever had one fault with it, and even then apple sent a U.P.S van out with package, i returned it with the driver and the ipod was sent back to me full circle in three days. I have owned the ipod shuffle and the video and i would have to say the classic is the best. The menus are easy to minovure around and the coverflow is a very nice touch. The cover flow enables you to find the album just by remembering what the cover looked like, sound like it cannot be hard to forget a fav track, with 160gig its easily done so you will be thankfull of the cover flow after twenty minutes of searching. ...Initially I bought this for my commute to work. Having owned a IPod video 30 gig which suffered long term abuse, and being dropped countless times - I decided to splash out and treat myself. The IPod classic - well, there is not much difference functionality then the IPod video. Opening any product made by apple is a joy in itself - one does wonder how long they deliberate over the pretty box! Getting over the box design, the IPod is neatly presented - with the contents kept in individual packaging. Once I tapped the play button, the usual setup menu was a welcoming sight and I continued the usual setup process. Unfortunately there is a just a little bit more bad news you cannot delete anything on the iPod on till you remove it from your iTunes gallery and plug your iPod into your computer and synchronise it put what's on your friends computer on your iPod . If you own an iPod I'm sure you will agree that the worst thing about them is that when you take it out of the box first time is all shiny and new but within days is scratched and covered in sticky finger marks which make it all look very dirty. Also if you are buying this as a gift for someone or just yourself you should consider adding in an iTunes gift card with it they are sold in many places. No matter how big your libary is you will have plenty of room with the Ipod Classic and if you have access to the internet you will never have to worry about it getting old either because there are regular update's. The Ipod Dose not support WMA so make sure the music you curently have is mp3. The Ipod classic can play films, games and music. It also has a full colour screen and a gorgous body.
