Another bupside to this devise is the fact you can purchase in different memory sizes aswell as different colours. firmware can easily be updated through 'itunes' to keep your mini running crisp. from the expierience i have had from this product i rate it 8/10, rating it 9/10 if it was that little bit slimmer, and 10/10 if it came with a colour screen. ...I wanted an iPod mini as soon as they were launched, but my then boyfriend made me wait and he said hed get me one for my birthday, which was in August. He ordered one from America, and it never came. The company it was bought from offered a replacement while they filed an insurance claim, only the second one didnt come either. He was in a massive strop because he had lost his money, and I was in one because I was missing a birthday present! He finally got all his money back a couple of months ago, so I ordered my pink mini from Apples website, along with an iSkin and a dock. It came just in time for me to take to New York, and I had my nickname engraved on the back for free, so that if anybody ever steals it, they wont be able to sell it. ...After reading a few devastating reviews of the iPod mini, I feel the need to defend it particularly as I find there is nothing to complain about. I've heard many scare stories about the iPods, both the normal white ones as well as the mini version. However they seem to boil down to the following: -Poor Battery Life -White earbuds = ASKING to get mugged. -Questionable Sound Quality -Absence of a radio tuner. As for battery life, I only use my iPod when I'm commuting, so I haven't felt the need for anything longer than even the advertised 8hrs. Because of this I only need to charge my iPod on average every 3 days. Regarding the white apple earbuds being a mugging magnet - you honestly have to be a total retard or wear rose-tinted glasses to walk out of the house with Apple's supplied earbuds and expect to come back home...

...This is the best gadget i own, it combines decent mini games, music and social networking in one easy package. It has made using facebook alot easier, so i don't have to tun on my laptop every time i want to check it. true, the app for facebook closes down when i try to chat with some people, but thats the only hitch. along with e-buddy its the best facebook mobile out there. The mini games are quite good, but not worth buying the ipod purely for them though. many games are free, but the best ones cost about 60p to £2. i would recommend pocket god, which is addictive. then theres the music player, which is as good as any ipod out there. the reason why i give it only 4 stars is because whilst it claims it can fit 1750 songs on it you would be able to get at most about 1100 songs on it without any apps on the device as well. also it...

...In my opinion the iPod touch is the best in the MP3 player category. With features such as the applications and album artwork it is much more than just a music playing device. However, I would recommend most music listeners to go for a higher memory option. The headphones are not very durable however, and are expensive to replace. That s one drawback of the iPod, all the accessories and software updates tend to be expensive. With the accessories it may be best to look elsewhere than the official Apple products as there are good alternatives. Unless you want a simple music player, in which case I would recommend the iPod shuffle, I think this easily beats the competition in attractiveness and, like most Apple products, just being cool! Its is not the cheapest in its category, but I think it is without a doubt the best....

I have owned the ipod shuffle and the video and i would have to say the classic is the best. The menus are easy to minovure around and the coverflow is a very nice touch. The cover flow enables you to find the album just by remembering what the cover looked like, sound like it cannot be hard to forget a fav track, with 160gig its easily done so you will be thankfull of the cover flow after twenty minutes of searching.
