...this ipod is really good. It comes with standard ipod earphones worth about £20 - £25. The ipods full memory is around 7.2 gb because of the space the actual ipod programme comes with. the ipod can play videos in mp4 format and these are usually very good quality. the ipod comes with a few quizzes in the games section and a block breaker game although my favourite game is the music quiz which collects info on the music in your ipod and quizzes you about them so this game i thought was very clever. the ipod plays both mp3 and wma files although every song must be uploaded onto itunes but dont worry you dont need to buy every song you can rip the music from cd's or upload them from your computer. Ihave had no problem with my ipod yet and ive had it for about 8 months ( date correct at 8th july 08)...

...You just have to love the iPod nano. Yes, so maybe there are a few tiny issues with it, but when you look at it and consider the cute, chic design of the thing- how can you not fall in love with it? I hate to be anywhere without my music, and the nano is the perfect way to carry my music with me. Small enough to fit in my pocket, with more than enough memory to store all my songs on it, and excellent sound quality, the iPod nano 3rd gen is a must-have. I also love the fact that it stores videos and photos, almost like carrying a mini-version of my computer around with me. The design is also exceptionally well thought-out - the back of the nano doubles as a mirror, and the matte finish on the front of the nano gives it a high-quality, classy appearance. Ipod 3rd Generation Ipod Nano

Advantages: Good Storage, A Good All Rounder, Tougher Than Older Models.
Disadvantages: Bad Battery Life.

...The new Ipod 3rd generation nano is a new way to have everything an Ipod offers in a smaller, easier to manage form, this new Ipod covers: Music, videos, photos, podcasts and extras which include games, notes and alarms. In my opinion the 8GB storage space is the best option, it gives you the ability to hold your favorite few films whilst still being able to store all your music, the screen although not massive is reasonably large enough to be able to watch videos on and has good picture quality. The newer Ipod nano seems to be tougher that the older nano's, small drops are no longer a worry of broken screens or freezing. Rather than explain the good points to you (as that would take far too long as, generally, the standard is superb), I will list negative points: 1. A low fuzz can be heard in some songs, in some it's more prominent than others. It's on completely random songs i.e not just on downloads, songs off CDs, etc - it's a combination. However I've had this problem on no other ipods that I've used, including the same generation, so I put this down to being unlucky and getting a dud set of ear-pieces. 2. This happens very rarely, but sometimes it can be tricky to use the click wheel. 3. It, again - rarely, freezes/spontaneously resets. Have some fun in your life with the iPod Nano 3rd generation

Its 8GB, so you can have 1000 songs, 4 hours of video and 3500 pictures. I have put a few videos on this and since the screen is small it sort of goes a little blurry, but not too much that you can't see the video. It comes in Silver, Black, Red, Green and Light Blue. You move around the wheel (the circle) to ajust the sound and move up and down the menu or artists. Even if your sound is down at the lowest you can still here well aslong as youve not made it completely silent. Sadly the headphones broke quickly, and so did my sisters and most peoples. Advantages: small
Disadvantages: not so easy for first time user

...The item itself is excellent, easy to use, sounds great, and fits neatly into any pocket.The only problem is with the loading of all my cd's into itunes to put themon my nano. I had to import all the song titles manually and then search the internet for the cd artwork and drag it across as itunes had NONE!!!. When I then put it all onto my Nano when the cd was playing only the first track showed the artwork so I had to copy it to every track for every album. To say that Apple have sold millions of these devices over many years (we're now on the 3rd Gen) it's about time they got the itunes updated with a lot more info....

...I've never used this iPod to watch video but I've seen other people with the same model - some had full-length movies on theirs! - and it looks great. I've never had any problems at all with my iPod and I've had it for over a year, I think. I'd advise keeping it in a case or sock of some sort because it can get scratched pretty easily - nonetheless I still prefer the 3rd gen to the new Chromatic 4th series, which looks like the older nano versions to me. The games included are fun although granted I hardly see myself playing them... Overall I think the 3rd gen iPod nano is a good buy, and if you can get your hands on one, make sure you do!...

...with ipods i found 4gb to more than enough and despite trying my hardest ive failed to even come close to using all the memory up. As iam sure you know you can watch video on the new nano the screen is a fair size 1.5" x 2.0" it also has a larger, brighter display with the most pixels per inch of any Apple display, ever its good to watch clips, music vids or short tv shows, but i would find it hard to sit and watch anything that lasted to long on it, but that might just be me it may not bother some people. You can also upload your photos onto it, and then view them like a slideshow if you wish. It has coverflow, it displays the album covers of whatever albums you have on there so that when looking through them its easy to find what your looking for. You also have the options of having podcasts, audio book and games. The sound like all ipods...

...When I first received this iPod in the mail, I was taken back! I have seen these before in real life and online, and honestly; they don't look so small and thin! They look really nice, and the sound quality is incredible! Music takes like no time to load onto the iPod through iTunes. And when you're in the player, you can listen to music, watch videos, podcasts, TV Shows, Play games, store contacts, notes and it even keeps you up to date on the time ^^. Looks: 10/10 Sound: 10/10 Quality 20/10 I would recommend buying a metal case when you purchase it though, as the back WILL scratch like hell unless you protect it! The screen is amazingly bright and clear, and the click-wheel makes navigating easy as pie. The wheel is a bit sensitive though. Amazing product, would recommend....
