Apple Ipod Nano 8GB 4th Gen

Advantages: Great product, nice audio playback. Beautiful screen
Disadvantages: Short battery life when playing games. A couple of very small annoyances.

...with the item since I received it as a gift. This brings me onto the free engraving option on all new Ipod's. This feature that Apple offers adds a really nice touch to the item as it is an ideal gift for anyone. You can personalise a message to go onto the back of the Ipod upon purchase. However this pretty much ruins any chance of selling it second hand for a decent price after you have finished using or replaced it. The 8GB if memory that comes can hold a lot of, music, games, podcasts and you can even use it as a memory stick for other files. I am yet to fill mine but I have a relatively small music collection, I would suggest getting the 16GB if you have an expansive collection of music. The battery life is good, and I'm hoping that the battery on this Ipod doesn't go the same way as my old one, barely being able to hold a charge...

iPod Nano 8GB (4th Gen.) - A MUST BUY!

Advantages: Comes in range of 9 different colours, large screen, good resolution!
Disadvantages: 8GB can be used up very quickly

...have a better design as they have a larger screen so album artwork really looks great! The resolution looks amazing and very clear whilst watching music videos and really makes this iPod Nano a worthwhile buy. With the new built-in accelerometer, which allows the screen to tilt into widescreen whenever the Nano is tipped onto its side, you can play games such as Klondike, Maze or Vortex much easily and also go through your album cover flow more efficiently to find music. At the time of purchasing my iPod Nano, I thought 8GB was sufficient to store all my music files, but have now realised it would have been better to go with the 16GB Nano. I tend to transfer new music onto my Nano every week and so find that my memory space gets filled up very quickly. I would recommend people with 1000+ songs in their music library to get an Nano...

After getting used to the initial fidgety, circling my finger round the buttons to navigate the menus I was having great fun playing music, games and videos. The 4G nano is different from the 2G in a few ways. Firstly the screen is quite a bit bigger. This makes it better to play games on, the maze game is particularly good. It is also motion sensitive so playing games is alot more fun. Guiding a small ball around a maze collecting things, while tilting the iPod in all different directions is fun. It also means you need to have the picture of every album on. This might be a good feature to show off to your mates who only have the older nanos but when your on your own with it you'll never really find your self using this feature. New games it has incorporates the movement of the nano into games such as a maze you have to turn your nano to get out of. This might be a good little novelty however you do look abit stupid if your on your own. ...The ipod Nano is Apples new installment into the MP3 franchise. The nano is almost flawless except a few minor things in my experience. The battery life is terrible and the earphones wear away and break so easily. So I would recommend buying new headphones when buying the enw nano. The ipod is very durable and it has everything you need if you want to have entertainment on the go. But at this time I would recommend buyign the Iphone instead because it is much better and it's a phone. The ipod nano is more expensive than other ipod models but in the long run it is worth it because of its sheer beuty.
