Advantages: Great GUI, great music and video experience, great design
Disadvantages: not used to its full potential and can feel a bit basic at times

...The ipod touch is a great device, but it could be so much greater. The software and features are great as is the amount of memory. But apple could have done a lot better. Take for instance with older ipods you could use your ipod as external storage from your computer but this feature has been taken out of the touch for no apparent reason. The touch also has no volume buttons like the iphone which could come in handy. However the screen is great for viewing videos, the sound quality is great as is the general music experience. Coverflow really adds to this and you can see the jump in technology when compared to older ipods. Yet apple have not used the device to its full potential. Ipod Touch

Advantages: Looks Great, Sounds great(with a headphone upgrade), crisp screen and responsive touch controls
Disadvantages: metallic back scratches easily, lack of actual volume buttons can be frustrating

...The ipod touch is, quite frankly, the coolest mp3 player on the market. When i got mine (16Gb), it was just after it was released, so people in my school were constanly asking to hold it or touch it, so not only is it a great mp4 player its a fashion statement too. Onto the features. The ipod touch has a few downsides. As good as the metallic back looks it does get scratched very easily which in my opinion could be avoided especially as its bigger brother got a lovely matte black rubber finish, much more practical. The way the volume is controlled is also extremely impractical, without the presence of external volume controls it can be very frustrating when a loud rock or R'n'B songs blows your ears off and you have to take the ipod out of your pocket, unlock it, turn the volume down while on the move (not easy), lock it and then put...

...The Ipod touch is without a doubt the best Mp3/Mp4 player that is on the market currently in my opinion as it has so many good qualities. These qualities include the beautiful touch screen which enables quick navigation, up to 2500 songs / 20 films and thousands of pictures, internet access, hundreds of games to choose from (some already installed on the ipod) and lots of icons to choose from (stock market checks, calendar etc) which just basically makes the whole experience of having an ipod touch that little bit better. The ipod touch (16GB) version is in my opinion the best value for money at roughly £220 as it holds a lot of data yet still doesn't break the bank. If you are thinking of buying a loved one a present I would recommend the ipod touch as it can be personalised and customised to that persons needs, apple store...

...When my first ipod (nano) broke, i really wanted to get the same ipod again as a replacement but the model i had was no longer being made much to my disappointment as i had gotten so attached to it! Then I heard about the ipod touch and decided i would give it a go and i really haven't looked back since. It's definetly one of Apple's masterpieces. Its really easy to use and set up. You can download movies, videos and games onto it through itunes very easily. Flawless colour, perfect sound, brilliant storage and lovely design- its flawless! Its also set up for WiFi which is a life-saver! You can access your email, the weather report, maps, calender, you tube.... everything really! Its simply a genius in an ipod! I would recommed it to anyone. Its like a iphone but without the phone... and the pricetag!!...

iPod Touch Review

Advantages: Very slim design, superb visuals, built-in wifi with full web, jailbreak to increase functionality
Disadvantages: Isn't the BEST sound, but that's being very picky!

...The first thing you'll notice when you receive your iPod Touch is how unbelieveably thin it is. How on earth Apple managed to pack everything in it is way beyond me. The first decent thing therefore is the packaging - nothing is wasted. The box is incredibly small so won't clutter anything. Now onto the main review. The Apple iPod Touch is one amazing music player. Unfortunately it still does not support OGG-Vorbis, but of course AAC makes up for this so you can still retain great quality sound with lower bitrates. The iPod Touch doesn't have the best sound around, but to say it's a fault would be being very picky indeed. Now onto the visuals. Absolutely superb. Even just looking at album art - you'll be astounded as to quality. But if you think that's great, the video player is even better. Supporting videos of 640x480 using...

...I received my ipod touch just a week after its release in the UK, delivery from apple was quick and easy. Having received my touch i carefully opened the box, it was well boxed and packaged! It is an excellent piece of kit! Definitely a real head turner and the best music player I have had to date, no screen problems, it is crisp and of an excellent quality, sound is good too, browsing through your favorite songs has NEVER been easier, just a flick of a finger and a touch on the screen and your playing one of your favorites! Coverflow is simply amazing and the built in accelerometer makes the experience something out of this world. Turning the ipod makes the screen rotate which is good, sometimes however ill be listening to music in bed and it will rotate because i am laying sideways. Not to forgot the WiFi and Music Store...

My Ipod Touch

Advantages: Stores many songs
Disadvantages: to be honist i dont have any

...The case fits beautifully and is molded to conform to the profile of the two buttons on the Touch (the power button and the main menu button). One thing I really like is that unlike other protective cases, this one does not increase the profile of the iPod to the point that it doesn't fit into a cradle. I use a couple of devices with cradle interfaces and it fits snuggly even with the case on. The screen protector that was included went on smoothly and is absolutely invisible. The touchscreen is perfectly responsive underneath the cover. ONE NOTE: The cover, at least on my Touch, seems to block the light sensor (not sure where it is) because after putting on the sleeve the Touch screen dims and stays dimmed. I had to turn off the auto-dim feature, which is fine because it's not something I was too concerned with. I just set...

iPod Touch 16GB - Pros and Cons

Advantages: Easy internet access
Disadvantages: Slow internet

...I found the iPod touch (16 GB) very easy to use. Having had no experience with the iPhone or an iPod Touch before it is easy to pick up and use straight away. On iTunes the iPod touch works exactly the same way as other ipods and only requires an iTunes update from the apple website. The internet on it is quite slow, but then its not designed to be used as a personal computer so i think this can be forgiven. When using the keypad, it was a little boxy and it is easy to hit 2 buttons at the same time. The iPod touch 16GB can be found for only £35 more than iPod Classic, and when decinding between the two, the Ipod Touch is well worth the extra....
