I bought the iPod touch for my son for his 10th birthday. Before he alerted me to the item I knew nothing at all about it. Having played around with it for a few hours, I can now see what all the fuss is about as this item is so addictive. The touch comes in 3 guises, namely 8Gb, 16Gb and 32Gb versions. These are all identical apart from, obviously the storage capacity.

I must admit that then the box came, I thought half the order had been missed as it is minute! Along with the ipod itself, you get the headphones, a usb to pc charger and a quick setup guide. Although this seem very little, it is actually enough to get you up and running in next to no time. Advantages: intuitive, stylish, fun, great music player, variety of features, internet function

As my boyfriend's birthday approached, I was panicking as to what to get him as men are a nightmare to shop for and I really wanted to get something exciting. I noticed that he kept borrowing my ipod nano and initially planned to get him one of his own but on the Apple website I saw the ipod touch and worked out that if I got him that then I could steal it and use it!
From the Apple website, the 8GB iPod Touch cost me £199 with free postage and packing and a free optional engraving. I thought this was a reasonable price it was nice and simple to order it online. I chose the free engraving option and this enabled me to have a two line engraving on the back (top centre) of the ipod. Obviously, it is a very good idea to check your spelling at this point as the ipod cannot be returned due your mistakes when...

Apple Ipod Touch 8 GB: Magic at your fingertips!
Advantages: Easy to use, variety of apps to keep you going, stylish and great easy to use layout!
Disadvantages: Keyboard fairly small, which makes it harder for people with thicker fingers to get used to!
