...For anyone seeking an alternative to the popular iPod, the iRiver really does shine above the rest. With a modern design in a variety of colours, you won't be limited to the "sterile" white looking iPod, and can always puchase additional skins to use your iRiver as a fasionable accessory! The sound quality is perfect, with excellent quality headphones included, there is no need to purchase additional sets as with many other brands. Whereas the iPod's battery life lasts 8 hours, the Iriver just carries on, upto 16 hours, allowing you much more listening pleasure. Recharging the battery completely from flat only seems to take a couple of hours - not even long enough for any withdrawal symptoms to take effect! ...Sound Quality Excellent Ease of Use Simple - too simple, needs a little more choices on the menu. Look & Design - looks like an average phone!, not very classy. ...i bought my 6 GB Iriver H10 two years ago for £80 and it is worth every penny. I didn't want to buy an Ipod as i had heard they involved a lot of software and connecting, adn so i opted for the IRiver as it uses Media Player and connects with one cable. The transmission speeds are very good anda full album can be sent over in 2 minutes. i have dropped it several times and the battery has never become loose, imy screen is undamaged and unscratched amd the speed of the IRiver is the same as when i bought it. The reformatting of the IRiver is quick and very easy and the other features of the IRiver are very useful. I use the text for reading short stories and i use the radio to listen to my favourite frequencies. Although the IRIver lacks the games and quiz feature i still believe it is great value for money.... Read review

...This is a great product, I chose it as two of my previous mp3 players had faults. I looked for an mp3 player with a decent sized screen, a good quality screen, a simple to navigate menu, an fm radio and most importantly, good sound quality. The iriver x20 has all of those and much more. These extra features would certainly be ones that I would look for in another mp3 player. These are; expandable memory (micro SD card slot), line in socket, internal speaker, built-in mic. and recordable fm radio. Pros; Great sound quality, internal speaker, good screen, easy to navigate the menu and the abily to record fm radio. Cons; No playlists availible, poor quality headphones, the screen shows fingerprints so it needs wiping, and the scroll wheel atracts dust, but can be avoided by blowing the dust away frequently. ...This is a good quality product that offers good value for money in the very short term. It incorporates most of the latest features and technology that is currently available on the market. Unfortunately it contributes significantly to global warming. After using this product for a few months I have not so far come up against any reliability issues but only time will tell. I therefore would recommend the product. However, always think carefully as to whether you actually really need something before you buy it. We buy so many things nowadays that we don't really need. ...cost of £6. I chose the Deep Red colour as it is the same colour as my old MP3 player and also matches my car. You can also get 4GB, 5GB or 20GB IRiver H10's, but I felt that 20GB was too much both in size and cost and the 6GB suited my needs whilst leaving some extra storage space free for the future. I now have all my music stored in one place on my MP3 player - so much easier than messing around with all the files saved on my PC and various CDs. I bought my IRiver the first week in January - and it has worked excellently ever since. I often make car journeys up to 8 hours in length, and it is so great to have such a wide range of music I can listen to - both in the car and in the hotels where I stay. ...I really wanted an MP3 player ever since the iPod became popular, and for a long time was saving up for an iPod itself before seeing the iRiver 120. It seemed to match the iPod in so many areas and also had a great battery life which I have found to be true to its word. The size of the hard drive is very good at 20 GB, and in fact although I have had it for six months I still haven't found the time to use up even 4GB of this space. I was also very impressed with the ease of use of the iRiver navigation buttons and it took me no longer than a good look at the manual and a couple of minutes and I felt I had been using it for ages! The iRiver looks very good in silver and is complemented by a good remote unit and I have no arguments with the case supplied. The headphones are the only thing I feel that particularly lets this MP3 Player down... Read review

...The iRiver H10 overall is a very good product, has very little faults and I would recommend people who were thinking of buying iPOD's to buy this because I think it is much better value for money. the iRiver H10 comes in 4 colours - Blue, Black, White, Red. It can come in either 4GB, 5GB or 6GB to fill with recordings, photos and music! The design looks simple and stylish. I think the scrolling feature of the H10 is much better than the iPOD designs. Also, this product has an in-built microphone to make recordings which can easily be transferred from the H10 to computer in the normal way - open the H10 from 'My computer' and move to the designated folder. It has preset AM and FM Radio. It has a photo and memo viewer. The iRiver program looks much more better and you can use it much more easily than previous iRiver programs, it reminds... Read review
