...~ A Day In Capri ~ We booked a day trip to capri with a representative from our hotel (we were staying at the Excelsior Vittoria Hotel) in Sorrento this trip cost approx £50.00 per person. We got the hydrofoil from the marina piccolo which takes about twenty to thirty minutes or so. As we approached Capri I was amazed at the view of elegant brightly coloured buildings and tropical trees and plants it really does take your breath away and looks a bit like Balamory with all the beautiful colours and shapes, I think you will see what I mean on the photo's. ~ AnaCapri ~ We got a minibus to AnaCapri which is the island's second (Ana-means other), quieter town with lovely little white houses halfway up the slopes of Monte Solaro (which is the highest point on capri), one of the highlights for me was the scenic...

Little Italy, Big Disappointment

Advantages: Dancing is fun
Disadvantages: Dinner overpriced and bland, expensive

...I went to Little Italy a few months ago with my girlfriend and have mixed feelings about the place. Situated on Soho's Frith Street it is the heart of a really buzzy and lively area of London. An area in which you are spoilt for choice for dining, especially with Italian restaurants, you have to be doing something right to survive. Little Italy is a restaurant, bar and club. In the latter two it succeeds, in the former, not so. As a restaurant, the first thing you'll notice is the abundance of staff waiting to wait on you but somehow unwilling to do so or be helpful. Then there is the food itself, which is grotesquely overpriced at about £30 per head excluding drinks. The bruchetta was like oiled cardboard and our main meat dish favouring better but still fairly bland. So much so I can't even remember what meat it was, probably beef...

Euro Trip

Advantages: Funny Teenagers in Europe

...Euro Trip is one of those teenage movies that actually can?t help but make you laugh. It?s of a similar humour to American Pie, rude, crude and a little wrong but actually a very well made movie and in my opinion very funny. Euro Trip was released in 2004 . It stars your usual bunch of teenage actors that have swamped Hollywood in recent years. Some have gone on to make more of their careers, some haven?t done very much at all. The girl in this movie who goes to Europe is Michelle Trachtenberg and she has been in Buffy and gone on to do quite well. The basic plot of this movie tells the story of Scott Thomas and his three friend?s travels across Europe in search of his pen pal Mieke. Excellent travel system

Advantages: Folding down, multifunctional
Disadvantages: Slightly heavy

...Being a first time Mum, I searched around all the high street shops for a functional and attractive travel system. Out of all the prams this one had the easiest folding down system, even tho it was slightly on the heavy side I could fold it down with 1 hand! The carry cot was great for the first 4 months fitting in to the pram snuggly as the seat folded flat (which I found alot of other prams didn't do) The car seat had a base that made it so easy to take the baby in and out of the car (no messing around with seat belts every time!) It is also very well padded, however it didnt come with cushioned protectors on the straps. When we were taking baby home for the first time, the midwife told us it needed them which were only £5 extra to buy. She's in the buggy part now which has three postions and harnesses which is great. Overall fab...

A bulky travel system

Advantages: Big Shopping basket, Suitable until baby wants to walk, Great for Ramming people out of the way (joke)
Disadvantages: Very Heavy, Bulky and Hard to find somewhere to put the pushchair when not using it.

...I bought this travel system because i thought it looked good, boy was i wrong. Ever since i brought it i hated but my partner wouldnt let me take it back because he liked it. -Car Seat- My son never liked the car seat so it didnt get used much. It scrunched him up to much and even though they say you can use it until the baby is 29lbs my son would fit in it when he got to 20lbs. The only good thing about the car seat was that it was easy to fit into a car and onto the pushcchair to make it a travel system. -Pushchair- As i said above my son didnt like it in the carseat so i had to put him in the pushchair from about 2weeks old, this pushchair is ment to be suitable from birth. ...I love to travel and experience new places. Most I've been to, once has been enough, after all, the world is a big place. But with Sorrento, I never tire of the place.
