Jai Ho! Slumdog Millionaire

Advantages: Great acting and story
Disadvantages: None

...Mahesh Khedekar (Jamal) and Rubina Ali (Latika). These children were picked from the real slums in Mumbai to star in the film. I think they all did a brilliant job and were much better than a lot of professional child actors that I have seen in films. They deserved the fame and recognition they got. I hope that it is true that the producers of the film are helping to provide for them throughout their young lives. There is some good music in the film including the theme song Jai Ho that you have probably heard after the pussycat dolls brought out a version. Overall I thought Slumdog Millionaire was a fantastic film. It has a great story that will keep you interested throughout. The acting is well done by all the actors, making it a worthwhile film to watch. Also posted on Dooyoo....

Love Aaj Kal- An underrated gem!

Advantages: Fantastic concept.very entertaining.decent performances

...If you thought Dhoom was a good film then what will you say about this film. This is better than the origional more action, comedy and songs. This film has a lot of hollywood style special effects high speed chase where hrithik was on rollerblades and abishek was on a chopper with a sniper. This was also the first bollywood film to be shot in brazil this just shows that bollywood will be going places, maybe even compete with hollywood. Disadvantages: I'd appreciate a better ending..

...the background we have The cop played by Abhishek Bachchan(before he grew his beard) romancing his wife Sweety( played by Esha Deol). Jai Dixit gets hot onto the case and starts chasing the lead of the motorbikes which brings him to Ali's garage. Ali is a mechanic by proffession who participates in motorbike races, and is the reigning champion of Mumbai. Though Jai initially believes that Ali could be part of the gang, once Ali's saves him from an unruly gangster area, Jai understands that Ali is just a simpleton,mad about bikes and an everhopeful to have a girl of his own. Meanwhile Ali befriends Sweety and gives us a lot of comedy scenes as Jai is obviously not very happy about it. Master of the game

Advantages: Beautiful men and women; interesting disguises.
Disadvantages: Deviation from reality--trademark Bollywood.

...the Crown. Excellent picturisation and the locale is awesome. Hrithik does a good job of sand skiing in this scene. Then the plot moves to Mumbai where we meet the new ACP Shonali who is portrayed by Bipasha basu, and she is sooooooooo sexy and hot hot. She happens to be an old classmate of Jai Dixit , another ACP. The whole team are on the lookout for an Ace thief who leaves his signature 'A 'across the globe. Jai figures out that the next heist would be in Mumbai.
