Jaipur IPA - sensASIANal!

Advantages: Top quality IPA with a wonderful hoppy flavour
Disadvantages: More than 6 pints and you run out of superlatives!

...My first experience of Jaipur IPA was in March 2007. I was holidaying in a cottage in the Peak District and decided to try a pint in the village local. I do have a penchant for hoppy beers and on taking my first sip realised that here was something special. Several pints later I trudged back down the lane in the snow to the cottage, already looking forward to returning to the same establishment the following evening. That following evening as the barman poured my first pint of Jaipur I wondered whether it would be as superb as my first encounter the previous night as things generally tend to impress most on first visit - I wasn't dissappointed! I asked the barman about the brewery and he told me that the Thornbridge Brewery was in fact only 1/2 mile away in the next village. The next morning I was on to a well-known directory enquiries...

Jaipur - The Pink City

Advantages: Amazing Architecture, Great Silver Stuff and Artifacts, Excellent Cultural Heritage, Hospitable People, Great Food
Disadvantages: Pathetic Traffic, Pollution and Crowd in the Old City, Watch out for a rare Stray Buffalo

...My association with Jaipur goes back a long way. It's incredible that after my first visit in the 1991, i still returned to the city in 1993 as the venue of my first employment. And my customers at the age of 21 were hardcore Indian Bureaucrats. It was an amazing experience and I'll let it remain as a small piece of my history unless you all request for details. Coming back to "Jaipur". My recent visit to the city was in 2001, with my wife on a second honeymoon of sorts. With three days at hand, invitation from a friend and Jaipur only 250 kilometers (that is from New Delhi), I zipped in my Daewoo Cielo to arrive in the town in all off 3.5 hours. Needless to say the new Toll Highway was a delight to drive on. Jaipur is well connected with Rail and regular flights from all major International Airports in India. It's really hot in Summers...

A pair of deliciously different perfumes

Advantages: complimentary perfumes which both smell lovely

Costner strikes lucky on the Open Range

Extend your Range

Advantages: Easy to install and use

...Just before Christmas one of my customers rang me up with a problem which he hoped I could solve for him. A couple of months earlier I have installed a wireless network for him. His home office was in an extension to the main house and he had two computers on desks about ten feet apart. The network I installed was very simple, I replaced his existing ADSL modem with a Belkin Wireless G Router/Modem which I connected via CAT5 cable to the network port on his PC - the router/modem sat comfortably on a shelf next to his desk. Handy for Gandhi!

Advantages: One of the best IPAs around at the moment.
Disadvantages: Far too easy to drink!

I am lucky enough to be able to sample their beers very regularly in a variety of my local pubs. My job as Tasting Panel Chairman for my local branch of CAMRA (CAMpaign for Real Ale) also means that I got a chance to go to the Hall to do tasting notes for their beers. ~~~THE BREWERY. Whirlpool Gas Range

Advantages: Push button...compared to dials
Disadvantages: Whirlpool maintenance men could take a while to fix it

...I actually recieved my Whirlpool Gas Range as an early Christmas gift last year. My soon to be father in law and I had went and looked at Gas Ranges the previous day (Keeping in mind...I didn't know he was going to buy one for me...and of coarse I pointed out almost the most expensive one they had!). Well he must not have minded because I woke up the next morning and the guys were taking it out of their truck and into my home! I have wanted a brand new Whirpool with the push buttons (instead of the old dials) for about two years now! I finally have one. The Chanel Range

...I was talked into buying this skincare when i went into my local Sephora store for my usual supply of Decleor. I was greeted by a helpful French lady who was the specialist over the skincare products. She saw me pondering over the Decleor products and asked if i needed any help. I told her i had come in to purchase my usual cleanser but i wasnt totally happy with how my skin was behaving at that moment, and i wasnt sure i had got the correct product for my skin. She asked me a few questions, and after i had answered them she went to a drawer and pulled out a number of Shiseido skincare samples out for me to try as well as a few Decleor samples she said i might like. Advantages: Stunning scenery and amazing rock formations
Disadvantages: Very hot and awful FLIES

...THE WEST MACDONNELL RANGES: These hills are part of the MacDonnell Ranges which run parallel east and west of Alice Springs and were named after the governor of New South Wales at the time, Sir Richard MacDonnell. The highest peak, Mount Zeil is about 5000ft so they are not huge mountains but as everything else around here is flat they become quite noticeable. The landscape is stunning for particularly its vivid red colour and rock gorges. Some of the rock folds are like geography text book drawings they are so perfect. Simpson?s Gap: We were up at 7am and out for 8am for our trip to the West McDonnell Ranges. Our first stop was Simpson?s Gap which was discovered in 1871 by a surveyor called Gilbert McMinn.
