New Less Than Jake Is Overrated

Advantages: A couple of tracks are quite enjoyable.
Disadvantages: The album on the whole is really rather disappointing.

...'In With The Out Crowd' is the most recently released album from Less Than Jake. At two years old it isn't exactly 'brand new' any more, but the newest nonetheless and will remain so until they release their eighth studio album later this year. It is my least favourite of all of the albums from the Floridian Ska Punk band Less Than Jake and in truth is not one that I hold in particularly high regard at all. That said, it is by no means a bad album, it's just not a great one. The album is really rather lacklustre and none of the tracks present are particularly exciting at all. The first single lifted from this album was 'Everything Is Overrated' for example which in itself is a really average track. Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. He Kills Coppers by Jake Arnott

Advantages: It's a compelling story for those who enjoy bleak themes.
Disadvantages: The multiple voices could be a tad confusing.

...This is a darkly brooding crime novel dominated by a feeling of quiet desperation, a feeling that is generated through the lives of the three lead characters. Jake Arnott does an excellent job of recreating the mood and attitudes of London in 1966, giving the mood an avid, energetic atmosphere. It's an optimistic tone with which to open and one that is squashed pretty quickly. Arnott tells the story through the voices of his three main characters who, although they’re not exactly the good, the bad and the ugly, they each contain a little of those qualities. Frank Taylor is a cop desperate to advance up the ranks of the police force but is all too aware of the corruption within the ranks and can't quite remove himself from the taint; Tony Meehan is a writer, a freelance journalist, but he harbours dark and very disturbing...

"Tall Jake, Take Me Away..."

Advantages: Part novel, part comic, really good, it's intriguing

But a problem arises, when one of their friends disappears and Seth and Kady suddenly starts believing in the rumours, and when they get a copy of Malice, they watch one of their friends die! It's up to Seth and Kady to bring Malice down and try to escape, but is it all that simple, especially when it says on the comic that "You Can't Escape". I really enjoyed this, as you can tell by my rating, it definitely stands out from the crowd for a number of reasons!
