A Review of Jan Fennell's The Dog Listener

Advantages: Some useful training information, a few good insights.
Disadvantages: Jan's life, dog training and points on behavior are all muddled together.

...I have read, and enjoyed, Monty Roberts' book "The Man Who Listens to Horses" (he's the official "horse whisperer"). But this isn't the same calibre of book because it doesn't really seem to know what its purpose is... I ordered this off Amazon.com with an expectation that it might match up to the Monty Roberts book. I have two dogs, one of which is a boisterous puppy and the other a well-behaved dog. Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. Crème de la crème of fitness DVDs

Advantages: Great exercise, great fun, great results
Disadvantages: Too long for beginners

...out in many fitness DVDs. Finally, there is a good long cool down section. Right at the end of the DVD, there is a section which explains carefully how to do some of the more difficult exercises without harming yourself. The location is great, filmed on beaches, in fields, on top of buildings etc. The music is also fabulous, although of course, this does depend on your age - being a teenager in the 80s means I loved it. However, it is not so overpowering that it takes over the routine, so even if you don't like it, it doesn't really matter. Cindy, of course, looks great, and even now, her clothes don't look dated. If Radu appeared in the DVD more, I think he could be quite annoying, but luckily he keeps in the background most of the time and throws out useful comments as and when necessary. Delonghi EC330S Espresso Machine

...I bought the Delonghi EC330S after realising I was slowly emptying my bank account paying for numerous Starbucks' every week (even more after they opened one a two minute walk from my flat). Definite plus point in its appearance, it looks stylish and fits in well in modern kitchens especially. It does make good coffee, and although you need to warm the machine up, once you're used to doing this it really isn't a hassle. Although the previous reviewer recommended stocking up on pods, I would advise anyone to either buy coffee beans and a grinder or buy fresh coffee ground for espresso machines, as pods don't really make the most of having a machine such as this. A disadvantage of having this product are the steam arm is very temperamental and sometimes just doesn't emit much steam (despite being thoroughly cleaned). Also, if...

...De Blob I wanted this game when I first seen it advertise and I got a nice surprise when my friend bought me it. ~ About the Game ~ This wii game is great for all ages , The aim of the game is to paint the town due to the inkies turning everything into black and white , you have to put colour back into the world , you collect paint pots and start painting the buildings. There are also challenges you have to complete so you can move on to the next level but you have a time limit so watch out! There are 3 colours of paint pots , Yellow , Blue and Red - you have to use these to mix colours.
