Blowing through the JASMIN of my mind

...After a long, and I mean LONG, drive through Serbia, we eventually arrived in the outskirts of Sofia just as darkness began to descend. A bit of a blessing really, Picturesque it ain't. Our hotel was just off the ring road...bit of a misnomer really. Oh, it rings the city true enough, but road seems like a far-fetched description of the pot-holed suicide-run we found ourselves bumping and grinding along on. Not a problem. We had prebooked the Jasmin Hotel and all we had to do was follow the instructions I had printed off with the booking confirmation...only I hadn't. After several abortive forays off the 'ring road', things were looking pretty desperate but at last we got the right turn-off and found our digs. Rubies and Jasmine

...I am concentrating this review however on the Ruby Jasmine fragrance. I had been using the Black Diamond and Lotus flower but I found the smell was a bit too overpowering for me so I decided to try another variety. The bottle was packaged amazingly and did look really nice. You could tell it was Lenor as the name was written on it and it did look a bit like their other products but I would say the bottle was designed more like an upmarket perfume bottle. The Ruby Jasmine bottle has a lovely picture of what I assume to be a white jasmine flower on the front with a lovely big ruby next to it sparkling away! The bottle was a gorgeous ruby red colour and an almost jewel looking colour to it. The tag line of this softener says it is meant to be elegant and sophisticated. Well, going by the bottle, this was definitely true to start with...

Advantages: You get good music, 2 cd´s, other is cd-rom with screensave and 3 music videos and one live performance.
Disadvantages: Songs can sound the same as others

...Blümchen has gone real real far thoe she´s only like 17 years old. I like her music cause her songs are so cheerfull and make me move. They are fun to listen even I don´t understan one word of german but the beat is so touching that I don´t think anyone can keep it still while listening to this. She has few slow songs too and they are beautiful as the other songs are moving. I "fell in love" with her songs the very first time I heard them. But You "have" to like electronic music to like blümchen. Or so I suppose.. :) But anyhow, if you ever have a change then you should at least listen to blümchen. Jasmin has the best of Blümchens songs and it includes music videos and screensavers and a neckles....

Advantages: Makes your skin feel very soft, gorgeous smell
Disadvantages: Difficult to get last of the product out of the bottle when it starts running out

...There are around 10 different Korres Body Milks including the unusual Coriander scent and Spearmint. They all say the same thing on the bottle; "The combination of provitamin B5, Shea butter and Jojoba oil enhances the suppleness of the skin, while also providing long-lasting hydration. Active Aloe®, extremely rich in vitamin C, vitamin E, Zinc and antioxidant enzymes, supports the immune system of the skin." I have tried Jasmine, Vanilla Cinammon, Bitter almond and mint tea, all of which are GORGEOUS, and the reason I have tried four already is because this product is addictively good! The scents are subtle but very much linger with a light perfume. ...BOLD 2 IN 1 Infusions Ruby Jasmine is a great washing detergent with a softener included in it. The product is by a well known brand and can easily be spotted on the shelves of the supermarkets. Product: The product is a simple washing powder and softener in one, the one i purchased is a 2.470kg and says it is suitable for 26 standard washes, however ive managed to got approximately 30 out of mine, it is a fine powder with pink bits in it. I found that the powder is finer than normal washing powders. It smells fabulous and a little is definately better when using this. It is just as effective as any of the other bold products. The packaging indicates that in hard water areas you should use 270ml of powder for heavy soiling on clothes and 195mls on normal soil. Advantages: Fragrances the skin well.
Disadvantages: Dryer skins may need more moisurisation than this.

...What I like about this lotion is the fact that it really does scent your skin - some body lotions smell nice in the bottle but once on your skin the fragrance isn't very strong. This one however fragrances the skin almost as much as a perfume. Use with other Neroli Jasmin products for a good effect. What I also like is the fact that it is easy to apply - body butters as opposed to lotions have been popular lately but I find the thicker consistencies of the butters mean that you need to work it around in your hands a bit to 'loosen it up', otherwise it doesn't spread over your skin as well. But this lotion has a really good coverage, meaning that you don't need to use too much. It also quite quickly absorbed so you can get dressed as soon as you have applied it if you don't use too much. It left my skin quite soft although not as soft...
