Jean Paul Got To Have!

Advantages: Great long lasting smell, nice bottle

...I was bought this aftershave for Christmas this year by my girlfriend. I liked it so much; I thought I would share my opinion of it with Ciao. Packaging Jean Paul Gaultier 'Le Male' comes in a silver tin with the 'Jean Paul Gaultier' label embossed on the front. You can pull the bottom of the tin off, and the bottle of aftershave sits in a stand on the base, which is attached to the base of the tin. Inside the top section of the tin is a white plastic section which holds the top of the bottle square inside the tin, once the bottle is back inside which stops it from rattling around and possibly being smashed inside. The bottle itself is typical of Jean Paul Gaultier aftershave and comes in their famous body shaped bottle. This particular bottle is in the theme of a sailor. Nausea - Jean-Paul Sartre

Advantages: Thought-provoking and brimming with intellectualism
Disadvantages: Very slow and relatively annoying to read

...The first thing to note about this book is that it is very heavily philosophical in parts, as you may well expect from the 'grand-daddy' of existentialism. Its' not jean-pauls it's mine!

Advantages: Unususal botle, lovely fragrance

...When i was younger i worked for Boots the chemist as a team leader. One of the perks we had was every now and then we would be given a perfume tester as a reward or at christmas as a thankyou. I was lucky , i had a lot of the new ones and my family were constantly stealing them! Then in 1993 this one came in and i was hooked. This was around the time that designers were staring to realize the finacial potential of the perfume market and were targeting a younger clientel. CK., Tommy Hilfigure, DKNY and others. These ones were very popular but i found them all more or less the same, Very sweet and sickly. But the Jean-Paul one was so different and a lot more subtle. It is a very sexy and seductive fragrance, and the other half loves it on me too!! It has now become my signiture perfume and hasn't dated with age. HISTORY...

...Jean Paul Gautiere Le Male (?JPG?) is one of my favourite fragrances of all time. I was first made aware back at college after being offered a tester in a hypermarche on an excursion to France. As soon as I got back to England I had to buy some and I have not looked back since. ****Packaging**** JPG has the funkiest bottle of all time. Forget about Hugo Boss and the spherical bottle (the actual name escapes me), forget about the special edition Issey Miyake Summer this is the best bottle of them all. The bottle is a man?s torso and thighs, minus the arms. The pecs are a bit too large and look like ?moobs? and there really is no need to include a codpiece. Here amongst the smelly’s and scented things, I discovered an unusually packaged aftershave named simply “Le Male”. Highly sceptical about its camp exterior, I eventually agreed to purchase a bottle at the very reasonable price of around £30.00. Pleasantly surprised both by the price and packaging (the trademark Jean Paul Gautier tin) I left for home to test my new product. The outer packaging consisting of a steel tin is both practical and aesthetically pleasing to touch and eye. Upon opening the product, I discovered that the base of the tin contained a plastic clip that secures the glass bottle safely to the tin. ...On smelling Jean Paul Gautier is is hard to actually describe what kind of smell wanders up my nostrils. Although i couldn't answer that it was immediately on my Christmas wish list as my aftershave for 2001. Eventually, Wwhen crimbo came around i was thrilled to find that for a gift i had been given the box set which comes which roll on deoderant, can't go wrong! This is an aftershave which i find having to not put gallons on as it is very strong even with the smallest of squirts. My feeling of the fragrence is one of sweetness put not being an expert that is open to disscusion, but it really seems to catch the noses of my mates and other fellow female friends and my girlfriend finds herself very attached when i have it on! Thats one big advantage straight away then! She always tells me that when you cannot smell your aftershave but...
