...Jeffrey Archer - A prisoner of birth. This is a fantastic book, and not having read any of Jeffrey Archer books, i was reluctant to even give this a go. I was wrong, this book was gripping in every way and I couldnt put it down. I also didnt want it to end and read the last few chapters quite slowly. Without giving to much away, this book is based around a character called Danny Cartwright, Danny proposed to his love of his life without nowing that day would become one of the worst days of his life, he was arrested and charged with the murder of his best friend Bernie who was also his girlfriends brother. The case finally goes to trial where the prosecution witnesses consist of a Barrister, popular actor, an aristocrat and the youngest partner of an extremly popular law firm. Hollands Pies Are Pleasing

...Holland's pies are produced in their North of England Bakery at Baxenden Lancashire, I'm Midlands girl brought up in Stoke-on-Trent, and have been brought up on a rival local Bakery pies and pasties, but over the past few years Holland's have been slowly but surely creeping into our store's and chip shops. I was a bit hesitant to try them at first, scared of change etc, but I should never of worried. Their pies are really tasty from the pastry exterior through to their superbly filling interior. Very traditional looking products, I've yet to have one badly baked, they always look pleasing to the eye, and smell like fresh home cooked baking should do. The fillings regardless of what you choose, from Meat and Potato, Steak, or Meat puddings etc, are always full of tasty succulent meats, rich gravy and soft potato that melts...

Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. ...I would just like to write a review on Jools Holland Best of Friends, a CD with a DVD bonus pack on the king of rhythm and blues. We all know of him from his specials at New Year, along with the numerous shows that he does during the year. On safari in deepest, darkest Holland

...Setting the Scene *************** It's a warm Sunday morning in September, around 9.30 am. Behind us a series of traditional African round huts with thatched roofs separate us from the safari park beyond. Small children are swinging excitedly on the fibreglass tusks of a large grey model elephant as we wait for the park to open. Their parents are watching strange peacock-like birds strut up and down and the cameras are clicking away, practicing for the bigger beasts beyond the gates. We can pick up a few words uttered by the excited children in a strange guttural accent - oliphanten, shimpanzay. Is it Afrikaans? Are we in South Africa? What is this safari park? But no, we're in Holland, the language is Dutch and we are waiting for the Beekse Bergen safari park to open. The park is about half an hour from Eindhoven airport...

Holland and Barrett Know Best

Advantages: A great way to ease skin that has been irritated by the sun

...If you enjoy exploring natural or homeopathic remedies, how they work and what they contain then Holland and Barrett is the place for you. I often pay them a visit, the sales assistants are pretty genned up on the stores products and more often than not if you give them some background information then one of the staff will be able to point you in the right direction. I will be the first to agree with anyone who says that natural healing doesn`t come cheap but it far outweighs having to take prescribed medicine if it is something that you can easily and safely treat yourself. Naturally if there are any concerns at all then you should always visit your own GP. Our problem is that the Other Half is very fair skinned and every year without fail as soon as the British summer sun starts to shine he develops patches of pink scaly skin...

I Didn't Want to Leave Lovely Holland House

Advantages: Comfortable, clean, not far from station or city centre. Very high standard of rooms.
Disadvantages: Poor TV reception, terrible tea at breakfast!

...The Mercure chain owns two hotels in Bristol. One is the Brigstow in Welsh Back, a busy area for nightlife right beside the river. The second is the Holland House Hotel and Spa, only five minutes walk from the Brigstow but in a quieter spot on Redcliffe Hill. Choosing the quieter option, I stayed for a Saturday night at the four star Holland House in July 2009. First Impressions After travelling by train, I had a walk of around seven minutes from Bristol Temple Meads station to Holland House. Be aware if you are taking your car the hotel enforces a parking charge of £10 per 24 hours. This is quite expensive in my opinion and would add substantially to your final bill if you were staying a few nights. Check-in is after 2pm., and on showing my confirmation letter to the receptionist I was dealt with very politely...
