This is a fantastic book, and not having read any of Jeffrey Archer books, i was reluctant to even give this a go. I was wrong, this book was gripping in every way and I couldnt put it down. I also didnt want it to end and read the last few chapters quite slowly.
Without giving to much away, this book is based around a character called Danny Cartwright, Danny proposed to his love of his life without nowing that day would become one of the worst days of his life, he was arrested and charged with the murder of his best friend Bernie who was also his girlfriends brother.
The case finally goes to trial where the prosecution witnesses consist of a Barrister, popular actor, an aristocrat and the youngest partner of an extremly popular law firm.
Danny is finally sentenced to 22 years in...

...I like movies and I like freebies, so when you get offered both in one swoop you?re bound to accept! I used my two week free trial with this company and remained with them for a couple of monthsbefore moving on to try many other companies free trials (and winning a new DVD player on Tesco DVD rental site on their free trial offer). I then had an email from DVDs 365 asking me to go back, and offering me a free DVD if I did so. I had just left Tesco (with my new DVD player) so I chose to go back with them.

Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54
Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.
...At first I wasn't convinced by up-scaling DVD player technology but was persuaded after reading an article in "What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision" magazine. Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied.
On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. All the components such as cables, remote and manuals were well presented in their own protective plastic bags, to keep them protected. The player...

...Had you noticed my dear chow friends how long I have been away for? Well I've had a lot of time on my hands, and therefore done a lot of reading, so expect a veritable glut of reviews, the first of which has to be 'Middlesex', winner of the 2003 Pulitzer prize for fiction.
You know what's it's like at airports, those couple of hours in departures, shuffling aimlessly from shop to shop, hoping to magically pass the time. I always end up parting with cash in the bookstore, because somehow it's justified when you're off on holiday. This time I dithered over the lovely stacks of books, and ended up with 'Ignorance' by Kundera, 'Platform' by Houellbecq, and 'Middlesex' by Jeffrey Eugenides.

...I bought this book very cheap while studying at university to give me something different to do. I really enjoyed this book and have read it twice over. This is volume 1 of 3 (i think). I have the first 2 and this is the best of them.
I don't really know much about Jeffrey Archer, or anything really. The way it is written though makes you feel quite sympathetic towards his rough time in prison. Whether it was deserved or not i don't really have an opinion on.
We hear alot about todays prisoners being better treated than some of the poorer people in life. This books paints a different picture.
It is very well detailed and structured with the days seperated and the time line being very clear. It is a very easy read and i could hardly put the book down. It is one of these books that is so easy to read i listened to my ipod while reading...

...My recent quest for FREE DVD hire I visited and many DVD web sites that offered a free trial. Now call me tight (no that wasn?t an invite), but I like bargains and freebies and am not ashamed to say so.
My quest took me to enough sites to hire DVDs for about four months so far (with plenty to come too). My latest free DVD site also happens to be the best I have tried for several reasons (see rest of op); the site in question is Blockbuster.co.uk.
Other sites that I have had free rentals from and then cancelled have all been similar, two weeks free trial with two DVD?s per time ? which in effect gives you about four free DVD?s. With Blockbuster?s things are different slightly ? which add a great deal of benefit to us the customer. Firstly, you get FOUR whole weeks free rental, which equates to at double the length of time most...

wrongly commited and wrongly released

A prisoner of birth tells the story of Danny a mechanic who is accused and convicted of murdering his best friend, who also happens to be his fiancees brother. The only problem is that he did not do it, but all the witnesses said he did. Danny is sentenced to 22 years and sent to Belmarsh prison, lucky for Danny he finds himself under the wing of an ex army officer who has a remarkable affect on Danny's future.
To cut a long story short Danny is wrongly released early in place of the ex army officer. I will not tell you how that happens as it would spoil the story for you. Danny is now free to not only plot his revenge, but to also to have the proper murderer brought to justice.
