A Hanseatic experience

Advantages: Beautiful hotel in an excellent location
Disadvantages: a little dated in decor

...When deciding to visit the beautiful German Hanseatic city of Lubeck, we obviously had to find accommodation that could do a number of things: 1. Offer parking as we were driving there 2. Offer a room big enough for two adults, two children and one baby 3. Be in a good location in the heart of the city 4. Fit in with the typical Hanseatic style of the city This had to be a hotel where we could relax and enjoy after a day of driving and that could provide us with the comfort of a good nights sleep to aid us in our long journey up to Sweden the next day too. Review of Ringhotel Jensen, Lübeck

Narrator in a coma (I know, I know)

Advantages: Gripping.
Disadvantages: Slightly surreal.

Advantages: Entertaining, tons of action, great special-effects.
Disadvantages: Cheesy cars, flimsy storyline.

Do What You Are Good At, DRIVE!

Advantages: excellent effects, stunts, storyline and acting
Disadvantages: Very brutal and violent

...Jensen Ames returns home from work with the news for his wife that they have all lots their jobs, she comforts him and tells him to go and wash up ready for tea. As Jensen is washing and his baby girl is sleeping in bed his wife gets murdered and he is also attacked. When he wakes up he finds the police surrounding him and he is instantly arrested and framed for her murder. We move to 6 months later when Jensen is in a high security prison and being asked by the warden to take the place of Frankenstein in the Death Race which she runs. Jensen at first refuses but Warden Hennessey talks him around by telling him that as Frankenstein has already won 4 races he only needs to race and win one to secure his freedom and get his daughter back. Advantages: Realistic story, dilemmas you can relate to, sarcastic humour, famous special guests
Disadvantages: May upset people who have experienced similar problems

...Ricky Gervais' second sitcom, starring himself, as Andy Millman, Stephen Merchant as Darren Lamb - Andy's agent, and Ashley Jensen as Maggie Jacobs - Andy's best friend. Maggie and Andy are extras in various films and television shows who are desparate to find a big role in a film. Andy has great ambition - and the series reveals his struggle in finding one. It shows the diffiiicult and depressed lives some extras have, whilst being a hilarious comedy at the same time. Special guests feature in each episode, including Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Stiller. Episodes are 30 minutes long, six in the series. Extra features provide an extra laugh; including a 'making of' and Stephen Merchant's video diary. Definitely wwworth buying both for the comedy and the story line....
