...unworthy motors,' Heaven and Hell' is likely to hold your interest throughout it's 72 minute duration.
This one cost around £14.99, which I thought was slightly on the expensive side, but I could still forgive it for that, which incidentally, is more forgiving than Jeremy is to some of the cars!

Advantages: A hilarious take on the world Disadvantages: Disadvantages??!
..."The World According To Clarkson" is a hilarious compilation of articles taken from JeremyClarkson's weekly column in the Sunday Times from the beginning of 2001 through to the end of 2003.
...Oh, and don't think just because it's Clarkson that's it filled with merry quips on cars, cars and more cars...it's not, so don't be deterred, and even those that love his work with BBC's Top Gear, you'll want to read on too...
As the blurb on the back of the books states, "Clarkson has seen rather more of the world than most..." but with that in mind, the first of his 81 articles focuses on him being stuck at home, bored out of his mind due to a bank holiday!!
His use of linguistic techinques in writing - you know, metaphors and similes etc, are indentical to his presenting style on Top Gear, which is a pleasant thing to note when...
Advantages: A hilarious read. A large variety of subject matter, brilliantly used for humourous effect. Disadvantages: Best read in short burts. Dry humour may wear thin after prolonged reads.
...Another classic book from JeremyClarkson's latest series. Clarkson takes on southerners, America and even Jesus in this barrage of dry wit, intelligent satire and downright mockery of the world seen though they eyes of an avid motorist.
The short sharp bursts of humour are taken from his newspaper columns dating back to 1999. So as to keep you, the reader, interested, Clarkson and his Editors have arranged the short 'chapters' to give a mix of topics. From an all out assault on Norfolk, which could be mistaken for Clarkson looking for a fight with an entire Town, to a review of a new car, veiled in more satirical assaults on the roads and cultures of the country he is in, and why if he ruled the country he would do things differently.
Born To Be Riled is, in my humble opinion, best read three or four chapters at a time when you...
Advantages: Very funny, huge variety of subject matter, lots of book for your money, informative, passionate Disadvantages: Doesn't suit being read in one go, topics recycled and stale towards end
...Born To Be Riled is good. It's probably not JeremyClarkson's best book, but it certainly makes for great reading, either as a bedtime book, where the short columns are ideal for a quick spell, on the commute or on holiday. It will certainly make you laugh, and the variety is great. It's just missing that little something.
The best, and in some cases worst, thing about Born To Be Riled is the fantastic scope of subject matter. Clarkson writes about anything and everything. This does help keep what I'm failry sure is his longest book, fresh and new, keeping you interested. At time though, pretty much everyone will come across a column on something they aren't really interested in, and while the variety is enormous, eventually they begin to repeat. It isn't a killer flaw, and there's definitely enough content for the price, but it does...
Advantages: very funny book with some strong views Disadvantages: a re-print of articles from the sunday times
...Having read his first book 'The World According to Clarkson' and being an avid watcher of top gear, I felt obliged to read the second edition of JeremyClarksons book. I found the first book really enjoyable to read and extremely funny in parts and this book is the same. I especially like the fact that because it is simply a culmination of his articles written in his sunday times column, that you can read a few and then put the book down until you feel like going back to it again. I found it a great book to take to work when you have a few spare minutes during you're lunchbreak or something.
The only quite irritating aspect of the book is that he has chosen to write it in a style which could be direct speech. By this I mean that as you read you can almost imagine Clarkson just saying the words and after a while thats exactly what...
Advantages: it gives a short, informative view of his favourite machines over history Disadvantages: The writing style is quite repetative making it hard to read in one sitting
...When it comes to the newspapers on a Saturday I often find that I now buy the Sun for one simple reason, Clarkson's column. The Top Gear presenter's weekly column is certainly the best thing in the weekend papers and perhaps the only reason to buy the Sun. So when I was walking through my local Tesco and spotted his latest book for only £3.93 it seemed like a purchase I was destined to make. I've got a couple of his previous books somewhere in the house but never actually got round to reading them but with "I Know You've Got Soul" I decided to start reading it there and then.
Within his latest book Clarkson has gone through the history books and selected a number of machines that over the years have really captured his imagination. The book covers all sorts of machinery from the mythical Millennium Falcon to the Submarine and even...
Advantages: short chapters can be read easily, varied topics Disadvantages: clarkson humour can be offensive
...I'm a huge fan of JeremyClarkson and watch his show Top Gear on BBC2 regularly. My first thoughts when purchasing this book where that it would be reviews of cars or other motors. I was surprised, yet not disappointed. Inside I found an array of Short articles. Covering wide spread topics about many current affairs when they were published.
The articles listed in this book were written for his column in the Sunday Times during the period of 7th January 2001 to 14th December 2003. These include topics such as his experience on a trip to Austria, music taste, the Concorde and personal experience of hunting foxes. Some of the material in his book may be found offensive, my advice is only read what you want to, as the book is comprised of many little articles it wouldn't matter if all the articles weren't read.
From watching his...
Advantages: Humour, Good Points Disadvantages: None
.... If some of his more serious points were implemented then certain areas of the country would be better of for it.
There are numerous laugh out loud moments in this book and I don't remember going more than 2 chapters without having to stop reading for a few minuted because of the laughter. There is a chapter in the book where he talks about the homeless, I honestly couldn't stop laughing.
I read one of the first 2 volumes a while back when I was younger, but don't really remeber it and probably didn't understand quite alot about it.
For that reason I will be going back and reading the first two volumes because this book was so good.
This is a must read for fans of JeremyClarkson.
If you don't like Clarkson and generally disagree with his views then this book is not for you. However, if you are in between ( there must be...
Advantages: If you like cars you'll love it Disadvantages: Clarkson- If you're from the states
...I have not seen any of the other Clarkson DVDs so I can't compare them, if I do I may add a bit.
What It's About
This DVD is all about cars If you don't like cars then don't get this DVD, although if you like JeremyClarkson it can be quite a laugh. The DVD compares cars from Europe and the United States and the testing goes on in the States at a racetrack. The cars tested are from the States and are some of the best that the USA produces compared to some of Europe's cars in the mid-range. We are talking massive cars of immense power and good street cred although some of them are just good for show it seems. Not everybody buys a car for its capabilities so the way it looks and runs and its reputation comes into play quite a bit. The Mustang and Viper get a showing and I was always willing Clarkson to crash one of the very expensive...
Advantages: can be funny Disadvantages: not much written about the actual cars
...JeremyClarkson is an English broadcaster and writer, specialising mainly in motoring, writing columns in the Sunday Times and the Sun, and also presenting Top Gear.
I find JeremyClarkson's ways of describing cars like no other making even the rubbish of cars sound like Bugatti Veyron's. His views on life I also find particularly interesting, in which he is very straight to the point saying whatever he feels without a care in the world.
Anyway his book: Don't Stop Me Now. I was a little unsure what to expect in this book, given the fact that I had not read any other of his
Flicking through, you're gifted with a range of pretty car pictures ranging from the Hyundai Accent, to the Aston Martin v8 vantage, although a book isn't a book without its words, so then I began reading it.
"To Everyone except John Prescott". Sniggering...
