Jerry Springer the Flopera

Advantages: The music is good
Disadvantages: It went way over my head!

...I was doing a spot of Christmas shopping in HMV, and as ever ended up buying something for myself rather than a present! The "Jerry Springer the opera" DVD grabbed my attention since it was only £3.99. When this was on at the theatre I heard some really good reviews about it, but since I don't live near London anymore I don't really get the chance to go to the theatre much so wasn't able to see it. I know that watching something on DVD can't ever begin to compare with the theatre, but I thought it would at least give me an idea of what I missed out on (or not)! I was also intrigued to watch a musical rated an "18" certificate. I thought the start of the musical was promising, and the music tunes catchy. Advantages: Easy and quick to make, look cute, cheap
Disadvantages: Didn't like the taste, not enough mixture to make 12

...I was going to stay at my friends flat for the weekend so I decided I would make her a little something to say thank you. Now I am usually all for home baking, and I was going to make her cup cakes from scratch, but when I was in Morrisons I saw this really cute baking set to make Tom and Jerry strawberry flavoured cup cakes and I thought I would make these instead since the picture on the packet looked really cute. The cake mix is from the company 'Green's'. The cake mix set comes in a green box with a large picture of Tom and Jerry on the front of it, with Jerry throwing one of the strawberry cup cakes at Tom. On the front it states that the pack makes 12 cakes. ...I knew Tom & Jerry more than 15 or 20 years ago! These two creatures visited me regularly on my television. Now it comes again to visit my Son. My son is a loyal audience. I sometimes enjoy watching the cartoon-films, too. I am sure that not only my son and I love these films from Walt Disney. I have ever heard an issue that once most Americans were so impressed by Jerry that they were not willing to kill rats or mice. ...I think among all the cartoon series that have ever been made Tom and Jerry is the most loved and most successful. I love the never ending Chase and the comedy in these serials.However much he tries,Tom is never able to catch Jerry, who is too clever and cunning .And the situations are so very comical.
