Is Jessica Alba seeing things?

Advantages: I think it's a good film (I haven't seen the original)
Disadvantages: I imagine that it is a pointless remake, but I haven't seen the original

...much prefer the original Japanese film versions of the Ring (or Ringu), the Grudge, and their sequels, I still did enjoy the American remakes, even if I couldn?t really see the point in them since they were so similar in storyline ? I suppose some people just can?t get to grips with reading subtitles, in which case they?re missing out! Anyway, I haven?t seen the original version of ?The Eye? (although I might well in the future), and I had thought that the trailers looked good when it was first out, in 2008. A superb small room 16" LCD FREEVIEW HDTV from ALBA!!!!!!!!!

Advantages: Small, well built, great picture and sound, HDMI, Freeview and loads other connections.

Alba DVD 62 - You get what you pay for...

Advantages: Cheap, small, easy to use
Disadvantages: Over time stops playing recorded discs

...I purchased a Alba DVD62XI from Argos about a year ago as I wanted a cheap DVD player than played recorded DVDs. This is the cheapest I could find (based on other reviews that it played copied discs). The DVD player worked fine for about 3 or 4 months before I started having issues. After that time the DVD player began skipping and lost the ability to read recorded discs. Nothing had happened in that time (The player had not been dropped or even moved), so I am still baffled to this day as to why it happened. I know someone else who has the exact same player and they have had the same issues, although it took a little bit longer to happen. Although the apartments are simply a 5-10 minute walk from The Strip (where there are many cafes, bars and little shops), it is a fairly quiet area, with little to no disturbance.
