...JESSOPS, like many retailers and high street based ones in particular, have been experiencing a particularly tough time in busines recently and yet, in 'my' local branch, MAIDSTONE in kent, they have always been very polite and extremely helpful. I wouldn't say that I am a regular customer. They certainly don't 'know' me and therefore do not give me any sort of 'preferential' treatment. However, whenever I do shop there, they seem to be very helpful and assist as much as is humanly possible in providing me with a good, fast, reliable and polite service with very good value for money. They have even assisted in pro-actively seeking out lowest 'price matches' and actually beating (not just matching), the best genuine advertised price for the items I have been considering purchasing. Jessops in-store digital photo printing

Advantages: good choice of photo sizes, good prices for next day printing
Disadvantages: no instant printing (at least one hour for most items)

The options for size include all of the standard photograph sizes such as 6x4 inches, 7x5 inches, 8x6 inches, 9x6 inches, 10x8 inches, 12x8 inches etc. Printing can be done in as little as one hour but the prices are cheaper if you order them for the next day. Prices are also cheaper if you print more photos in the same transaction (there's usually a large reduction in price if you get more than 50 photo's printed at once). If you are a member of Jessops Picture House online store you can also upload the pictures from the machine to your account. The prints that I have had done there have been exceptionally good quality with vibrant colours and on good quality paper. The first time I got pictures developed through those machines were about 4 to 5 years ago and the colours on those prints...

Advantages: All the features of the iphone but without the massive price tag

THE 8GB MUSIC PLAYER.

Advantages: LARGE MEMORY, SOUND OUTPUT AND LONG BATTERY LIFE.
Disadvantages: : FRAGILE IN LOOKS.

Advantages: Willing to Haggle, Excellent Service All Round.

Advantages: Stylish, easy to use, large storage, good features, wi-fi

...Having gone from a normal 4GB ipod to an 8GB itouch, I was pleasantly surprised with the major difference from the normal ipod to itouch. The itouch offers the users with an array of different features I never thought could be possible for a MP3/4 player. Its Wi-Fi capabilities allow its users to keep up-to-date with the latest news, music and events by using the built in web browser to search for any categories the users pleases. 8GB Ipod Touch

Advantages: Wii-fi support, touch screen display, ease of use
Disadvantages: quite pricey, output through headphones just, unless you by a docking station

...One things for sure Ipods are getting more popular by the day as more features and different designs are being introduced to these almost everyday necessities. I purchased the 8gb version 3 months or so back and ive been really please with it. It stands out from the rest as it has a large screen for viewing videos and photo's, but not only that it has the built in touch sensitive display which is very easy to use and im sure very popular. It has also introduced the new wii-fi so that you can connect to a wireless connection whether it be from the comfort of your home or in a coffee shop etc. when you go to i-tunes ur music and files can be transferred to your ipod within seconds though videos take a bit longer. All in all id say this product is worth investing in if you have a spare £180....

I used to work in Jessops (post graduating, loans up to my elbows and those necessary bills to pay, then your dignity has to tumble), and although I have fond memories of my time there, I plead with you to think twice before you pop into your local store to get your films developed. Disadvantages: Very poor quality prints

...In the past I have been happy with Jessops developing my films, but having recently had two films developed at the Cambridge branch I wont be going back again. Both films had a significant number of prints with white lines on one edge because the machine had either mis-cut or mis-printed them. On closer inspection I also noted that EVERY print had cropped a significant area (at least 10%) from around the edge of the photo (c.f. the negatives). On complaining the shop agreed to reprint the films for the white lines, but dismissed my other complaint ("oh yes we do crop film prints" - well thanks!!!) The sets of reprints were incomplete. Therefore they had to do the missing photos again. When they came back, some of them exhibited white lines again, exactly the same as the first time (contrary to the shop's excuse that something...
