This handy little device enables your Canon flashgun to be triggered remotely off-camera without cables. Simply attach it to the hotshoe of your
flash and when the unit detects a
flash firing it automatically fires your flashgun at the exact same time. For example, you can mount your flashgun and this device on a tripod a few metres from your subject. You can then take a photograph using your camera's built in
flash and your flashgun will fire at the exact same moment to give more light or additional lighting effects. The little unit also has a male PC socket so you can connect it to other devices with a standard
flash lead if required. It has a screw thread on its base so you can mount it on a tripod or lighting stand. A great little accessory for every camera bag! 20 metre range when used indoors, shorter range outdoors. IMPORTANT: This device is designed to function with
flashes dedicated to the Canon EOS system only. That includes Canon Speedlites and other Canon dedicated
flashes from the likes of Metz, Nissin, Sunpak
