Advantages: good rates and destinantions from local airports Disadvantages: baggage charges and no rout changes allowed
...I have just recently flown with jet2 for a couple of trips - one to alicante from manchester and one to rome fumicino from manchester. As they were very close together i thought i would share my views as obviously two very different routes and staff were different on the different routes too.
Booking:
The jet2 website was very easy to use - i find most low cost airline websites are really and there isn't anything different about the jet2 website that makes it any easier to use than any other of the low cost airlines sites but i would say it is one of the more attractive looking ones. Lovely and bright with an array of offers highlighted and an easy to use search tool on the left hand side of the screen - just pop the details in it asked for such as date, departure airport and arrival airport, along with number of passengers and away...

...I you have never heard of Jet Blue, don?t be too surprised. They are an American Domestic airline who flies out of their hub at JFK airport in New York.
Why we ended up flying with them was more by chance than any degree of forward planning. As always, there?s a story attached to this so I?ll start from the beginning!
We were in New York on a buying trip for my friends business and we needed to source the products we were buying and then fly to the appropriate place to finalise the deal. Because we had no idea of where we were going to be from one day to the next we had to make our flight reservations normally the day before taking off.

...We booked a flight to Italy Marco Polo Airport, using Easy Jet on line. What a nightmare!
Firstly they have a policy that they must give 14 days notice if they change your flight.
Well guess what they changed our return flight, they did give us more than 14 days notice, however this did not stop us from losing a day of our holiday as we were given an earlier flight.
To ensure that all deatils were correct i printed off confirmation of the flight amendment and our departure flight.
When we arrived at Bristol airport to check in for our oward flight we were told that our outward flight had changed also!!! we were 24hrs early! which means that we had now lost 2 days of our holiday!!
After much discussion we were given a flight from Gatwick, only problem we had to make our own way there from Bristol!!!

The band themselves had a very subdued debut on the UK music scene with thier songs getting little radio play. In fact two years ago very few people even knew the band existed at all, but that all changed with one vodaphone advert. Jet's reworking of the base line from Iggy Pop's "Lust for Life" led to the creation of "Are you going to be my girl?" one of the best guitar songs ever written. ...This isn?t one of the original Thomas stories by the Rev. W. Awdry, but is based on the characters which he created.
?Thomas and the Jet Engine? is a very sturdy hardbook book which measures 15.8 x 15.4 x 1.6 cm. The cover is bright blue with a picture of Gordon looking disapprovingly down at Thomas on the front.
Each page of the book has a small amount of writing and a bright colour picture taken from the television series. The pictures really seem to keep children interested in the story.

...I've been living in France for the last year so I've made quite a few trips back and forth to the UK and have used EasyJet quite a few times. I'd heard both good and bad things about them so I wasn't sure what to expect. But I decided to go for them based on two factors, mainly price and destinations.
Note: my flights with EasyJet have all been Newcastle - Charles de Gaulle and vice versa.
Destinations
Many low cost airlines have limited destinations or go to out-of-town airports, fortunately EasyJet doesn't seem to. I'm only aware of 3 budget airlines flying to the UK from CDG: EasyJet, flybe and BMI Baby. I flew with flybe once and they were great, but they only fly direct to Manchester from CDG which isn't very convenient. BMI Baby only flies to the East Midlands.

What is a jet boat and how does it work?
You may be wondering what jet boating is. Imagine, if you will, a cross between a hovercraft and a motor boat that can carry up to 28 passengers. These are very rapid boats that can operate in very shallow water and move very close to obstacles. ...I have flown with easy jet a few times without tomany problems but my last experience was not so good, and left me less than impressed with this company.
We were going on a family holiday to Bulgaria to spend new year away.
We arrived at Gatwick airport two hours before check in as requested. It was 4.30 am and as we dragged our limbs through the massing crowds of Gatwick airports south terminal we suddenly relised we couldnt find our check in desk.
After searching the boards to no luck we stopped an asked a member of staff who told us that the check in was now at the North terminal instead, so we jumped on the North terminal train and off we went.
After finally checking we found out that there was a two hour delay for our easy jet flight to the airport in Sofia. Being brits we looked at this as not time wasted but time gained...
