...Jet are the Aussie rockers who are rapidly earning themselves an expanding fanbase due to catchy, toe tapping numbers such as Are You Gonna Be My Girl? and Rollover DJ. The 4 piece are doing with old style rock and roll what the Darkness have done with 70's glam/pomp rock - brought it back to the musical forefront with a modern leaning. Jet are probably what you'd expect The Rolling Stones to sound like if they had come to prominence in the late 90's/early 21st century. They make songs that are catchy with simple guitar riffs and strong melodies. However Jet probably have more of a perchant for ballads (Look What You've Done, Radio Song, Come Around Again and Timothy) than the mighty Stones. ready get set jet

Advantages: superb gameplay
Disadvantages: will end sometime

...In Jet Set Radio, you play a whacked out kid who's completely torqued off about the system. It seems that the city of Tokyoto is not terribly kid-friendly and wants to keep things neat and pretty. You, the skater punk, figure that the only way to rebel is with your inline skates and a couple of cans of Krylon. The game is presented beautifully, from the cartoon-ish graphics right down to the city's themselves. The breaks between stages are absolutely AMAZING! The animation is beautiful! I also love the option to create your own tags or download them via internet. But all in all, we can't forget the music. The gameplay is extremely addictive and enjoyable to play. A must for all Dreamcast owners....

Disadvantages: Aircraft noise in the part we stayed!

We did become accustomed after a day or two and got to recognise all the types. We were amazed at how many countries fly into Tenerife. As my husband tests metal for landing gear and engines he does have an interest in aircraft, but we decided to accept this as part of our holiday and it really did not spoil it. We certainlt felt a part of the Jet Set! The coast was silent, apart from waves crashing and birds calling, if you got a spell with no planes! Jet2.com - A good budget airline.

Advantages: Cheap flights! Isn't that why we fly with them after all?
Disadvantages: All the extra charges, however even after paying for hold luggage it's still cheap.

Advantages: Original graphics and great fun
Disadvantages: Could be a bit easy for some people to complete

...I was very interesting in playing this game after reading the plot and listening to other people's opinions, so when I finally got hold of it I wasn't sure that it would live up to the expecations set by those around me. The game centres on a gang of rollerbladers in a futuristic japanease town. Their 'mission' is to 'tag' walls by painting their logo on them before the police, led by a raving mad detective, try to grab you for scrawling all over their walls! If this sounds pretty basic, then that's the idea. It has it's gameplay feet set firmly in early gaming classics and that's no bad thing it today's world of complicated sub-plots and multiple branching game engines. Shame jet2 charge for bags!

Advantages: good rates and destinantions from local airports
Disadvantages: baggage charges and no rout changes allowed

...- most others unless you have pre booked extra legroom, it will just be first on, first choice on seats exactly like boarding a bus!!) After check we made our way through passport control as normal with plenty of time to wander around the shops and go get a drink etc as both check in were smooth and quick. I found it more difficult to get my morning coffee on the airside as everyone needed that early morning kick, than when travelling on my afternoon flight but none the less, within approx half an hour of entering through we had a gate number on the departures board. Jet Set Radio (JSR) is set sometime in the future in Tokyo. A group of youths are fighting for their territory by skating around on rocket powered Roller Blades, tagging buildings. All this skating and spraying happens in beautiful high-res cell shaded graphics, in a style similar to Fear Effect on the PSX, with a soundtrack to die for (Jurassic 5 rock tha house). Throw in some varied characters and all this adds up to maximum groove. So where does it go wrong?
