...This Greatest Hits Collection was released in 1997. Jimmy first hit the charts in 1984 and then 8 years later, he was back! In August 1992, he scored a huge number one hit with "Ain't No Doubt", which was taken from the album "Growing Up In Public". I'm not entirely sure about the title of that album. Of all the artistes that could be deemed to have had to suffer growing up in public, to my mind, Nail isn't one of them. However, what about "The Nail File"?! Clever title! The first track is "Love Don't Live Here Anymore" and it's a great cover version. I've always loved this song. I like the original version and the Madonna version but Jimmy's is fantastic and it's nice to hear a man sing it. The second track is "Ain't No Doubt" which was Jimmy's big 1992 summer smash. Hit The Nail On The Head

...As greatest hits collections go, you at least have to give this one 10/10 for the originality of it's title. No 'Greatest Hits', 'Best Of' or 'Ultimate Collection' here, oh no it's 'The Nail File'. A bit of a pun I know, but at least it's different. JIMMY NAIL Jimmy Nail first came into the public eye as Oz, the loutish Geordie bricklayer in Auf Weidersehen Pet. Initially only known for his acting, we got a brief hint of his singing in the second series of Auf Weidersehen Pet. He had however, started off his 'showbiz' career in a 1970's rock band called the King Crabs, where Jimmy's party piece was to wear a pink girls dress on stage! The book starts with an acknowledgements list, including a mention of Pat Roach and how Jimmy felt when he died during the making of the Auf Wiedersehen Pet two-part special. It then goes into Chapter One, discussing Jimmy's years growing up on Newcastle's East End Fairways estate. Predictably, Newcastle United get a mention just two paragraphs in. He also talks about how his Mam and Dad met. ...The other week I was out shopping , when I decided to have a rummage in one of the many charity shops in my local town. I find shops like these great for finding DVDs and books (quite often , in very good condition!) at a really good price , and so I find by buying these this way I save a lot of a money and get more DVDs for a £10 in the shop , than I can if I buy them on the internet. ...Intro I first got this nail varnish a few months ago. It was free in Bliss magazine and I use it all of the time. It was a new brand to me so I don't know for sure when they were brought out. Packaging As most nail varnishes, this comes in a 10ml glass bottle with a silver metal screw top lid. This makes it look very professional and keen to the eye! These come in all different colours and I actually have 388 Piccadilly Circus which is a dark pink sort of colour. The Product With this nail varnish, I find that you have to do at least two coats which is not too bad. When you have done this, your nails look sexy, shiny and smooth.
