...I'd be suprised if you hadn't heard of JJB, they have become very big competitors of other stores in the past few years and nearly cut out all the competition. JJB was originally formed in 1971 but I don't it really become huge until about 1998, by this time they had over 410 stores across the nation. They sell: Sports Clothes Footwear Exercise Equipment Football, Rugby kits Bikes & Golf Equipment...at incredibly low prices. The brands include: Nike Adidas Reebok Puma Hi-Tec Kappa LCS Patrick Umbro... ... and many more. All of their products are of decent quility and I personally think the prices are reasonable. On First sight i was impressed with how good the building looked from the outside, and as we went down the escalator we were even more impressed. We were greeted by a friendly security guard, who asked us whether we needed any help. He directed us towards the running trainer section, where within 10 seconds we were approached by a friendly sales assistant. ...~ The outside ~ At first impressions my local store looks clean, tidy and of reasonable size. The fact that it is based on a retail park rather than a corner shop means they are larger anyway. ~ Inside ~ Upon walking inside you can see that the layout has yet to be designed by someone who knows how to setup a floor display. My local store sells sports wear and accessories, bikes and accessories as well as other equipment. It looks as though they have tried to fit as much as they can in there rather than work with the space. Although they have good offers on in there sometimes I very rarely buy from there. JJB is good for me

...One of my all time favourite shops has to be JJB. With 4 children I find their clothing good value at reasonable prices. JJB is the only store I know that I can get something for everyone so I also save time and energy. When I go in someone usually asks if I need help but I don't feel watched like in some other stores. I can walk round for ages and get help if I need it. The staff are mainly polite and helpful and if something I particularly want is out of stock they will ring the nearest stores to try to find it. There are often good offers on. I like the "buy one get one free" best as you don't have to get the same size or colour. ...I love this store. I can honestly say I have never been dissapointed with this shop. Specialising in children's sports wear I regularly buy my children's sports wear from here and have always found the quality to be excellent. Most items they sell are usually in stock but they will order anything you require. In Harlow we have more than an average number of sports shops and this one comes out on top nearly every time for price. When it comes to sales they have the best prices in town. Staff are friendly, helpful and show a good amount of knowledge. The range of products is average but it is always top quality and they stock most popular branded goods (Adidas, Nike, Puma etc)....

...This is a very good store, with an excellent range of sports wear. From your football tops to the brand jackets and lots more. The superstore’s are even better, big and spacious but also stock a lot more. They have excellent variety I wanted to buy a top I couldn’t find it in size in the smaller stores of JJB Sports, but a trip to the superstores proved very successful, and I managed to get my top . The prices are very reasonable considering the fact it sells brand clothes. You can get some really quality brand names on T-shirts, tracksuit bottom at excellent prices. There refund policy is very good and if you want to take something back, just keep the receipt and they’ll accept it back. ...JJB sports had a sale on so I went to have a look, and though I did not buy anything except for some socks, I was impressed by their range and most of all by the staff. I somehow, managed to leave my bags in their, don?t ask me how, but I did. Luckily, I was browsing through some other shops close by, when one of their staff member approached me and said ‘Excuse me, I think you have something in the store? I was so happy, and so thankful. Warning About Their Interest Free Credit

Advantages: Usually a well stocked store
Disadvantages: Appalling customer service

...At Christmas I bought a basketball hoop from JJB Sports for £200. They were offering interest free credit on purchases this size and although I did not particularly need the credit I thought as it was there I would take advantage of it. I paid £20 deposit and needed to pay the rest by direct debit – 6 payments of £30. I have never ever regretted a decision involving buying any goods as much as I have done this one. First off the credit agreement is administered by a company called Creation Financial Service Limited of Solihull and if you ever see this name on a credit agreement walk away immediately. They in turn are linked to a company called Equifax Card Solutions also not surprisingly of Solihull. At the risk of repeating myself avoid these people also. It is however unlikely you will notice these names in minute writing...
