...Go Audio Made Up Stories Go Audio have a great talent which they clearly show in this album, I personally am in love with their material. Made Up Stories ***** This is a brilliant start to this album and obviously is the album title. This i would say is just a taster to this album because if you listen to it you would know that the tracks just keep getting better. The vocals in this track are brilliant and it has a simple but effective bass line which i like jamming along to. So Quiet You Were **** I'm only giving this a four because nearly every other track is a five atleast. It is a brilliant track which has amazing memorizable lyrics to it and it is worth taking the time to listen to. Brake! Brake! ***** I love the rhythm and drum beat to this track they get your foot tapping or fingers...

Review of Made Up Stories - Go:Audio

Pure Bass. Buy it, play it, love it.

Advantages: Pure Bass, Great look, easy to install, great price.
Disadvantages: Might take some space, need a good amplifier

...This speaker got 5th place on the Los Angeles Car Sound System Festival and was voted as the best buy deal in 2008. I was impressed by the performance of the bass test, the only way I can call that is "Pure bass". 800Watt is more than enough, the quality stays unbeaten. Satisfaction guaranteed. From my point of view, you won't need any other subwoofer; this will be a last link to any car's sound system. 4 medium speakers + this subwoofer and a bunch of EQs with an amplifier and your car is a dream of any musician. When I read the description I understood that this subwoofer will be serving for a long time, easy to install, cool design and a whole goodness of Pure Bass. I give 9 marks out or 10...

Owners view on the Cambridge Audio A1 Intergrated amplifier

Advantages: great clarity, can recognise delicate sounds, for the price its unbeatable!
Disadvantages: it wont break any windows in terms of volume! it lacks any digital input!

...For a budget amplifier you get oodles of clarity! its punchy, and delivers the most delicate of high frequencies too.... i have paired it up with an old pair of Kef Cresta 3's and have used several diffent speakers and different cables.... the first lot of cable i tried was specially handmade gold in, silver out @ £600 per meter! and the current cable is cheapy £2 bell type wire, and to be honest, it made very little difference in the quality... maybe a tad clearer, but nothing vastly notable).. so as another plus, it will make a very low budget system sound very good! so positives are amazing sound quality, from bassy club music to delicate classical, it delivers all with a convincing realism, and thats using a standard cd player on my pc! its bass is very punchy if need be and is quite apparent even at low volumes!!! clarity is...

M-Audio Fast Track Pro - Great for working with audio on a budget

Advantages: cheap, reliable, portable, easy to use and intuitive
Disadvantages: limited ins and outs, not a lot of leeway for input levels

...The M-Audio Fast Track Pro is all round a fairly good piece of kit. I originally bought mine as my very first audio/usb interface to use with my Macbook and Logic Pro when I first started university, 2 years ago. I am now in my final year, and have progressed up to using Pro Tools (M-powered, as this is the only version supported by the Fast Track Pro.) I have to date used the fast track pro to create semi-professional projects. The sound quality is, I have to say, very good for a £120 interface, although I have had problems attempting to get a decent input signal strength, especially when using the built in phantom power. However, the integrated phantom power is effective, even when the unit is powered solely by USB, although the option for mains power is available, though the adapter is not included in the box. Review of M-Audio Fast Track Pro

Nicely done, Cambridge Audio.

Advantages: Great playback of CD as well as DVD
Disadvantages: None that come to mind.

...it. I hate to hear music from a CD played in some sort of psuedo surround mode. Even concert DVD's just don't seem right to me in surround. (And I've heard £50,000+ systems too!!) When did you ever go to a concert where some of the musicians were behind you? Or even to the side, for that matter. Music should be listened to coming from (preferably) just 2 speakers in front of you, IMHO. Don't even let me get started on the subject of subwoofers... End Tangent! The Cambridge Audio Azure 540D is a very capable player. It has all the connectivity you are likely to need other than HDMI (I'm on a bit of a downer on HDMI at the moment, so I don't see that as an ommission) but including a very good downmixed stereo sound out (Jargon decode - it makes surround sound encoded music DVD's sound nice ;-) ). In summary, I would buy one...

Cambridge Audio C/P500 Pre/Power Amp

Advantages: Audiophile quality design and build
Disadvantages: takes up more shelves on your hi-fi rack and needs more cables. Big Deal!!!

...I have owned two of these P500 power amps along with accompanying C500 control/pre-amp for approx 10 years now. They are receiving signal from a 24 bit NAD C540 CD player (see my other review) and feeding a pair of Mission 734i floor standing speakers. I bought this system after initial going to audition a NAD amplifier of the time that had received rave reviews. I was recomended to try the C/P500 combination to compare and although the NAD was fairly close on the lower frequencies the higher frequencies were much clearer and natural and so I ended up buying two power amps to bi-amp the speakers (the P500 does give two sets of connections to facilitate bi-wiring, it's just that at this price I couldn't resist). I listen to a varied range of music from older stuff such as the Beatles and the Clash, more modern stuff such as Jamiruqai...

Review of Cambridge Audio P 500

Sturdy, versatile audio/midi interface/surface

Advantages: well made and easy to use
Disadvantages: positioning of front and back ports can get cluttered

...Amongst audio interfaces this is unique for having both audio/midi ports as well as the light-up top knob and buttons. These can be asisgned to functions in a wide range of audio DAWs from Apple's Garageband to Logic and Cubase. The unit is simple to install and use although I did have to download the latest drivers for it to be recognised on a USB port. With two audio inputs, guitar and a microphone or other instruments can be quickly setup. The back plate includes MIDI in and out ports to complete the connectivity. Once connected it immediately offers high-end audio clarity and 3ms latency which ensures you hear straightaway the music you're playing. Although this unit is now a few years old, its sturdy construction and versatility make it a better option than the newer Guitar Rig Sessions 3 XE device....

Good audio interface for serious recording

Advantages: good sound quality, zero latency
Disadvantages: if you expect a really out standing quality, this is not the one to go for

...I bought this M-Audio firewire last year. Have to say Im really satisfy with this audio interface. It has 2 input with 48V phatom power, from which you can plug in your condenser microphones. There are also 2 1/4 input for instruments. It works really well for my acoustic, although I would prefer to use the condenser mics to record, since they give a fuller tone. Supported with firewire connection, there is no latency, and it allows you to record up to 192Kb, which is satisfactiory for professional recording. The interface has a solid look, with white silver color and very stable. I've been using it for 1 year and I've never had a problem with the hardware. The software is well suported and run smoothly with my mac....

M-Audio Oxygen 61[Midi Keyboard]

Advantages: Great Midi Keyboard/Controller.

...As im a music Producer, I use a number of Midi Keyboards when i go to studios. M-audio keyboards are levels abouve the rest within the industry. I previously i owned the smaller version of this the Oxygen8 v2, which i loved, howeveras i was progressing as a musician, it was limiting me on the mellodies i was composing as there wernt enough keys. So i upgraded to the Oxygen 61 which is what im currently using. Im extremely happly with it so far, and feel that it meets all of my requirements not just as a Midi Keyboard but also as a Controller Interface for software like 'Reason'. The Modulation and Pitch Bend Sliders are very useful while recording to generate different effects. This keyboard includes everything you need as a producer to start making music of a high standard, Pitch & Modulation wheels, programmable buttons/panners/ 9...

Medion - Audio / Visual Tranmitter / Receiver

...Ok, this basically does what it says on the box. I had this as a Christmas present, and to be honest with you - didnt think it was going to be as good as it actually is. I found at that these units were being sold for £19.99 in ALDI, and have found comparible units for sale in other shops such as Currys, Dixons etc for approx £50 ( and these dont actually allow you to change the channel over like this one does - for this function, you have to select a different model, which is approx £15 / £20 more expensive * £65 / £70 ) When I first opended the box I noticed thattis un lso comes with the remote conro Infra Red sender, which allows you to actually change the channel from the alternative location that you are using the product in. This was really good as most of these types of units only actually send / receive the audio...
