Kettle chips
Advantages: A really crisp potato chip
Disadvantages: none
...When I sit and watch television in the evening I like something to munch, the `something` all depends on my mood. There are times when I reach for the biscuit tin, other times when a bar of Cadbury`s will do the trick and times when I feel like something savoury.
There aren't many crisps and potato snacks that I don't like, but Kettle Chips have to be one of my favourite snacks. Maybe they remind me of my childhood, my Mum used to peel and slice some potatoes very thinly and then deep fry them, the result was much like a Kettle chip.
Kettle chips are produced at a factory in Norwich, interestingly enough by a firm called Kettle Foods!
I have always thought of them as an adult snack, let the children enjoy their Monster Munch and their Wotsits and let the adults enjoy the unique taste of the Kettle chips.
A pack of any flavour...

JMB DVD3000 A great budget player
Advantages: Cheap and works well
Disadvantages: Dosent have some extra features
...Want a good budget DVD player? Maybe you want to buy your first player just to make sure your going to get some use out of it, or maybe your just not sure about entering the DVD market right at the moment. Well, I’ve got just the right DVD player for you.
JMB DVD players can be found at Littlewoods Extra (www.littlewoodsextra.com) at £139.99. They can probably be found elsewhere, but this is the only place I have seen them. So, your thinking to yourself ‘well I’ve never heard of JMB before, are they any good?’ and that’s just what I thought. Well, basically, they are at the lower end of the electronics market along with the likes of Daewoo, Alba and Mitsumi. These companies all sell quality products, but just don’t concentrate too much on the looks of the product, or packaging and so forth...

PUT THE KETTLE ON
Advantages: A more mature hip
Disadvantages: A bit on the expensive side
...***INTRO***
My sister and her boyfriend decided to call around New Years Eve too surprise me they brought a bottle of wine and this bag of Kettle chips. After showing me her digital snaps of her recent Cuban Holiday they shot off for the rest of their evenings celebrations. I decided to tuck in (didn't I regret too much wine drinking the next day).
***THE PRODUCT***
Kettle foods sell the product as A NATURAL OBSESSION this along with the term KETTLE are trade marked. They are based in Norfolk. My bag contained 150g of lightly salted potato chips.
THE WRAPPING (see picture below)
My potato chips came in a grey bag about 12" X 6". The inside gives an indication that the package is foil. The front of the package contains the trademarks mentioned above. The backside contains pictures and information on the chips. The bag...

Did Polly really put the kettle on..???
Advantages: Quick boil, colourful and attractive looking and solidly built
Disadvantages: nothing apart from maybe the light being constantly on
...Some people may say that a kettle is just a kettle, a way of boiling water to make a cup of tea, and some others may say that they boil water on a cooker using a saucepan, but I seem to go through kettle like a politician goes through expense claim forms. So when I recently needed to buy a new kettle, as the one I had had just broken, I decided to buy a cheap and cheerful one, so when I saw this well known named water boiler on offer, just under £15.00, I jumped at the chance in the hope that I would get a good six months of water boiling out of it.
So what can I tell you about the nice sized silver kettle with it?s lovely dual coloured mannerism.??
* It is an illuminating kettle, Blue meaning off whilst Red meaning on.
* A ?window? up the side to show the water level, with a ½ litre,1 litre and a 1.7 litre mark.
* It has a full...

A Fine Kettle of Chips
Advantages: Crispy and tasty
Disadvantages: Not an everyday flavour
...KETTLE FOODS, a privately owned company who reckon they're one of the countries leading premium food brands, hail from Norfolk and....och, just go to their website if you want to know all that stuff, I'll just pop open a bag and tell you about what I find inside, shall I? Yes? Okey-dokey.
Today, I will mostly be reviewing the KETTLE MEDITERRANEAN flavour (IS Mediterranean actually a flavour?) To be fair, I think it's a variety, and it comes in two flavours: FETA CHEESE AND OLIVE, and Red Pepper and Sun Dried Tomato - I'm reviewing the Feta.
They come freshly wrapped in a dark orange foil packet with the KETTLE logo firmly emblazoned across the front so they shouldn't be hard to find.
I suppose what makes these different is that they're fried in olive oil instead of the more usual, cheaper types of oil like sunflower...

Put the Kettle on!!
Advantages: Great, different flavour
Disadvantages: None
...When you're looking for a special treat and something different than the ordinary crisp, Kettle Chips are the way to go.
If you are unfamiliar with Kettle Chips they are what I would call upmarket crisps, hand cooked for taste perfection! The hand cooked nature of the crisps makes them really tasty I think. It gives the crisps an unevenness about them and makes them very crunchy and fresh. Also, you will find on some crisps that a bite of the skin is left on the edges so this gives it a really nice texture and a bit of extra flavour. Sometimes you will find that the crisps are folded over or in funny shapes which I think is due to them being hand cooked and this just gives them extra crunch. They also have a really nice golden colour to them. The makers of Kettle chips even confirm this on their bags saying that the colour of their...

Kettle Chips - the Epitome of Quality
Advantages: Good quality crisps
Disadvantages: None
...I first started buying kettle chips several years ago, and have been buying them ever since due to their excellent quality and authentic taste.
THE PRODUCT ITSELF
Kettle chips are of an extremely good quality. They are made from the best potatoes which are individually checked, sliced and cooked in sunflower oil. They are then sprinkled with various seasonings to create a truly unique flavour. The current range of flavours is fairly extensive. They are:
Lightly salted;
Sea salt with crushed black peppercorns;
Balsamic vinegar with sea salt;
Mature cheddar and chive;
Salsa with mesquite;
Yoghurt and green onion; and
Sea salt rosemary and garlic
My favourite flavours are "lightly salted" and "balsamic vinegar with sea salt". These flavours are authentic, but not too overpowering. I haven't yet tried their organic range...

Honey Barbecue Kettle Chips
Advantages: All Natural Ingredients, taste,
Disadvantages: Price, can make you thirsty.
...I decided to do my shopping in Morrisons for a change, they seem to have quite a lot of offers on, anyway browsing down the crisp aisle I was looking for some Barbecue crisps as they are my favourite.
I saw Kettle Chips 2 for £2, I decided to try these having no idea what they are like. So I purchased Honey Barbecue, and Cracked Black Pepper.
This review is about the Honey Barbecue Chips, they are in a large 150g orange coloured foil bag, which states Absolutely Nothing Artificial with Honey Sweetness.
Smell/Taste/Texture;-
When I opened the bag the first thing you notice is the distinctive potato aroma, the chips are a golden colour with a generous coating of Honey Barbecue flavouring, which has a pleasant aroma.
The Chips are all a good size and appear to be quite firm crisp shapes. Possibly due to the fact they are...

KETTLE Kipper & Custard Chips ... coming soon?
Advantages: A fairly loud snack
Disadvantages: Eating an entire bag results in massive lager-craving.
...OK ? there are already far too many reviews of Kettle Chips on Ciao, and mr-zeeman isn?t going to be able to come up with a stunning new angle on the product that hasn?t already been tried. Unless I start making wild allegations, of course ? like, for instance, I could say that one of my Kettle Chips was formed in an uncanny likeness to HRH Prince Charles, complete with wing-nut ears and tiny impecunious chin. This info would interest anyone who has found a sentence from The Koran inside a tomato, or bought a root vegetable in the crumpled form of Mother Theresa ?
But to get back to cash-earning basics ?
The first thing that attracted me to the extra-large bag of Kettle Chips was the bright orange Sainsbury?s ?reduced price? label ? which effectively lowered the cost from a purse-wrenching £1.39 to a far more manageable 70p...
