Ionic Hairdryer With Free Ceramic Brush.
Advantages: Kinder to your hair.
Disadvantages: None.
...My old faithful Babyliss hairdryer was on it's last legs and it was time to find a replacement,
I had heard a lot about Ionic hairdryers and how they left your hair shinier and frizz free..........
Shiny, frizz free.............I want one ............and so began the search for an Ionic hairdryer.
My search began with Amazon and it was'nt long before I found and ordered the...................
''Phillips Tresemme Salon Proceramic Hairdryer''
that was a few weeks ago and so far has proved to be a worthwhile buy.
What prompted me to buy this one (apart from the style and functions) was it was on sale down from £30.00 to £22.99 and iincluded a separate Ceramic straightening brush.
The hairdryer is all black apart from the slider switches, the air inlet grille and the hanging loop which are light grey ( see pics )
and looks...

A Very Very Good Hair Day!
Advantages: Heat very quickly, Thin irons are perfect for men and women
Disadvantages: None
...After having very short and spiky hair for most of my teens and early 20's, I decided earlier this year that I need a change and decided to grow my hair.
When it got to a certain length, I purchased a pair of £20 straighteners from a supermarket. Being the 'typical' man, I decided that straighteners were straighteners, and I was not going to pay over the odds for a product that would no doubt do the job just as well.
After getting sick and tired of waiting about 5 minutes for my straighteners to heat up, and about 45 minutes trying to get my hair straight, I decided on the recomendation of my friend to purchase a pair of the GHD mini thin straighteners.
They come in a neatly presented box, with quite stylish packaging. The box had instructions on how to use and safety advice, which I would recomend reading due to the heat factor...

GHD Styler - hair straighteners that save time and effort!
Advantages: heats up quickly! straightens, curls and creates waves! turns off automatically if left on!!
Disadvantages: can't straighten when hair is wet
...has been switched on, I literally wait about 1 minute and it?s burning hot, ready for use!
Another good thing is that it has a safety element, in which it detects if the straighter has been left switched on! So after a while, it cools down automatically! None of that ?have I left the straighters on?? nonsense, that everyone seems to worry about!!
All in all, the only down side is that you can?t use it on wet hair, which just means you need to invest in a good hairdryer to use beforehand (if you?re not into letting it dry naturally!).
So yeah, go for this product! Or any other ghd product ? they are simply the best, and will give you a ?good hair day? !! :o)...

Great for short thin hair
Advantages: Heat very quickly
Disadvantages: Unable to cope with my thick hair
...I bought these recently as I cannot live without my older larger plated GHD's and thought that these would be a handy alternative. They do heat in under 3 seconds and have the same excellent ceramic plates as the larger version, however I found them very time consuming. I have very thick hair about shoulder length and unlike their larger cousins they were unable to straighten as effectively . On saying that they were brilliant on my fringe. I would recommend these to anyone with shorter or thin hair. A fashion conscientious male friend of mine used these and loved them and were perfect for his short hair. I would recommend using the straightening oil with these as they are very hot and I did find a few burnt strands of hair ....

GHD - A 'Good Hair Day'
Advantages: Heats up quick
Disadvantages: Expensive
...GHD are the best straightners on the market, GHD actually stands for 'Good hair day' which is exactly what they give you.....every time. Near enough every hair salon uses them and they can be bought from most of them and also the GHD website. There are a range of different types of GHD straightners for different styles, both for girls and boys. They Take only a short 20 seconds to heat up to a maximum temperature of 210 degrees, they also have a little red led which lets you know exactly when there done once its stopped flashing. Meaning you only have to go over one section of your hair once unlike many other straightners on the market. Straightening can be annoying when the cord keeps getting caught or tangled, but it?s not going too happen with the 360 degree swivel cord GHDs have. This makes it easier to move around your head...

Good Hair Day? Definitely!
Advantages: Quick to heat up, Excellent results, Easy to use, Time-saving
Disadvantages: Cost, Extremely hot, Only one setting
...I've had these hair straighteners for roughly six months now and have used them probably every day since I was given them, so I feel fairly qualified to give my opinion: that I really can't recommend them highly enough!!
The quality of GHDs is unbeatable - I've used a lot of hair straighteners in my time, and I've got to say that they really do give consistently good results. They heat up in roughly fifteen seconds, and you can straighten hair very quickly in a rush with a fairly good finish - which as you can imagine saves huge amounts of time in the mornings! Generally, unless your hair is remarkably stubborn, the hair will also stay straight for the duration of the day.
It's also worth noting that they're pretty versatile, and as my hairdresser demonstrated a few days ago, it's quite easy to get nice curls using these hair...

Our pink dryer
Advantages: It dries hair
Disadvantages: Not the fastest but fast enough
...Hairdryer
With Little Miss liking all things pink (and lilac) it was only a matter of time before a pink hairdryer entered the house.
PRODUCT AND PACKAGING
Thankfully I get into the pink (naturally!) box easily and even better is the fact that once inside, I didn't have to do anything- hairdryer was all set up and just required plugging in.
The hairdryer itself is a kind of pearlescent pink colour which is attractive in that it's not overly gharish. The removable styling nozzle, which can be used to direct the air onto a small area of hair is black as is the trim around the back of the hair dryer and down the sides. The air inlet at the back and also (as I expected) the cord is black as are the switches.
On the front of the handle there are 2 switches. The cool button can be pressed down for cooler air, and this is popular...

GHD, makes a bad hair day a good hair day
Advantages: Temperature, quick warm up
Disadvantages: None
...These straighteners are the best hair straighteners I have ever used, they heat up in about 10 seconds, beep when they're ready to use and then if you forget to turn them off they switch themselves off which is great if you're like me and have often come home to find my bed covers completely singed.
They're very hot which although on the one hand is good because they work really well for every type of hairstyle you can ever want to do, straighten, curl, volumise etc. However, if you don't use a comb when straightening your hair you can quite often burn your fingers on your hair.
GHD really do offer quality products as a general rule and I would never use any other straighteners. This is my 3rd pair of GHD's so really I have no complaints, however, my hot pink straighteners have had to be sent back to GHD on 2 different occasions...

Sexy Shiny Hair With A Pink And Girly Twist!
Advantages: They Are Pink, Heat Detector, Heat Indicator, Easy To Use, Curls Too, Value For Money
Disadvantages: Frequent Use Damages Hair
...My mum bought me my first pair of GHDs roughly five years ago. Looking back I can honestly say that I have no idea how I managed without them! I had a pair of pretty rubbish things in my first year at secondary school but it wasn't until I had GHDs that my hair was properly managed.
When we visited our salon they used GHDs to finish the look of both me and my mum's hairstyles. Now I know that the hairdresser can always make your hair look ten times better than you can but I have to say my hair looked straighter and sleeker than it ever had before. My mum forked out about £100 for the straightners, and judging by her usually tightness when it comes to money this shows just how impressed she really was.
These were the original GHDs that were first on the market. They were innovative because they only took 7 seconds to heat up (my...

An excellent hair dryer
Advantages: 3 dfferent heat settings, dries quickly, looks good.
Disadvantages: quite expensive and heavy
...This hair dryer was bought for me as a present from my husband and I can't fault it at all! he chose well!
It is by the brand Umberto Giannini which are well known for their hair care products and hair dressing salons.
It comes with three different heat settings, a hair brush and a diffuser to add extra voume to your hair.
The package it comes in is attractive enough with a big cardboard box full of black swirls and a lrge window in the front of it so you can see the hairdryer. The hair dryer is white with a blue nozzle anda bright pink diffuser so against the white and black box it looks really stylish and stands out.
It is quite a large dryer, definitely not one you would take away with you and it is a little heavy and cumbersome.
It definitely dries my hair quickly, I have thick hair and it takes a while tyo dry my...
