Steam Through Your Cleaning Schedule!

Advantages: Cleans better than you couls imagine
Disadvantages: Bit heavy

...It was earlier this year that, about March time and I was getting really fed up with the state of my house, it was not dirty but some things I could not do anything with, for example the limescale on the shower cubical, no matter how much I scrubbed it i still could not get it off, I was not going to be beaten by this, so I bought a hand held JML Steam Cleaner. THE STEAMER I chose the hand held JML which cost me just under £50. With this particular Steamer you get a range of interchangeable tools these are, a rubber nozzle, 2 small round brushes and a big triangular shaped brush, I believe that you can buy other attachments separately. Thane direct steam mop - doesn't do what it says !

Advantages: Heats to steam quickly - probably heat of kills germs as steam is hot
Disadvantages: Leaves floors very, wet. End up double cleaning everything - covers poor - waste of space!

...Not impressed with the H20 steam mop product, which falls far short of the detailed TV advert performance. On hard floors it leaves them sopping wet, not so much of a problem on a matt finish amtico type floor but with laminate, there's no way you could leave it . Ended up with twice the work, having to use my superwonder mop to wipe all excess water to leave floor with decent finish when dry. Even on clean carpet which is just being freshened to kill any germs that might be in the carpet, it seems to roll any dirt in almost fluff balls which then have to be vacuumed again when it dries. It seems to double the work involved whatever the surface. The covers provided are also pretty poor in fit and quality with a tendency to come off - difficult to put back on with heat. Quick and tasty food

Advantages: Quick cooking times , tasty food, saves energy, convenient
Disadvantages: Needs a better instruction book and a recipe book, no lid holder

I've also mentioned that there is now a cookbook to buy separately, I just wish it came with the oven as standard. I also hope that JML will go on to produce an accessory kit similar to that for the Flavourwave such as a browning pan and a basket (which would be handy for chips and steaming veg) I think that would enhance the oven further. You can get accessories from third parties as far as I can tell. The instruction manual doesn't say whether you can buy additional bowls or even the lid since the halogen bulb isn't user replaceable. Can it do your ironing and cleaning in seconds? I wish....

Advantages: Good results on clothes and mirrors
Disadvantages: so difficult to get to grips with and just a naff version of a good product

...JML Steamstation Pro. This is a small machine which uses the power of steam to quickly and effectively clean, and to quickly and effectively steam clothes instead of ironing. I bought the steamstation from JML's own website http://www.jmldirect.com/Steam-Station-Pro-PS3415/ here you can see a small video and info about the product. It is £58.71 but i paid £80 for the upgraded version with all the attachments. I can't think this product would be of any use at all without the attachments so you may as well ignore the cheaper one. JML are very proffesional, it is easy to buy and delivery is very quick. I ordered this because i hate ironing and i thought that an easy and quick solution like this would be fantastic. Review of JML Steam Station PRO

Perfect for solo dishes or family meals!

Advantages: Roomy, cooks to perfection, cooks in half the time, self-cleans.
Disadvantages: So far, I can honestly say I haven't found any.

...I purchased a JML Halogen Oven just a couple of weeks ago and so far it's been perfect in every way! I've cooked meals for one person through to five people and each one has come out perfectly. It's fantastic for cooking for one, no fuss, no mess, just pop your food in, set the timer and check on it every now and then to see how its going. I can finally grill without the smoke alarms going off if a corner of whatever is under it over cooks and it makes perfect cheese on toast without needing to toast the bread, or even turn over! The self clean function is brilliant, a squirt of washing up liquid and some water, set the time and go! A quick wipe round with a sponge and a rinse out and it's done.
