John Frieda Sheer Blonde Shampoo
Advantages: leaves your hair bright and shiny!!
Disadvantages: Price (cos its the only one i can think of)
...After having my highlights re-done several times over the last few years and trying various products and never having much success, I always found they dulled really quickly.
Then again i hadnt tried Sheer blonde!
It was recommened to me and what a difference it made.
It is designed to counteract the darkening and dullen that daily life has on the hair. It is highlight activating shampoo which gets rid of all the toxins - smoke, pullition etc. and brightens your hair. I wasnt sure at first having heard the same thing before but this really did make a difference!
It neutralises chlorine so after a swim i can be pretty sure that my hair doesnt go green!!
There are two types of shampoo:
Champagne Blonde and;
Honey to Caramel blonde
so whatever blonde you are there is one to suit.
The product looks great- a nice caramely...

Repair for us blondes
Advantages: conditioners coloured hair
Disadvantages: price
...Being a natural blonde I get bored with my hair colour sometimes and feel the need to liven it up. So I get bleached highlights, completely damaging my hair or so I thought until I found this product.
John Frieda have a range for blonde hair people like my self be it natural/coloured or bleached. It’s called sheer blonde and they do it for two types of blonde hair, platinum to champagne blonde and honey to caramel blonde. The range includes the following;
~Highlight enhancer shampoo
~Highlight enhancer conditioner
~Hair mousse
~Hair wax
~Hair serum
The products are designed to activate new or old natural or processed highlights but anyone with blonde hair could use it.
The product contains pro-vitamin B5 and sunflower seed oil, which supposedly helps to repair damage done by chemicals and heat.
I use...

Keeps blonde highlights alive!
Advantages: Brightens and keeps highlights fresh looking, prevents fading and dulling.
Disadvantages: None
...I have mid brown highlighted hair....highlights being a honey tone. I've always had a problem with my highlights fading and turning a sickly orangy blonde colour!
I recently had my hair highlighted at a new salon and my hairdresser advised that I try using the Sheer Blonde highlight activating shampoo and conditioner range by John Freeda for 'platinum to champage' shades. I was a bit puzzled as my highlights are more of a honey tone but my hairdresser explained that in order to keep the highlights looking fresh I should be using this particular range.
After changing over to this range my highlights look fresh, bright and alive, previously after a few washes they would start to fade. The shampoo cleanses the hair to a squeaky clean feeling and the conditioner is light enough for my medium to fine hair. It doesnt affect the brown...

Which is truely the best colour there is, Blonde!
Advantages: maximises highlights, shines
Disadvantages: bad smell
...Wow! You all know I love my hair to look perfectly shiny from my last op on Sunsilk. Although Sunsilk did give me great looking hair, I have found something even better ? John Frieda Sheer Blonde Shampoo & Conditioner!
This moisturising infusing shampoo has added highlight activators that after using, really bring out the true colours of your hair. After recently getting my hair highlighted with even more blonde put through it, this shampoo & conditioner really helps show them in their truest colour.
The product is formulated for dry, distressed Honey to Caramel blondes and contains aloe Vera which gently cleanses and restores silky suppleness to ?burnt-out? blonde hair. It removes darkened colour to create a lighter, brighter and shinier effect.
With natural caramel, honey and wheatgerm extracts, this product can be used...

John Frieda Beach Blonde Sun Streaks.
Advantages: Loads!
Disadvantages: None!
...Wow this product is brilliant!
I had hair past my bum which was beginning to look a bit messy on the ends, so I went for the chop! I had a foot of it cut off but this made my hair a rather dull blonde as it was mainly the ends that were a nice blonde.
I thought about having highlights done at the hairdressers but was worried about the drying effect and the roots regrowth.
Then when I went into boots I spotted this amazing product!
It was summer at the time so I decided to give it a go, put some in my hair, and sat in the warmth of the sun - this product can also be used under the heat of a hairdryer, so its great for blonde hair all year round.
I was really pleased with the results and redo my hair with it every few weeks.
My hair went from a dull blonde to a silky shiny glistening golden blonde, everyone comments...

Not Just for Blondes or Stop the Blonde Tyranny
Advantages: the smell
Disadvantages: quite pricey, doesn't achieve much as a styler
...Like many/most people I?m not happy with what my parents gave me. I most particularly loathe my hair. At the moment I wish it was curly or wavy (oh no, I bet I have now alienated all curly and wavy-haired people who would like straight hair).
I had bought a John Frieda product (op to follow when Ciao add it) and was looking for some more information about how to use it, and thus ended up on the John Frieda website (johnfrieda.com). I was browsing through the site when I happened on the Beach blonde range. ?Ocean waves? caught my eye, as it promised to transform my straight-(ish) hair (and other straight-haired people?s straight hair) into ?water-wavy tousled tendrils?.
That sounded very appealing as I was fed up with reading about products that help straighten wavy/curly hair, and not the contrary.
The product comes in a see...

Sheer Blonde!
Advantages: Works well, leaves hair soft and shiney
Disadvantages: Doesn't smell as nice as some, bit pricey
...I used to have sort of darkish blonde to light brown hair which lightened in the summer, but a while ago i decided to just go for it and colour it. My hair is now quite light blonde (though not bleached!) and, despite what the packet promised, the colour did leave it a bit damaged. Ever since then i have been trying to find a shampoo and conditioner that makes my hair soft and shiney, protects the colour and generally make my hair look half decent. And i think this may be it!
Before using this shampoo i tried LOADS of them. Toni and Guy, Charles Worthington Dream Hair aswell as whatever my mum bought home from tesco and nothing seemed to work. They worked on one thing eg made it soft but left it looking dull or vice versa. Then, i saw this range and decided to give it a go!
When i first bought this shampoo it was on 3 for 2 in...

John Frieda - For a Little Bit of Luxury In Your Life!
Advantages: Hair smells fantastic and hair feels soft .
Disadvantages: I suppose there are a lot of chemicals listed in this - but this is the same for most conditioners
...JOHN FRIEDA CONDITIONER
John Frieda Conditioner
I thought that I would review this conditioner as I recently ran out of it and so had to use a general one that was knocking about in the bathroom. It is only then that I realised how good this conditioner is and how much I missed it.
What it is like and overall opinion.-
The conditioner is a creamy colour and is quite thick in consistency, so you only need a circle of about 2 to 3 cm diameter. The bottle states that it is paricularly good for colour treated or highlighted hair brunette hair.
I don't know if buying shampoo and conditioner by hair colour really makes a difference in particular, but this product is good and does it's job anyway.
It states that it has special illuminating properties - and contains cocoa bean and crushed pearls to help achieve this...

A Beautiful Boost of Blonde
Advantages: brings out blonde highlights, protects hair, moisturises
Disadvantages: quite pricey, can be drying
...As a blonde, I?ve always loved summer because my hair automatically turns two shades lighter, and all my highlights kick in. It?s a great time of year for hair (despite unavoidable limpness and frizz on humid days). Sadly, though, as the days of sunshine wane and the dark winter months set in, my hair inevitably takes a u-turn from being a lovely blonde to a dark, dull, lifeless honey colour. Blah. Why this must happen to us blondes, I do not know, but I do know that I want my brightness back!
So as soon as I realise that my hair is looking more lacklustre than luscious, I know it?s time to bring out my Sheer Blonde Moisture Infusing shampoo. (I prefer Moisture Infusing to the regular Sheer Blonde shampoo because I find the latter too drying.) Moments after applying it, my formerly dull hair is noticeably blonder and shinier. It...
