John Frieda - For a Little Bit of Luxury In Your Life!
Advantages: Hair smells fantastic and hair feels soft .
Disadvantages: I suppose there are a lot of chemicals listed in this - but this is the same for most conditioners
...JOHN FRIEDA CONDITIONER
John Frieda Conditioner
I thought that I would review this conditioner as I recently ran out of it and so had to use a general one that was knocking about in the bathroom. It is only then that I realised how good this conditioner is and how much I missed it.
What it is like and overall opinion.-
The conditioner is a creamy colour and is quite thick in consistency, so you only need a circle of about 2 to 3 cm diameter. The bottle states that it is paricularly good for colour treated or highlighted hair brunette hair.
I don't know if buying shampoo and conditioner by hair colour really makes a difference in particular, but this product is good and does it's job anyway.
It states that it has special illuminating properties - and contains cocoa bean and crushed pearls to help achieve this...

Converting John Frieda Brilliant Brunettes everywhere!
Advantages: Leaves hair glossy, silky and smooth, fabulous smell, easy to style afterwards
Disadvantages: Doesn't enhance highlights
...around the crown. I also find it remarkable that a conditioner which gets such great results is able to be used daily, but I've had no problems in that area either, with no sign of build up or dulling with repeated use.
After a month's use of this I do feel that it has managed to reduce the amount of breakage that I'm suffering from. Normally at this stage (about 6 weeks after a haircut) my hair would be starting to look a little bit worse for wear after putting up with constant hot styling tools and aggressive brushing, but I have to admit that my hair currently looks as good as it did the day I got back from the hairdressers - result!
My only slight disappointment with this is that unlike the John Frieda brunette range, it doesn't seem to encourage the natural highlights in my hair, rather just enhance the natural brunette colour. But hey...

Step 2 Conditioning with John frieda
Advantages: Well worth the price
Disadvantages: None
...Step 2. Followed on from my previous review. John frieda defrizzes my hair..
I didn't want to add this to my first review as I think these products warrant a review on their own.
If your going to buy John Frieda shampoo you will need the conditioning treatment as you wont get the full benefits. It is more expensive that the shampoo, costing £4.44 for a 200ml tube.
* Frizz-Ease Daily Smooth Conditioner *
Mine is in a tube where the picture shows otherwise, possibly I have an older range or the picture shown is older. It comes in the same colouring as the shampoo, white for original, blue for extra strength. This does go a long away as you only need a small amount, the cream seems thicker than other ranges and gives a good covering. I have thick shoulder length hair; a walnut shaped amount does for mine.
* How to use...

John Frieda Frizz Ease Hair Products
Advantages: Smooth and Soft Hair
Disadvantages: none
...I work out doors in all sorts of conditions wind, rain and the sun and I found my hair was getting out of condition and starting to go frizzy and looking abit wild which is no good for my job which is meeting and greeting people.
So I decided to see what was available on the market and after reading and researching about what products would be the most suitable I decided to try the John Frieda Frizz Ease range.
Since starting these brilliant products I soon noticed it working very quickly and Its only taken a couple of washes.
No more frizzy hair thank goodness to this wonderful product it feels so much smoother and just feels so good, you only need a small amount of shampoo, conditioner and the hair serum which works treat.
You may think it's a bit pricey but because you only need a small amount it will last for a good while, so it...

John Frieda Frizz Ease - Shouldn't have gotten my hopes up
Advantages: Gets rid of some frizz, no smell, doesn't leave a sticky residue
Disadvantages: Price, doesn't get rid of all the frizz
..."Frizz-Ease® is the U.K's number 1 brand for frizzy hair. The John Frieda® hair care experts have spent years studying frizz, gaining an in-depth understanding of the many levels and types of frizz, and have developed customised solutions to make all levels of frizz more beautiful and manageable. "
My hair is quite frizzy, and it's thick and below shoulder-length, so I wanted something to calm down the frizz and make my hair more smoother. I came across 'John Frieda Frizz Ease' hair serum, and read a lot of reviews about it to make up my mind on whether to get it or not. I saw it worked for most people so I gave it a go.
The directions are as shows:
"Use after shampooing and conditioning on soaking wet hair (squeeze out excess moisture, but DO NOT TOWEL DRY). Dispense a small amount of serum into palms and smooth through wet hair...

John Frieda Frizz Ease Straightening Potion
Advantages: makes you hair pokerstraight , frizz free and smooth
Disadvantages: doesn't last really long , looks a bit greasy if too much is used
...When I first bought John Frieda Straightening Spray/Potion I didn't think it was going to be that good.
But I judged it without knowing how great it really is!
This really makes your smoother, straighter and frizz-free.
It also repairs and protects hair from any heat styler.
Great isn't it ??!!!!
How to use it.....
I shampooed and conditioned my hair as usual and towel dried it until it was quite damp. Then I used John Frieda Frizz Ease Hair Serum ( extra strength formula) and applied it around my hair.
After that i divided my hair into 8-10 small sections,I took one section and sprayed the potion from the roots all the way down using a bit extra for the ends. After That I applied the hair serum agen onto the section.
Now I've got a double sided brush called a "ceramic straightening brush", it looks a bit like a real...

John Frieda Miraculous Recovery
Advantages: It does what it says on the pot !
Disadvantages: None !
...Ingredients for disaster:
Fine flyaway hair
Bleached highlights
Daily use with GHD Straighteners
Method
Regular trims and using good hair products - one of which in my opinion is John Frieda Frizz Ease Critical Care Miraculous Recovery. It comes in individual sachets for 99p - so very handy if you want to try it, or for about £4.95 in a 150ml pot, which as my hair is fine and in a chin length graduated bob lasts me for about 6 washes.
It does have the consistency of normal conditioner and is designed for use on heat damaged hair. I find it helps to nourish my daily straightened hair and prevent damage, I have my hair cut every 5 weeks and by using Miraculous Recovery once a week find that I no longer have "candy floss" ends when it comes to trim time.
Like: The way my hair feels on using this product.
Dislike...

For lank locks everywhere!
Advantages: none
Disadvantages: lots!
...A few weeks ago my local Boots had a promotion where by if you spent £10 in the store you were given a £2 voucher to spend on various hair care products. I love to try new hair care products and spend far more than I should do! As soon as I spotted the attractive blue and gold tube of luxurious volume thickening conditioner by John Frieda I knew I would be taking it home!
The information on the tube promises that this conditioner will add both volume and shine to my hair. I also checked on Boots web site to see what this conditioner promises and see that not only should this conditioner add shine and volume but will also strengthen and fortify my fine hair. It should also help to reduce hair breakage and enhance hair elasticit. All this sounds really impressive, so does it work?
Like other John Frieda products I have tried this...

I ♥ Mr Frieda!
Advantages: Keeps its promises, smells nice
Disadvantages: Possible skin irritant...
...it has lived up to its promises, my hair does feel soft and smooth and it is more mangeable. Before, my hair used to knot very easily - this is no longer the case. It might sound really cliché, but it's like having different hair.
