John Frieda Brunette Shampoo
Advantages: -
Disadvantages: -
...About
I got this shampoo in a set from a friend at Christmas as a gift, I normally use Tony and Guy products on my hair but I think that this is a great shampoo, I may even have been converted from my old Tony and Guy ways.
The smell
This product has a lovely aroma that you can smell from when the bottle cap is opened, it leaves your hair smelling great after you have dried it but the smell will fade after afew hours as you would expect.
Application
When applying this product you simply use it as you would use any other shampoo, it is no easier or harder to wash out in my opinion. This product is for brunettes only.
The Results
After washing my hair with this shampoo it felt lovely and soft and looked really healthy, my hair can be very dry on occasion and this product left it looking and feeling great.

I ♥ Mr Frieda!
Advantages: Keeps its promises, smells nice
Disadvantages: Possible skin irritant...
...First off, to avoid confusion - I'm reviewing John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Shine Release? Moisturising Shampoo.
Ok so the situation is this:
After what has felt like months, maybe even years of chopping and changing hair products and still failing to find anything half decent for my hair, I was just about to give up and do a Natalie Portman and shave it all off....ok so maybe things weren't that drastic but I was very close to just buying a hat/wig/paper bag. But in between talk of holidays and exams my hairdresser told me that I should be using a moisturising shampoo on my hair. Now I had no clue about hair types - could this be where I was going wrong?
Wandering around shops, admiring my new 'do in every mirror I chanced upon - I thought about a couple of the products that she had recommended. One was a fairly expensive...

DON'T YOU POO-POO THIS SHAMPOO!
Advantages: Amazing results.
Disadvantages: Moderately expensive.
...various shades of browns; to create an effect that oozes quality (see pictures). The information on the packaging contains coherent directions of use, the ingredients (helpful for those with allergies) and the intended result of the shampoo. John Frieda does his bit for the environment, as; the packaging is recyclable.
There are two variations of the shampoo, aimed at differing hair colourings; 'Hazelnut to Chestnut' (lighter shades of brunette) and 'Chocolate to Espresso' (darker shades of brunette). It does inform you on the packaging, which hair colour the shampoo is intended for. The shampoo is for those who are natural brunettes, colour treated brunettes or highlighted brunettes.
The shampoo claims that it; 'reveals incredible, vibrant shine and glistening luminosity while gently cleansing', 'brings out the multi dimensional...

John Frieda - For a Little Bit of Luxury In Your Life!
Advantages: Hair smells fantastic and hair feels soft .
Disadvantages: I suppose there are a lot of chemicals listed in this - but this is the same for most conditioners
...JOHN FRIEDA CONDITIONER
John Frieda Conditioner
I thought that I would review this conditioner as I recently ran out of it and so had to use a general one that was knocking about in the bathroom. It is only then that I realised how good this conditioner is and how much I missed it.
What it is like and overall opinion.-
The conditioner is a creamy colour and is quite thick in consistency, so you only need a circle of about 2 to 3 cm diameter. The bottle states that it is paricularly good for colour treated or highlighted hair brunette hair.
I don't know if buying shampoo and conditioner by hair colour really makes a difference in particular, but this product is good and does it's job anyway.
It states that it has special illuminating properties - and contains cocoa bean and crushed pearls to help achieve this...

John Frieda Sheer Blonde Shampoo
Advantages: leaves your hair bright and shiny!!
Disadvantages: Price (cos its the only one i can think of)
...After having my highlights re-done several times over the last few years and trying various products and never having much success, I always found they dulled really quickly.
Then again i hadnt tried Sheer blonde!
It was recommened to me and what a difference it made.
It is designed to counteract the darkening and dullen that daily life has on the hair. It is highlight activating shampoo which gets rid of all the toxins - smoke, pullition etc. and brightens your hair. I wasnt sure at first having heard the same thing before but this really did make a difference!
It neutralises chlorine so after a swim i can be pretty sure that my hair doesnt go green!!
There are two types of shampoo:
Champagne Blonde and;
Honey to Caramel blonde
so whatever blonde you are there is one to suit.
The product looks great- a nice caramely...

Step 2 Conditioning with John frieda
Advantages: Well worth the price
Disadvantages: None
...Step 2. Followed on from my previous review. John frieda defrizzes my hair..
I didn't want to add this to my first review as I think these products warrant a review on their own.
If your going to buy John Frieda shampoo you will need the conditioning treatment as you wont get the full benefits. It is more expensive that the shampoo, costing £4.44 for a 200ml tube.
* Frizz-Ease Daily Smooth Conditioner *
Mine is in a tube where the picture shows otherwise, possibly I have an older range or the picture shown is older. It comes in the same colouring as the shampoo, white for original, blue for extra strength. This does go a long away as you only need a small amount, the cream seems thicker than other ranges and gives a good covering. I have thick shoulder length hair; a walnut shaped amount does for mine.
* How to use...

John Frieda Frizz Ease Hair Products
Advantages: Smooth and Soft Hair
Disadvantages: none
...I work out doors in all sorts of conditions wind, rain and the sun and I found my hair was getting out of condition and starting to go frizzy and looking abit wild which is no good for my job which is meeting and greeting people.
So I decided to see what was available on the market and after reading and researching about what products would be the most suitable I decided to try the John Frieda Frizz Ease range.
Since starting these brilliant products I soon noticed it working very quickly and Its only taken a couple of washes.
No more frizzy hair thank goodness to this wonderful product it feels so much smoother and just feels so good, you only need a small amount of shampoo, conditioner and the hair serum which works treat.
You may think it's a bit pricey but because you only need a small amount it will last for a good while, so it...

Sheer Blonde Volumising Shampoo Alert!
Advantages: Volumises hair and keeps blonde hair blonde
Disadvantages: Little bit pricey
...Having lank hair is bad enough, but having lank hair that looks dry on the ends from too much bleaching is even worse. It's a catch-22: you either use something that stops it flopping but does not moisturise the ends or you use something that moisturises the ends but is too heavy for lank hair.
I have tried dozens of shampoos to boost the volume of my hair and make the ends look shiny and John Frieda's Sheer Blonde Volumising Shampoo is the ONLY shampoo that works for me. As well as keeping my blonde hair blonde, it also shines and strengthens the ends to keep them as good as new. The volumising shampoo from the range is fantastic for making my hair feel thick and volumised without having to use other products like mousse or spray.
Although this shampoo costs approx. £5 per bottle, you don't need much to get a creamy lather, so it...

John Frieda Frizz Ease Straightening Potion
Advantages: makes you hair pokerstraight , frizz free and smooth
Disadvantages: doesn't last really long , looks a bit greasy if too much is used
...When I first bought John Frieda Straightening Spray/Potion I didn't think it was going to be that good.
But I judged it without knowing how great it really is!
This really makes your smoother, straighter and frizz-free.
It also repairs and protects hair from any heat styler.
Great isn't it ??!!!!
How to use it.....
I shampooed and conditioned my hair as usual and towel dried it until it was quite damp. Then I used John Frieda Frizz Ease Hair Serum ( extra strength formula) and applied it around my hair.
After that i divided my hair into 8-10 small sections,I took one section and sprayed the potion from the roots all the way down using a bit extra for the ends. After That I applied the hair serum agen onto the section.
Now I've got a double sided brush called a "ceramic straightening brush", it looks a bit like a real...
