...Being a regular when it comes to eating out, I thought I'd share my experience's of this restaurant with you. These are accounts of four different occasions at four different Brewsters. The following content may be slightly on the gross side and is entirely factual.Ahem... GENERAL INFORMATION You can find these restaurants at the side of busy roads and near slip roads. They look rather welcoming and usually have a large play area outside for children. When inside, you will notice that your kids have flew off in the direction of the indoor play area. Advantages: Child Friendly
Disadvantages: Expensive and not very appetising

...This is the main place I go if I go out for lunch as it is child friendly and having a 3½ year old son doesn't make it easy having a relaxing lunch out! Brewsters has a bar area and there are some tables there if you want to sit away from the children's area. There is also quite a large restaurant, which includes seats through at the children's area. That bit is good as the children's bit is not too big now but big enough for them and you can sit at a table and still be close enough to the chidren playing, so they can play and you can eat!! And you are close enough for them to know where you are and to keep coming back and fore to see you,or to get food, drink, etc. The food itself is expensive. There is a special offer menu where you can pick a starter and main course or main course and sweet for £5.99, but it's not available...

brewsters the lazy bear

...Brewsters is one of those pub/restaurants that you get on the side of the road. Set out like a pub it offers a meal for all the family. There is also a children?s play area to keep them amused, presumably whilst you wait for your meal or afterwards so that parents can enjoy a drink in peace. Sounds very nice you?d say but I was far from impressed, as I am about to explain: On my visit to Brewsters I had to wait a grand total of ?.61 minutes (!!!) for my meal to arrive!! Needless to say I was not very pleased with this poor service and had expected better, especially as it is meant to be an established restaurant. I?m guessing here an ulterior reason for the children?s play area. When my food finally did arrive I was rather surprised to find that the lettuce on the salad had burnt from where it had obviously been warmed up. I was...

...Myself and Glenn boh had a couple of days off work last week so we decided to go out for a nice lunch together. There was a discount voucher in the local paper the night before so we thought we'd use it and have lunch at Brewsters after much thinking about going to Pizza Hut for as much as you can eat for £5.49. Well it wasn't long and I was really wishing that we had gone to Pizza Hut.... I had been to this restaurant in the past and had been satisfied with my meal and the service that I had received but not this time. We arrived and there was plenty of space to park so we parked up and went inside. The restaurant is nicely decorated with smoking on one side of the building and non smoking the other side. I used my two week free trial with this company and remained with them for a couple of monthsbefore moving on to try many other companies free trials (and winning a new DVD player on Tesco DVD rental site on their free trial offer). I then had an email from DVDs 365 asking me to go back, and offering me a free DVD if I did so. Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

...At first I wasn't convinced by up-scaling DVD player technology but was persuaded after reading an article in "What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision" magazine. Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. All the components such as cables, remote and manuals were well presented in their own protective plastic bags, to keep them protected. The player...

BREWSTER FOR 5TH BIRTHDAY - NOT FOR 6TH!

Advantages: No mess to clean up, hopefully happy kids!
Disadvantages: Noisy, not well organised

...This review is based on the birthday parties in the play zone - not the restaurant facillities. My daughter had been to Brewsters in Nuneaton for several friends birthdays so it was her first choice when it came to her birthday. My husband had always taken her and agreed it had been good, so I booked it straight away. The parties were bookable throughout the day in of 1 1/2 hours. When I rang I was asked to pay a £5.00 deposit which would secure the booking. Great, I thought. The girl seemed very pleasent, and I was told to call in and collect invitations and thank you cards. I must admit I was impressed by this and very happy with our choice. Two weeks before the party I rang to confirm the numbers. The telephone was answered by one of the restauaunt staff who I found to be a giggling idiot who did not seem at all...

A Licensed Nursery

Advantages: Kids, large roomy buildings, beer gardens, sport room, barbeques in summer
Disadvantages: Expensive, noisy, food just ok, service, rampaging small people, Brewster the bloody bear

...Brewsters is owned by the Whitbread Group and aims to deliver outlets with an atmosphere aimed at families with children. They currently have over 140 outlets across the country and have plans to expand further. Normally they are situated in built up areas, near main through roads and quite usually next to a Travel Inn motel, this is because Travel Inn is another member of the Whitbread Group. I have two Brewsters near me and I have visited quite regulary for pub lunches, family occasions etc. Brewsters is very simular to the ever growing band of chain restaurants i.e Hungry Horse, Tom Cobleigh etc in that is focuses on the family and welcomes children with open arms (a concept frowned upon until recent times). This is quite evident as soon as you go near one of their restaurants, the outsides have beer gardens with playgrounds...
