Tesco Value Juice - Juice Yourself!

Advantages: Cheap product, pretty good taste, smooth, recyclable carton.
Disadvantages: It's not Tropicana is it!

...I purchased this product instead of my normal Tropicana saving myself almost £1.50 on a 1 litre carton. This product is 56p a litre at present and is an absolute bargain! It is basic packaging, a standard juice carton with the Tesco value logo all over it and telling you that it is orange juice made from concentrate. Upon opening the carton there is a slight chemical smell but you can also smell oranges which is obviously a good start! The juice is smooth with absolutely no bits and looks a little watery when poured out in a glass. The juice smells just like oranges once out of the carton. When tasting the product I notice that it is indeed very smooth and has an almost sour kick to it, if you have a mouth ulcer this is definitely not the product for you! It does not taste completely like oranges, there is a slight after taste...

... Background: When I was a child Apple juice was always in my household and especially to me considered a luxury. We only had it when we were on holiday as a starter before our main breakfast. These days I enjoy a glass most nights with my dinner, my how times change. Value Apple Juice: A one-litre carton of pure Apple Juice can cost up to £1.93 in my local Tesco?s. However I have recently started to economise and have been experimenting with the Tesco Economy Apple Juice that currently costs just 56p. This type of Apple Juice is made solely by Tesco. Admittedly not as cheap as the Value Orange Juice they also make but are not currently sold in the same high volumes either. Packaging: I am very pleased to say that Tesco have improved their packaging of all their Value range in the last few months...

Review of Tesco Value Pure Apple Juice

A great juice drink.

Advantages: Tasty, good for you, nice colour

...I love fruit juice and I always like to try new flavours so when I saw Pomegreat on sale it really caught my eye. The packaging is yellow and a kind of deep burgundy/red and manages to look both retro and modern and the same time. Upon further examination of the, (recyclable), carton I notice the logo for H.E.A.R.T. UK - The Cholesterol charity and "assumed" that the juice would help those with a cholesterol problem, (the other half recently had a test following his Dad's triple bypass operation and discovered he has inherited the problem), so I popped a carton in the trolley. After I got this home and read the packaging, (no small feat - it is covered with text), I discovered that Pomegreat made no specific claims about the benefits for your health or your cholesterol. ...I came across this product in Asda last week when I was looking for something to give my fine hair a bit more body. At £3.00 for 250ml I thought it wasn't too expensive and if it didn't work, as so many different products I've tried didn't, well at least I hadn't wasted too much money. Juiced - get racing

Advantages: Good racing
Disadvantages: some stunts a littl difficult

...Juiced is a very addictive game. The best thing to do is start off simple. I love the modding option, watch your cash though. As you get better at racing the money will start to flow in. I personally never enter pink slip races unless I have a back up car or enough cash to buy a similar car to race with. The options are for racing are good, you can even host your own event. The thing I found difficult to do was drifting, and I have an analogue controller. Spooking your opponents is good fun, but beware they will probably try and do the same thing to you once they get back up to speed. The only thing I can grumble about is not being able to choose your own car at the start of the game. I found using the on screen circuit guide very useful, especially during a night race. Once you start modding you'll never want to...
