Footjoy AQL Golf Shoes

Advantages: Look nice,
Disadvantages: Only lasted 5 rounds of golf.

...Purchased a pair of these golf shoes three weeks ago on th 29-Sept-2009.Whn they arrived the looked super and just what I wanted smart wee bit flash and Footjoy.After one round of golf they look like my old ones with the white leather across they front creasing badly.I tried puting leather protector on as footjoy said I should,all this has done no good today after five rounds of golf they are starting to split along the bottom.They are now on there way back to the shop who supplied them.(the shop is superb and it is not there fault).In summary there are plenty of very good golf shoes out there unfortunately The Footjoy AQL does not appear to be the best.I do have three other pairs of footjoy shoes which have served me well so this may be just a one off....

Adidas make Great shoe

...I recently bought my self a paid of these shoes, and for the price they were a very good product. They are extreamly comfortable and I dont have aching feet after long day of golf as i usually do. I do usually go for Footjoy and i dont like to deviate away from what i know, but i decided to go for a change and i am very happy I did. To design is ok just depends what you like they are a bit individual with the adidas striped going all round the shoe and under the sole. They breath well and are so far, waterproof. the only small problem that when your feeet get slighly damp coz of sweating they start to squeek slightly and can be very annoying. But that is just a small thing and is proably my wonky feet. They are light on foot and are easy walking. All in all a good shoe well worth the money if you want to get away from Footjoy....

Junior: The intellectual parenting magazine

Advantages: Lots of articles, full of information, gorgeous photography
Disadvantages: Expensive

...I have always seen this magazine in WH Smith whenever I go to pick up the other parenting magazines I buy every month, but to be honest I have never paid that much attention to it. I saw an advert on a website I belong to which said to ring a number and you get a free issue of Junior and then a further 3 issues for just £1. I couldn't resist and then the next month, my first ever issue of Junior dropped onto my doormat. The first thing I noticed was the quality of the magazine itself. The cover is lovely and glossy, and all of the pages inside are very thick and have that expensive look to them, you can tell this is a magazine aimed more towards the upper class reader (I'm not being a snob, just my opinion!). Scone Shoes

I put it away during my teenage years and forgot about it until Christmas 2007 when I watched the BBC adaptation with Emma Watson. Get A Grip!

Advantages: Comfortable, waterproof, stylish, good grip.
Disadvantages: Make sure you break them in properly before you hit the golf course!

...I wasn't over enamoured! The runner-up spot in a team competition last summer at my golf club won me a new pair of golf shoes. Problem was, they weren't the Footjoy brand that I normally wear and which have served me well down through the years, but a pair of white Adidas shoes with black stripes which for all the world looked like a pair of my teenage daughter's trainers. I was even less enamoured when I discovered that they hadn't been purchased in the club professional's shop, which meant I couldn't exchange them for something else. There's Nothing Worse Than Cold Wet Feet

Advantages: Keep your wee tootsies warm, dry and comfortable
Disadvantages: Expensive (but you get what you pay for!)

Stylo a manufacurer of quality ladies golf gear

Advantages: Good quality clothes at competative prices
Disadvantages: Use tried and tested designs not fashion leader.

...I have been looking for practical, reasonably priced every day golf wear ever since being spoilt by my visit to New York in November 2002. On a visit to Norwich I found a lovely selection of Stylo golf clothes for ladies. I was tempted to purchase a pink & a black polo neck jumper and a pink bodywarmer.The polo necks were £14 and the bodywarmer £25. Today 23.09.03 they had their first outing in our ladies day. The clothes looked smart and fitted like a glove. I look for winter clothes to be light, easy to move in, easy to wash and dry but above all to keep you warm while allowing your skin to breath. These clothes appear to meet all these criteria and I will have to wait to see if they meet the test of time. The polo necks are made from 100% cotton and the bodywarmer 100% polyester unfortunately non of the labels inform you...
