...This is a brilliant sized slide for a wee one, and it is durable too. My son got this slide for his second birthday, he is now 3 and still uses it, as well as my 5-year old niece! So it is durable and good-lasting. (I had thought my son would be bored of a small slide when I got him a bigger one this year, but he still uses it). It is bright colours so it is also a good visual for wee ones. When you buy it, it is still in the box so you have to assemble it yourself but it is fairly straightforward to assemble. Children should be supervised on the slide, although it is quite small so if they do fall they probably won't be too badly hurt. The slide folds so it is easy to take in and out, or easily stored away. The price of the slide is very reasonable too - about £18.99. The age range is from about 2-4, although...

...I bought this slide for my sons 2nd birthday, although he didnt really start to use it until about 2.5yrs. He has just recently turned 3 and can't get enough of it. And is for both indoor & outdoor use. The slide look pretty darn good, not overcrowded with colours, which is a great start to teaching your little treasure. It also helps your child develope coordination, balance and strength. The slide comes flat packed but only took my husband about 15mins to assemble it - no tools needed, which is always a relief because you never seem to have the exact one for the job. The dimensions of the slide are H69, W112, D57. This is great because it will easily fit into smaller gardens like my own. Other good features include the fact that you can fold away for easy storage, but to be honest I never fold it away. I don't see the point...

Junior: The intellectual parenting magazine

...I have always seen this magazine in WH Smith whenever I go to pick up the other parenting magazines I buy every month, but to be honest I have never paid that much attention to it. I saw an advert on a website I belong to which said to ring a number and you get a free issue of Junior and then a further 3 issues for just £1. I couldn't resist and then the next month, my first ever issue of Junior dropped onto my doormat. The first thing I noticed was the quality of the magazine itself. The cover is lovely and glossy, and all of the pages inside are very thick and have that expensive look to them, you can tell this is a magazine aimed more towards the upper class reader (I'm not being a snob, just my opinion!).
