...First of all, let me give you my solumn promise that this is going to be the one and only Lush op I'm going to write! I know how sick and tired some of you are of reading all about Lush! I only want to write this one Lush op for one reason only. There's a Lush shop opened up in Norwich now. Still Distilling after all these years

Jumping for Joy

Advantages: oil-free hair, easy to use
Disadvantages: breaks up when left in damp conditions

...for longer than other shampoos. Noticeably longer, in fact. It is such a relief not to have to wash and dry my rather long hair every evening; Jumping Juniper allows me to only have to wash it every other day, or even every three depending on how lazy I'm being. This is a godsend when you consider that it takes me 15 minutes to wash my hair, then 15 hours to dry it. OK, slight exaggerration, maybe only about 45 minutes, but still, it's a long time, and I like to avoid the inconvenience for as long as possible. So would I recommend this product? Yes, definitely, especially for the world's teenagers. So next time you're in Lush, buy it and try it; you won't be disappointed....

...Another Lush review, I know, I know, I swear I will review something else soon! This is actually not a product I've just sampled for the first time in my recent haul of goodies, but one I've been using on and off for a few years and I am really impressed with. I think it was the first Lush product I ever tried. Jumping Juniper is one of Lush's solid shampoo bars - well they're called bars but to me a bar is rectangular, these are round like hockey pucks, but whatever - and is aimed at those whose hair leans towards the greasy side. They were produced to cut down on waste by using plastic bottles to package shampoo, but I've always bought them because the fact they cannot leak makes them really great for travelling, especially now you are limited with how much liquid you can carry in your hand luggage. ...This bright purple solid shampoo bar has the most wonderful aroma that it begs you to buy it. I must admit that it was the colour and the smell that tempted me to buy this bar rather than the ingredients or performance of the shampoo. I had never used a solid shampoo bar before but overall I have been very pleased with this bar. The colour, of course, is totally irrelevant to a shampoo, but does seem very important when you are in the shop. Although the bar has the lovely smell of lemon and juniperberry this does not stay with your hair after washing it and I was a bit disappointed as I rather like the smell. Relax with an orange! (And some juniper, and frankincense . . .)

Advantages: very relaxing, not so oily that it feels greasy, interesting fragrance
Disadvantages: none for me, but might not suit those with certain medical conditions

...become a bit fiddly if I used the oil for massage and didn't wipe the residual oil off my hands before replacing it. Around the body of the bottle is a mostly white label with olive green areas - the colours that the Botanics range seems to go for these days - but the title "Time to Unwind" is picked out in a quite bright jade/aqua green, and below that the words "Relaxing, Calming and Soothing" are printed. I'm still not sure if I think the jade is a good colour - I do associate it with a mental image of spas and pampering sessions, but it clashes in my mind with the scent of the oil inside the bottle. I suppose one disadvantage to the dark bottle is that it makes it a bit harder to see how much is left inside, but I think this could probably be guessed by either picking it up or holding it up to the light. ...Another day, another Lush op- well I'm sorry but they simply have the most interesting products to write about at the moment. Apologies that once again, ciao has chosen to illustrate this op with the wrong bottle of Lush shampoo! Ever on a quest to find a solution for my greasy hair, I picked up this product at the same time as the bottle of I Love Juicy shampoo when I was last at Lush. I was fascinated by the idea of a solid shampoo bar and so bought it out of curiousity really more than anything. Lush don't provide any specific instructions on how to use their shampoo bars with the product itself, but the details are on their website (lush.co.uk) or in their catalogue, "Lush Times" which you can pick up at the store- I think you have to make a purchase to get one though so check with the staff! Or just ask for the staff for help...

...lush sell a range of solid shampoo bars, which are just like soap really. this particular one is meant for greasy hair, which i have, so i thought there was no harm in giving it a go. you can pick up this particular bar for about £3.10 or something like that. this seems a lot for a small bar, but i promise you it will last for months. i don't use mine every time i wash my hair - i use it about once a week or so, and its lasted me for over a year so far, and its not at the end of its life yet! shampoo bars are dead easy to use - just wet your hair really well and then rub the bar in a circular motion about 3 times on your head. then you massage the lather into your hair like you would do with a normal shampoo, and then rinse it out. as for controlling grease, the bar performs no miracles, but is much better than most shampoos...

Olbas Oil

The other way they recommend using Olbas oil is by adding a few drops to your bath and inhaling the vapours that way or adding it to hot water and leaving the vapours to release in your room overnight. I haven?t tried either of these ways but it?s nice to know it?s quite a versatile product with a number of uses to help sort out your cold. I especially like the overnight idea as the product will keep on working even when you are asleep. According to their website it is suitable for adults and children as young as three months but I would check with a doctor or pharmacist if you have any concerns before using. A 15ml bottle of Olbas Oil from Boots costs £2.93 and I?m sure will last quite a long while as I have really only used a couple of drops since I got it and the bottle looks...
