...If you are going to use this hotel then from the airport take the 'SkyLink' coach. This is faster and cheaper than a taxi would be and there is a stop directly outside the hotel. There are however two routes the coaches can take. Make sure you check before you board or the other stop is quite a walk away from the hotel. The hotel its self is well situated and is only a short walk from the city centre and the bus station. At the bus station you can take buses to nearby places of interest such as Blarney and the old Midleton distillery. The hotel itself has quite a large foyer and the staff at reception are friendly and helpful and are willing to arrange taxis and tell you how to get to local places of interest. Jurys inn - Cheap hotel in Leeds

Advantages: Cheap, presentable hotel, good location
Disadvantages: Soulless, very noisy from outside

...Jurys Inn, Leeds is a reasonably priced hotel that is a 10 minute walk both from the train station and shopping centre of Leeds. We stayed here one weekend in August 09 and it cost us £60 per night for a room with a double bed and a sofa bed (though it would have been squashed with 3 of us). We found the hotel clean and presentable, with reasonable facilities, but very soulless. The staff were polite, although reserved rather than warm. It is part of a chain of hotels, and I got the impression that probably every other hotel in this chain is exactly like this one. Checkout was at 12, though you could extend this (at a price). The facilities in the room were fairly standard for a budget hotel chain - there was a fair selection of tea and coffee, a desk with internet connection point, a television with more channels than we could hope to...

Jury's Inn, good quality hotel!

Advantages: Central, nice rooms, helpful staff!
Disadvantages: Parking location is annoying!

...I booked the Jury's Inn (Glasgow) for myself and two friends as we were spending a weekend there for my birthday. I have booked it two years on the run now and will probably book it again next year. It cost us £90 a night, which worked out at £180 for the Friday and Saturday night for three of us. The booking was very easy to make and the website is extremely user friendly. *****Location****** The drive upto Jury's Inn was very easy, as from Liverpool and its pretty much one motorway, but the hotel was also very easy to find and is right next to the bridge over the river on Jamaica Street. The hotel is very close to the centre of Glasgow and we walked in each night, which takes around 5-10 minutes max. THE JURY'S STILL OUT - UPDATED

Advantages: Low prices, excellent leisure facilities, some thermostically controlled showers
Disadvantages: bit out of the way, very noisy with poor soundproofing, no teletext on portable TV's

Advantages: Luxurious, central, gorgeous,

...of the health clue, which is fantastic. Check out on day of departure is 11am. I loved the Jury Cliffton Ford Hotel, and is perfect for exploring the city as it?s so central. It?s easy to find, and all taxi drivers had heard of it. It?s the best hotel I have stayed in while visiting London, and I?ll definitely be staying there again. For those of you visiting in a car, there?s a local NCP car park, which is a 2 minute walk from the hotel, and costs £29 per day. Overall it?s a fantastic hotel!! Thanks for the Read Cat x...

SPLIT DECISION FROM EDINBURGH JURY!

Advantages: Reasonable prices, easy booking, very central
Disadvantages: Expensive dial-up internet access, has the potential to be very noisy because of proximity to Waverley train station

...For anyone that doesn?t know, Jurys Doyle is a hotel and inn chain with its roots in Ireland and 36 hotels in cities across Ireland, the UK and a handful in the US, with another 3 UK outlets planned for the UK in 2005. Their offerings range from 3 star inns to 5 star luxury. Jurys Inn Edinburgh is just that, an Inn rather than a hotel, and at the lower end of the Jurys Doyle chain, room-wise comparable with the Premier half of the Premier Travel Inn chain. Runaway Jury

Advantages: entertaining film, well acted

...The Runaway Jury: If you have ever been called up for Jury Service in the UK you know that the first few days at least are pretty boring, sitting in a room potentially for a great portion of the day without your name being called. And even if you do get called there is no guarantee that you will sit on a jury. I've done Jury service twice and I was lucky enough to be called twice, I have to say that it was interesting. As regular Joe public I've no idea about the ins and outs of selection except that if you know the person on trial then you let someone know and they let you go. However in the US it would seem that trying to influence who sits on a Jury seems to be big business, they try to influence verdicts by getting someone who is biased to their cause. Advantages: Some good acting
Disadvantages: Disappointing film adaptation - might be better if you watch before you read the book.

...I think I actually saw the film before I read the book, but I remembered so little about it that it could not have affected my view of the book much at all. Anyway, the film, The Runaway Jury, based on the equally titled book by John Grisham, came on television recently. I must be getting too keen as I actually decided to watch it just so that I could write this review! I have to admit reading the book has influenced my opinion on this film and therefore somewhat had an impact on my review. Perhaps I liked the film better before I knew how good the novel was. Story There are some differences between the book and the film. The book is about cigarette manufacturers being sued for their part in the death of a smoker, whereas the film is about gun manufacturers, being sued for their part the death of a victim of a shooting.
