Jurys inn - Cheap hotel in Leeds

Advantages: Cheap, presentable hotel, good location
Disadvantages: Soulless, very noisy from outside

...Jurys Inn, Leeds is a reasonably priced hotel that is a 10 minute walk both from the train station and shopping centre of Leeds. We stayed here one weekend in August 09 and it cost us £60 per night for a room with a double bed and a sofa bed (though it would have been squashed with 3 of us). We found the hotel clean and presentable, with reasonable facilities, but very soulless. The staff were polite, although reserved rather than warm. It is part of a chain of hotels, and I got the impression that probably every other hotel in this chain is exactly like this one. Checkout was at 12, though you could extend this (at a price). The facilities in the room were fairly standard for a budget hotel chain - there was a fair selection of tea and coffee, a desk with internet connection point, a television with more channels than we could hope to...

...LOCATION Jurys Inn Nottingham is located between bridge over the river and a water channel on the London Road , southeast of the city centre, close to the railway station and within a two-minute walk of the tramway system. First Impression On arrival to the Jurys Inn in Nottingham city centre, me and my partner were greeted by a modern, quite impressive looking, 8-floors high building. Jury's Inn, good quality hotel!

Advantages: Central, nice rooms, helpful staff!
Disadvantages: Parking location is annoying!

...I booked the Jury's Inn (Glasgow) for myself and two friends as we were spending a weekend there for my birthday. I have booked it two years on the run now and will probably book it again next year. It cost us £90 a night, which worked out at £180 for the Friday and Saturday night for three of us. The booking was very easy to make and the website is extremely user friendly. *****Location****** The drive upto Jury's Inn was very easy, as from Liverpool and its pretty much one motorway, but the hotel was also very easy to find and is right next to the bridge over the river on Jamaica Street. ...It took a long time to choose a hotel that looked suitable for our needs of a two night trip, they were either over our budget or the reviews weren't very good and gave you cause for concern (a lot of these bad reviews came from hotels that are situated near and around temple bar area). After a lot of decision making we finally chose the Jurys Inn, Parnell Street. The reviews that we read were the best we had seen and there wasn't anything that could give you a major concern. It was also recommended to me by some work friends that had previously stayed there and I was assured that the rooms were nicely decorated and clean. ...Having attended a conference here before in one of the conference suites, and having stayed overnight at the hotel a few month's ago, I felt it was time to post a review of the Inn on Ciao. ~ The location ~ Jury's Inn Croydon is situated on the A212, Wellesley Road in central Croydon. This is one of the busiest roads in the borough and the hotel is only about a ten minute walk from mainline East Croydon station and the smaller West Croydon station. Jurys Belfast Inn not up to Jurys London standards

Advantages: Convenient to the Centre of town, helpful staff, easy to get to/from
Disadvantages: Noisy traffic, no car parking, worst breakfast in the UK!

...My company had their Christmas Party at Jury's in London a couple of years ago, so I thought it would be a good bet for my first visit to Belfast. But it did not compare at all to the Jury's Hotel in London. It was convenient to get to from the Belfast City Airport - taxi cost 7 pounds sterling, and the room rate was not bad for a business/work week stay at 65 pounds sterling per night (the rack rate on the wall is 71 and their website is 69, so it pays to get your travel agent to book them for you!) The lobby area was marble and nice looking, and the staff was helpful - complimentary newspapers, etc., but when I got to my room, it was a disappointment - the paint was chipped in the bathroom around the mirror, the furnishings could use an update, and the traffic was very noisy since I overlooked the main street. THE JURY IS 4 TO 1 IN FAVOUR

Advantages: Super location, cheap drinks, on-site parking, high speed internet access in rooms, good food
Disadvantages: Very large hotel, poor administration, charge for car-parking, room windows don't open

...Destination Birmingham, and on this occasion, as I was attending a group event, hotel choice was not optional. This is now the fourth in the Jurys chain I have used, and to be fair, probably the best, but also not without a few minor niggles, but more about that later. WHO ARE THEY? For anyone who is not aware of the Jurys Doyle chain, they are an Irish chain with over 30 properties in the UK, Ireland and the states and claim to be one of the fastest growing hotel chains in Europe. Advantages: RIGHT NEAR ALL AMENITIES, CLEAN ROOMS
Disadvantages: THEY ONCE TOOK TWO LOTS OF MONEY FROM ME

...I just love doing things spur of the moment, and last night was one of those nights. I was sat reading someones op about about Top Ten Rock songs and it transported me back to a good few years ago when I loved listening to most of these songs. That did it, I was bored and wanted to hit the Big City of Manchester. Here is where Jillys/Rockworld is, a combination of music all in one nightclub. Of course it mostly plays Rock,Goth and Indie Music, but I was dying to get the leather gear out and let my short hair down..
