INTRO
With a weight below 180 grams this medium-sized case can be considered, without a doubt, a lightweight case. I have been looking for a case where to put my werdly-sized camera (Canon S5 IS) for a long time after the fiasco of the original canon bag in which my camera does not fit properly; so I was in a shop (Curry's) the other day and I spotted this case on a shelf with a 97p tag on it. I asked the assistant if it was indeed 97p and so it was... I imediately bought it. I later found out that the price of this bag usually varies between £10-£15, currently on amazon is around £13 so I can consider myself quite lucky and happy of the amazing deal.
OVERVIEW
So let's see some details, first of all the size: approximately 17 x 11 x 10cm. The material...

Next decision was which one. I'm not very technologically minded and found that many of the words baffled me. Also I had no idea what certain abbreviations meant. I spent a whole day trawling through internet sites, finding out what I could about various products, what they offered etc, and what all the jargon meant.
I looked around for reviews but found only one on this product. It had been written by PC World, and gave it top marks. But I did come across several reviews on similar JVC products saying how many problems they had. However we were impressed with it's specs so decided to take the chance.

...With the surge in popularity of DVD recorders, it is very hard to notice the humble DVD player nowadays and it comes quite low on the list of 'must-haves'. However, if you are in the market for a good DVD player that is packed with features, the JVC XV-N55SL would be worthy of consideration.
We have had ours a couple of years now, but last year it got relegated to the dining room when we purchased our DVD recorder. It is hooked up to a portable TV we have in there but it does not really do justice to the JVC in all fairness. But that's the way things go. If we had room in our lounge under our TV on top of the DVD recorder it would still be there, because it is by far the better player of DVDs.

Review of JVC XVN 55SL

...We had this JVC KDSH 77 player installed in our car ( ALFA Romeo147) by Halfords about 18 mths ago.
I must say the sound was absolutely brilliant through the cars own fitted speakers ( Sony x 8 ) and for a while we were extremely happy with all the features on this machine.
It played all our CD/Rws, had a very simple to use tuner,with plenty of power,looked great,was user friendly and fitted in the dashboard perfectly.
No problem there I hear you say .
However....Unfortunately.
True to form as has been proved with many JVC car audio / music systems before.
The 12 month guarantee was up and within a couple of weeks almost to the day.
Guess what ??
It packed in. ( Error Message on Screen )
Went back to Halfords...Not our problem, Sir...
Our 12 month warranty is just up, any problems in the last twelve months...

The 8MB MultiMedia Card (SD card is an optional accessory) slots in behind the LCD screen door. Digital stills can be taken in JPEG format in two resolutions- 640x480 (standard) and 1,024x768 (fine) pixel modes. Jvc has included a feature called DPOF (Digital Print Order Format) which allows the tagging of skills stored on the MMC card for later printing.

...I have bought this JVC camcorder over an year ago and I am completely satisfied with it.
JVC is a good brand name and their lenses are of top quality. The company pioneered the HD camcorders.This camcorder is very light and handy and easy to use. 20GB hard disk is more than enough to store all your photos and videos taken in one vacation.
This is a very user friendly device. The 4-way (up, down, left, right) menu selector switch allows you to browse through various settings (like brightness, aperture etc.).Apart from that, there are main mode selector (still or video) switches. All you need to do is to select the appropriate still/video mode and press the shutter. The LCD screen shows you what you are capturing. If you are not satisfied, you can delete it with the press of a button other wise save it in the 20GB hard disk!

...Imagine the scene. Its late at night, the lights are down, the kids are asleep and I want to play Star Wars Battlefront II but don't want to wake everyone up. So I plug in my headphones which happen to be JVC HA-D424 into the headphone socket on the television. I place the headphones around my ears and turn on the game. BOOM, I'm instantly taken to another dimension. The lasers are no longer on the television, there in the room. Everything thats going on around me is forgotten and I am a clonetrooper trying to reach the next command post. I feel something hit me on the shoulder. I Jump, have I just been shot. It would be good in years to come to look at the pictures and remember but how much better would it be to watch the look on his face when he sees his christmas presents. And better still, watch him take those precious first steps. Ok, so a camera, not good enough anymore. Not when technology is progresing so rapidly.
So I invested in a camcorder. The JVC GZ MG57 to be precise.
However I hate all the technical stuff, so needed something that was relatively easy to get my head around. Thankfully the whole menu system that the camcorder has going on was easy to get my head around and I got my bearings relatively quick. The menu system provides quick and easy access to the shooting settings e.g shutter speed and scene modes.
I was worried about the size of the camcorder though, as I have big hands...

...My HI-Fi JVC MXKB4 Has worked a treat from I first bought it in 2004 Christmas.
I have used it now from the end of 2004 and I have to say, its great. I think the sound quality has been awsome. I have the double ended headphone ting that plugs into the AUX port on the HiFi and into my T.V's Headphone slot so I can listen to my TV through that. (This is in my bedroom) I play the PS2 through it aswell and I love the sound quality.
I think the bass could be improved. WIthout Dynamic Bass on a HIFi or a subwoofer the hifi is nothing. The bass makes it. This one has good bass but as usual - there is room for improvement!
Maybe a USB port to plug your MP3 player into as well would be nice. I have that cable so I can do it (Listen to my MP3 player via the AUX) but other poeple who dont have that cable cant. I cant even find a shop who...

Just thought I'll update you, the little bit of rubber by the pluc that I've shown on the attached picture is starting to break (after 3month), I'll see how long it will last. And by the way the chord gets tangled all the time and manages to tie itself in nots. Really annoying, I have to spend 5 minutes just to untangle it every time. So I have changed the durability and overall rating
FINALLY
I would probably buy a different design next time. These headphones are ok but not perfect. I find them too heavy on the ears. If you like the design and the ear hook style they are the best you can get in the shops for the price.
