Utilitarian case by JVC

Advantages: light, spacious, handy, good material
Disadvantages: no velcro compartments

... JVC CB A79 Case Camcorder also known as "reporter bag" INTRO With a weight below 180 grams this medium-sized case can be considered, without a doubt, a lightweight case. I have been looking for a case where to put my werdly-sized camera (Canon S5 IS) for a long time after the fiasco of the original canon bag in which my camera does not fit properly; so I was in a shop (Curry's) the other day and I spotted this case on a shelf with a 97p tag on it. I asked the assistant if it was indeed 97p and so it was... I imediately bought it. I later found out that the price of this bag usually varies between £10-£15, currently on amazon is around £13 so I can consider myself quite lucky and happy of the amazing deal. OVERVIEW So let's see some details, first of all the size: approximately 17 x 11 x 10cm. The material...

Diamond review  A JVC today, lets you record, edit and play!

Advantages: Everything in one package
Disadvantages: The manual is useless.

...substantial, especially if you do a good search. We bought from Electrical Discount UK. The service was good and delivery within 48 hours. We also paid an extra £99 for an additional 5 years cover. So if you are planning to buy I would reccomend them. However here is a few others that you may wish to check also. www.electricaldiscountuk.co.uk £457.86 + £3.99 p&p www.internetdvdsdirect.co.uk £535 + free p&p www.247electrical.co.uk £562.93 + £7.99 p&p www.webelectricals.co.uk £499.99 + free p&p Overall Verdict **************** We have been extremely happy with our purchase. Despite our fears regarding JVC we have not encountered any problems, and the manual might be slightly cuckoo but in reality it only took us an hour to set up and a couple of days to work out how it all worked. Our...

JVC XVN55SL

Advantages: Excellent picture quality, zoom and other functions, good sound output
Disadvantages: Non. If it recorded it would be the best ever..

...With the surge in popularity of DVD recorders, it is very hard to notice the humble DVD player nowadays and it comes quite low on the list of 'must-haves'. However, if you are in the market for a good DVD player that is packed with features, the JVC XV-N55SL would be worthy of consideration. We have had ours a couple of years now, but last year it got relegated to the dining room when we purchased our DVD recorder. It is hooked up to a portable TV we have in there but it does not really do justice to the JVC in all fairness. But that's the way things go. If we had room in our lounge under our TV on top of the DVD recorder it would still be there, because it is by far the better player of DVDs. When we got the JVC home as a Christmas present to both of us (from both of us) a couple of Christmases ago, we were amazed how light...

The Sound of Silence......JVC Style.........

Advantages: Stunning Sound and User Friendly
Disadvantages: Limited Use and JVC Helplines are useless.......

...We had this JVC KDSH 77 player installed in our car ( ALFA Romeo147) by Halfords about 18 mths ago. I must say the sound was absolutely brilliant through the cars own fitted speakers ( Sony x 8 ) and for a while we were extremely happy with all the features on this machine. It played all our CD/Rws, had a very simple to use tuner, with plenty of power, looked great, was user friendly and fitted in the dashboard perfectly. No problem there I hear you say . However....Unfortunately. True to form as has been proved with many JVC car audio / music systems before. The 12 month guarantee was up and within a couple of weeks almost to the day. Guess what ?? It packed in. ( Error Message on Screen ) Went back to Halfords...Not our problem, Sir... Our 12 month warranty is just up, any problems in the last twelve months...

jvc camcorder

Advantages: very easy to use, small and light
Disadvantages: ?

..., with all connecting sockets masked by colour-matched rubber hatches. The cam's main VCR controls are situated in the 2.5" colour LCD screen recess, and unless the remote control is being used this must be open in order to operate playback functions. It's here also that the main video/DSC ( Digital Stills Camera ) switch can be found. Features: The camcorders appearance underestimates it's comprehensive functionality. Not only do you get the full range of DV and AV inputs in the form of FireWire, composite video (via3-pole jack splitting to video and twin-audio RCA connectors) but S-video in and out as well. The S-video and LANC sockets ( for controlling suitably equipped analogue editing VCRs) are hidden behind a door adjacent to the lens on the outer body, whereas the AV socket is openly visible just above it. There's no external...

JVC PLAYER

Advantages: Beginners - kindly through clearness, stylish design, picture - and Tonqualität
Disadvantages: ---------------

...I dear cinema-films, and such, that pleased me especially well, would also like to have I at home then. Therefore, I have a quite big collection at videos. Through the miracles of the new technology impresses I wanted also to afford a DVD-Gerät approximately one month ago finally then. Therefore, I set out, with the solid resolution, no longer than 150 Euro, to spend, as also, with my constantly empties account *sfz *. Nevertheless, I wanted qualitatively acceptable ware and no " rattle-appliance ", and as DVD-Laie an as operator-friendly as possible appliance. I could be discussed and finally decided me for the DVD-Player " XV-N33SL " of JVC, that lay in the limit sedate by me in price and had even some addition-functions, that I had not at all expected. But to it later more. What does one get for the money? Besides...

JVC HD Camcorder

Advantages: Light, easy to use, good quality video and still, easy to transfer to/from computer
Disadvantages: Does not come with a bag

...I have bought this JVC camcorder over an year ago and I am completely satisfied with it. JVC is a good brand name and their lenses are of top quality. The company pioneered the HD camcorders. This camcorder is very light and handy and easy to use. 20GB hard disk is more than enough to store all your photos and videos taken in one vacation. This is a very user friendly device. The 4-way (up, down, left, right) menu selector switch allows you to browse through various settings (like brightness, aperture etc.).Apart from that, there are main mode selector (still or video) switches. All you need to do is to select the appropriate still/video mode and press the shutter. The LCD screen shows you what you are capturing. If you are not satisfied, you can delete it with the press of a button other wise save it in the 20GB hard disk! HD...

JVC, Good for me!!!

Advantages: can listen to your favourite tunes without waking the town
Disadvantages: Long jack lead gets tangled easily

...Imagine the scene. Its late at night, the lights are down, the kids are asleep and I want to play Star Wars Battlefront II but don't want to wake everyone up. So I plug in my headphones which happen to be JVC HA-D424 into the headphone socket on the television. I place the headphones around my ears and turn on the game. BOOM, I'm instantly taken to another dimension. The lasers are no longer on the television, there in the room. Everything thats going on around me is forgotten and I am a clonetrooper trying to reach the next command post. I feel something hit me on the shoulder. I Jump, have I just been shot. No its my girlfriend standing there. I take of the headphones and she says fancy a cuppa coffee. slowly my heart rate returns to normal. Yes please I say. Well hopefully this will help you realise that these headphones are really...

JVC Camcorder

Advantages: Compact and stores seven hours of video
Disadvantages: Slow autofocus

...at his pictures, but it's all still life. It would be good in years to come to look at the pictures and remember but how much better would it be to watch the look on his face when he sees his christmas presents. And better still, watch him take those precious first steps. Ok, so a camera, not good enough anymore. Not when technology is progresing so rapidly. So I invested in a camcorder. The JVC GZ MG57 to be precise. However I hate all the technical stuff, so needed something that was relatively easy to get my head around. Thankfully the whole menu system that the camcorder has going on was easy to get my head around and I got my bearings relatively quick. The menu system provides quick and easy access to the shooting settings e.g shutter speed and scene modes. I was worried about the size of the camcorder though, as I have big hands...

JVC MG142E - What a cracker

Advantages: Lightweight, Easy to use, Lots of built in memory
Disadvantages: None so far

...I have just brought the JVC MG142E and wanted to let you all know what a great little camcorder it is! First I should probably give you the technical stuff!! 40GB Inbuilt Hard Drive 34 x Optical Zoom 800 x Digital Zoom 2.7" Widescreen LCD Screen Memory Card slot for SD card Includes Image Stabiliser Night Vision Now, I am not exactly what you call an expert in technology but I found this little machine so great to get started with, after charging the battery for the first time, which takes about 1 1/2 hours, it is very easy to get to a point where you are recording. The first time you switch it on it starts up in Auto mode, meaning the focus, screen brightness etc is correctly selected for you. You can easily switch to manual mode but I have not been brave enough yet!! It prompts you to enter the date/time setting...
