Excellent High Definition Compact Camera & HD Video Recorder

Advantages: Superb quality 14.7mpx HD camera & video recorder with touchscreen & HDMI output
Disadvantages: Some users may have to watch they don't put their fingers over where the flash pops up

I spotted this in the Jan sales with £100 off and for a top of the range compact it was well worth splashing the cash on one considering what you get for your money! Not only do you get a 14.7 megapixel camera. Yes, that's right - a 14.7! You also get a built-in High Definition video recorder. With a decent memory card inside of the Samsung NV100HD you can take a lot of really great high quality snaps and the camera itself is very compact, hence the name. ...I purchased this box initially for the Euro 2008 Matches which were shown on ITV HD as well as BBC HD. Upon opening the box, the first thing I noticed was how small the foxsat is. He phoned the good people at Sky and managed to haggle the price down to around £100 off the advertised price and then had the cheek to also ask 'what happens to the old Sky+ box - can we have it installed in the bedroom thrown in'? My brand new snapper

Advantages: Smart, good quality pics, power, memory and lots of cool features
Disadvantages: A bit fiddly, badly placed flash, can be confusing at first

Advantages: Good quality reception, plenty of channels avalible
Disadvantages: Expensive, limited HD channels so far

...with it is the limted HD reception, admitedly it does look a lot better than normal digital. But it may just be the area i am in but i only have 1 dedicated HD channel. The rest have to be found by using the red button on the normal show. And even then the only HD tv seems to be football or tennis, admitedly for me it is not a bad thing. Im sure the variety can only get better though. Maybe doesn`t justify the expensive but is a solid all round freeview box....
